Christmas & Taxes! Luke 2:1-7

The Roman Emperor Caesar Augustus got up on the wrong side of the bed one morning and decided the whole world should be taxed! This taxing was first made by Cyrenius governor of Syria! They must have been Democrats! So poor Joseph had to get on his donkey (hybred vehicle), along with his pregnant wife Mary and ride down to Bethlehem! Mary was also taxed along with Jesus still in her womb! The politicians played an important role in getting Jesus down to Bethlehem to be born fulfilling many Old Testament prophecies! Then another politician named King Herod who wanted to kill the baby Jesus caused them to flee down to Egypt for a couple years to fulfill more prophecy! Then after Herod died they moved to Nazareth where Jesus became known as the Nazarene! So the good bad and ugly of politicians helped to complete God’s promise of a Savior to the world! Many politicians today here in America try to stop Jesus second coming! Their strategy will help promote his second coming as they play the fool! The best way to celebrate Christmas is to understand no one can or will stop Christ from completing his mission to earth! No one can stop his love for the world even by changing his name to Happy Holidays! Rest in his peace and joy this season knowing all is well because of Christmas and Easter! McKinley Made America Great Again!

William McKinley was the 25th President of the United States. He was also a Congressman and Governor of Ohio. As President he led America into the Spanish-American war and victory! We acquired the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Guam and the Philippines as a result of the war. He imposed tariffs to protect American middle class workers! He was the last serving civil war President! He fought against slavery in the Union army! He entered military service as a private and completed service as a Major in rank! He maintained America on the gold standard! If this would have not been changed later we would not have a 21 Trillion dollar debt over our heads! He respected God and his Faith! Here is a quote from him: “The more profoundly we study this wonderful book (The Bible), and the more closely we observe its divine precepts, the better citizens we will become and the higher will be our destiny as a nation.” President McKinley was assassinated in 1901. Victim of gun violence! Comment: So why do they want his statue torn down? Because he is white, Republican, patriot, American hero, veteran, Christian or he reminds the left leaning citizens too much about President Trump? There is a narrative throughout American culture now to remove our great history and those who led it? Why? If you hate America leave it! Go to Russia, Iran, North Korea, Cuba or any place where American values are not celebrated but hated! Join our enemies of the Cross and our Christ! Elevator Ride!

I have not had such an interesting elevator ride in years! I was in a County office building trying to get a senior exemption at the local tag office. The problem is you have to take an elevator ride up a few floors to the office however there is a court room on this same floor. So I entered the elevator and no one else was in the elevator but then this sheriff with a young lady accompanied him into the elevator with me. She was hand cuffed to this sheriff! After the elevator door closed she started in on the sheriff! You no good bastard! You S.O.B.! Some words I cannot repeat! Then she said over and over again she was going to call the governor! I could not help myself and I told her she should call President Trump! She told me all he could do is fire my butt! James

Tribute To America’s Greatest!

These fallen hero’s represent the character of a nation who has a long history of patriotism and honor and a nation who has fought many battles to keep our country free from the threats of terror! The terrorists want to take your life! The givers join our U.S. Military to give their lives to defend you! Jesus said there is no greater love than a man to lay down his life for his brother! So which are you? Taker or giver? What has made America great throughout our history is that we have had a lot more givers than takers! If you think your life is more important than giving it then you don’t value America! Terrorist don’t value life and if you also do not then they will win! Do you value life enough to defend it?
