Abraham had two wives. Sarah and Hagar produced a son from Abraham. Sarah produced Isaac and Hagar produced Ishmael. Since then the Jews and Arabs have warred over family position and predominance! God in the Book of Genesis promised to Bless both families. The promised seed(Christ), was to come through the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. When Islam began in about 650 A.D. a religious system was born to legalize violence against Christians and Jews. On 9-11 Americans got their first real taste of this family feud! Now Bin Laden is gone along with tens of thousands of lives and hundreds of billions of dollars in losses! So where does it end? What is the solution? Do we give up and surrender to evil? Much of the world rejects Christ and His teachings. This includes many Jews, Arabs and gentiles. But it is Christ the only Son of God who is the real answer to this dilemma! Christianity was born out of the womb of Judaism! God promised the Messiah would come through the Jew. This does not mean God has rejected Arabs or anyone else! It was simply God’s plan for giving a Saviour to the world. I am not a Jew but God has given me a sacrifice for my Sin through the Jew. Prophetically Christ was to die on a Cross for all people. God did not leave anyone out of the plan. Until men come to Christ this war will continue. Once we understand that our Sin is forgiven by God then we can forgive others as we have been forgive. Peace comes to our lives when we embrace Christ and His Spirit lives in us! Christ is the solution for this dilemma! If we do not allow Christ’s blood to cleanse us then we will continue to shed our fellow man’s blood in war! Man is at war with God! God’s ways are higher than our ways! Jesus said those who live by the sword will die by the sword! Will it be His way or your way? The wages of Sin is death! The choice is yours! Choose Life today! Give God a chance to change your ways! Baddest Man on Planet Earth!
Iron Mike Tyson was the youngest boxer to win WBC, WBA,IBF World Heavyweight titles and hold these rankings simultaneously! He was born in Brooklyn New York in 1966. He fought 58 fights in his career winning 50 of those contests! 44 of those 50 wins were by knock out (KO). He is ranked No. 16 by Ring Magazine List of one hundred greatest punchers of all time! Mike also had a troubled life with prison time for rape and bit off part of an opponents ear during a fight! He was interviewed a few years ago and asked what was the key to your victories in the ring? Was it your months and years of preparation by punishing your body into shape? Was it discipline of spending hours in the gym everyday? He replied that the real key was when I stepped into the ring I had to be better than who I was! What was Mike Saying? Yes, adversity is the key to becoming better than who you are! The Bible says that Jesus learned obedience through the things that He suffered? How can God learn anything? It is so funny when I see immigrant families come here to American and get good jobs and then buy their kids everything they want and even borrow money to spoil their children and for what? To keep them from the very thing that will develop their character which is adversity! As we approach Palm Sunday, Good Friday and then Easter let us be reminded that suffering is never wasted if we commit it to God and His Christ! Thankyou. James Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
It is Finished!
Man’s work is never done! There is always one more dinner to make, one more bed to make, one more doctor’s visit, one more car to fix, one more class to attend, one more child to raise, one more house to build and then repair, one more hospital stay, one more vote to cast, one more day behind bars, one more probation, one more drug high, one more bill, one more day of unemployment, one more shot to be fired, ect. God’s work has been completed never to be done again! One time, that’s all! Christ on a Cross to give death a Victory! One day soon all our work here on earth will be completed! God has given us work to bring out our giftings He has placed in us! Christ’s work is Eternal and will last forever! The redemption of our soul’s is eternal! The question today is are you going to trust in your own work or on Christ’s work? My work and your work is temporary. His work is permanent! His work is lasting! After I am gone someone else will have to carry on my work! Someone else will have to fix the car, take out the trash, ect. But those who follow after me will have the same opportunity to make a decision for Christ as I have made and Trust His Work! Love demands a choice! You have made a choice about Christ! What is your choice? Either for Him or against Him? Christ chose the Cross for you! A work that will last forever! Christ’s completed work has brought fulfillment and meaning to my life!We cannot be dependent on our own works but on His work. When you leave this world someone else will have to continue your work! His work continues on in me forever! Happy Easter! Please read Book of John Chapter 17, Verse 4. James Sasse GodWhoisGod.com
Easter Story
A very rich man was a member of a church in his community. The Pastor and Chief Deacon spent alot of time with this rich man and asked for donations all the time. Rich man understood those who have more much more is required! Rich man gets sick goes to hospital and is near death! Pastor and chief deacon go to his bed side to pray. Rich man comes out of his comma and sees pastor on right side of bed and deacon on left side of bed. Rich man says I am just like Jesus crucified between two thieves!
Pastor Terry Jones
Was Pastor Terry Jones right? He was right about Islam! His expression about it was wrong! His actions exposed Islam for what it is! The news media asked Pastor Jones, “What would Jesus do?” The more important question should have been, “What did Jesus do?” Jesus was not a whimp! He called evil evil and good good. Today the world we live in calls evil good and good evil! When Jesus called the wicked religious leaders of his day a generation of vipers they nailed Him to a Cross! I am not Jesus and neither is Pastor Jones! Jesus loved his enemies by going to a Cross for their wickedness! Jesus went to that Cross for me, you, Pastor Jones, all Muslims and all enemies of the Cross which includes all people ever born or will ever be born on planet earth! I am not offering you a Christian but Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God who shed His precious Blood on a Cross 2000 years ago for your Sin and my Sin! Thankyou. James Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

What is the church?
A very controversial question with many, many answers—— You know the text in Matthew 16 when Peter made his confession and Christ promised, I will build my church—– I decided that the church was whatever Christ meant when he used the word “church” and the church is what Christ is doing in history.Whatever Christ meant when he said “church”, whatever he is building in the world, that is my definition of the church. Begging the question? I think not. According to his own testimony, Jesus entered history to do the Father’s will— an agreement they had arranged before the foundation of the world. He said, “I will build my church!” I believe it! The church is the body of Christ! The church is the bride of Christ. It is what he is building in the world. He said something else—fundamental to understanding the church as He meant it: ‘The gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” In obedience to the Father’s will He is building something in history that is indestructible—the church! It is inconceivable that Jesus would refuse to do the Father’s will—and it is inconceivable that He could fail in what he is building! What humans build is temporal—vulnerable—perishable. That which Christ is building—whatever it is—is permanent and eternal. The Church is what Christ is building in the world. My desire is to be part of that. Matthew16:17-18 “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” Source; Wisdom of the Church by Richard C. Halverson Published 1995.
Christmas Story will not save you!
It was around Christmas time in New York City. It was a cold night with light snow showers. Christmas carol’s were being sung around the city. An old man was walking down the street in Brooklyn. His mind was on his past and the mess he had made of his life! So many bad decisions and wrong choices. His thoughts were where will I go when I die? How do I get rid of my past? As he walked by a church he stopped turned around and knocked on the front door of the church. The Pastor opened the door and invited him in. The old man asked the Pastor if he could join the church? The Pastor said he could if he can answer one question correctly. The question is, “Where was Jesus Christ born?” The old man thought a minute and said, “I think it was Philadelphia?” The Pastor told him he was sorry and he should find another church. So the old man went down the street until he came to a Catholic Church. He knocked on the door and a Priest opened the door and invited him in. Old man asked Priest if he could join his Parish? Priest said he could if he could ask one question correctly. The Priest asked the old man where Jesus Christ was born? The old man said.” I think it was Pittsburg!” The Priest kindly asked him to join another Parish. Discouraged but not defeated he continued down the steets of Brooklyn. After a few blocks he came across a Synagogue. He knocked on the door and the Rabbi invited him in. He asked the Rabbi if he could join his congregation? The Rabbi said yes you can! The old man asked the Rabbi if he was going to ask him any questions? No said the Rabbi. We will take you just as you are! The old man was puzzled? Do you mind Rabbi if I ask you a question? The Rabbi said yes you can ask me any question you would like. The old man said,”I was just curious where was Jesus Christ born?” The Rabbi replied Bethehem! The old man just shook his head and said, “I knew it was in Pennsylvania some place?” The Christmas story cannot save us but Jesus Christ can! Merry Christmas!
