Jesus the root of Jesse died on the Cross for the whole human race! In history since 33 A.D. billions of gentiles have come to Christ and trusted Him for their salvation! Prayer! Matthew 21:13
Some people think that prayer means asking for things, and if they fail to receive exactly what they ask for, then they think the whole thing is a fraud! Gerald Vann (1906-1963), British Catholic Theologian, Author of 24 Books. Comment: Prayer is really fellowship with God! Fellowship with the Father through His Son! You remember some of Jesus words! Father forgive them for they know not what they do! Father if possible let this cup pass from me nevertheless not my will but Thy will be done! We can pray for the stuff but it will perish one day! I can pray for the sick which is good but they will die one day! The fellowship with our Father through Jesus will last forever! We pray expecting but according to the will of God! All Jesus disciples were martyred except John who was boiled in oil and sentenced to a slave labor camp stone quarry on the island of Patmos where he wrote the Book of Revelation! Some in the church today might think they were out of the will of God because they did not die rich with a lot of stuff? Success is more than stuff! The Gold Standard for success with God is to love others and sacrifice yourself for their benefit! What are our prayers like? Lord I am a sinner forgive me as my Savior! Lord forgive them and forgive me! Do we continue to fellowship and worship God through prayer in Heaven? What is Jesus doing right now in Heaven? He is interceding for the Saints here on earth! Satan has no prayer life and is separated from God! The Old Testament Hebrew word for prayer means to intercede for someone else! Jesus is following this pattern in Heaven today! One of the Greek words for prayer in the New Testament means to ask for a specific benefit from God! Send your Holy Spirit and dwell in me! Whatever the benefit it is to benefit others! Evolution versus Creation! Genesis 1:1

Comment: He tried in vain to reconcile evolution with creation! Here is a quote from Charles Darwin (1809-1882); “During these two years I was led to think much about religion, while I was on board the Beagle I was quite orthodox and I remember being laughed at by several of the officers (though themselves orthodox), for quoting the Bible as an unanswerable authority on some point of reality. I suppose it was the novelty of the argument that amused them, but I had come gradually, by this time, to see the Old Testament from its manifestly false history of the world, with the Tower of Babel, rainbow as a sign, ect., ect., and from the attributes of God the feeling of a revengeful tyrant, was no more to be trusted than the sacred books of the Hindus, or the beliefs of any barbarian.” Here is a quote from John Dewey (1859-1952), “It (modern philosophy), certainly exacts a surrender to all supernaturalism and fixed dogma and rigid institutionalism with which Christianity has been historically associated.” Both Darwin and Dewey were both atheists yet considered the founders of modern Public Education here in America? With theologians jumping on board with the evolutionists it is easy to see how it became a foundation for public education! Creation and evolution are opposed to each other and can never be reconciled! Theologians have tried and we get the gap theory and many other attempts to reconcile! It is like trying to reconcile Heaven and Hell. It is dancing with the Devil. When you divorce God from science what do you get? Junk science! True science will always support scripture! We have fake news today and have had fake science for generations! Darwin came up with a model for our existence however the only way it would work was to exclude God! A fool as said in his heart there is no God! The tragedy here is this false system is taught to our children from primary grades through college! Science has come a long way since Darwin, Dewey and Peacocke! Today we know the age of the earth, planets, sun, moon and stars are all the same age! This fits the creation model in Genesis 1:1. We learn new things from science everyday however without Faith it is impossible to please God! If you trust God and not lean on your own understanding things will work out and you see scriptures validated! The most destructive thing we can do is take Faith in God away from our children! We have requested from President Trump to nationalize school vouchers so that private schools will grow and Faith re-established to our children! Here are some statistics from the Department of Education for 2016. Thirty two million Americans cannot read! Twenty percent of all graduating high school students cannot read! This is what billions of dollars of your tax dollars has accomplished! When the Bible was the text book for colonial America the literacy rate was 98 percent! So where does public education go next? Normalizing and promoting homosexual behavior, lesbians, transsexuals and Islam! Teaching other languages other than English and works overtime to destroy the Jewish-Christian model for living! Israel and your Bible! Isaiah 2:2
Hebrew Translation “And it shall come to pass in the last days in a point in time and place that the Mountain of the Lord’s family household, race and descendants shall be established certain and fixed that the Head or Chief Leader shall be exalted above the hills and all the non-Jewish gentiles shall flow into it” Comment: History will always confirm the scriptures! Future events that will become history also will confirm your Bible! Last year 2016 Israel had about 3 million visitors! Isaiah wrote this prophecy about 2700 years ago! Israel has also gotten unwanted visitors like the Babylonians, Assyrians, Romans and others but was because of their forsaking their God! Abraham Lincoln was planning to go to Israel before his assassination! I think all Christians deep down inside yearn to go their on day! Israel will get a lot more visitors in the future according to the Book of Revelation! During the apocalyptic events of the 7 year Tribulation period all the armies of the entire gentile world will invade her! God will destroy these invaders and Christ will rule for a thousand years from Jerusalem with the believers from Heaven and earth! Christopher Columbus had a GPS!
Please? You just quoted from him that he did not use intelligence, mathematics or maps to discover the New World. So what was his GPS? Your Bible my friend! It is hard to make a long story short but I will try! Here is the scripture Columbus banked on to convince the King and Queen of Spain there was more to our world in 1492. He quoted Esdras 6:42. “Upon the third day Thou did command that the waters should be gathered in the seventh part of the earth, six parts hast Thou dried up and kept them being planted by God and tilled, might serve Thee.” Hold it boy? I say boy what in tarnation are you talking about? The Book of Esdras is not in my Bible? First and Second Esdras are Books in the collection of the Apocrypha or Deuterocanonical Books. These writings are accepted as scripture by the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Churches, but rejected by the Protestants. First and Second Esdras are associated with the Book of Ezra in our Bible. Since Columbus was a Catholic this scripture was used to convince him that there was a missing continent and he could find it sailing west! If you count Europe and Asia as one continent since they are a attached land mass there are six continents in the world. Since the Protestants rejected this Book the Catholics had the edge in exploration of the New World! This explains why today South, Central and North America are predominately Catholic! How Did The Apostle John Decrease? John 3:30
John was arrested in Ephesus when his enemies threw him into a pot of boiling oil. However John was miraculously delivered from death! The authorities then sentenced him to a slave labor camp in the marble mines of Patmos! On this island on the Aegean Sea John under impossible odds had a vision of Jesus Christ and wrote the Prophetic Book of Revelation! John years later was freed due to his old age and returned to Ephesus in now modern day Turkey. He died an old man sometime after 98 A.D. He was the only Apostle to die peacefully! Comment: If we will decrease Jesus will increase! Most 21st Century Christians think of decreasing as missing a meal now and then or even a whole day! When you find yourself in a pot of boiling oil up to your neck you could easily think I am having a bad day! Especially when the local natives are cutting up vegetables and putting them in your pot! To be sentenced to a slave labor camp on a remote island under Roman guards in a stone quarry might cause you to think you are having another bad day? Charles Spurgeon described Rutherford’s letters as the nearest thing to inspiration in all the writings of mere men!
Is There a Bible in Heaven? Philippians 4:3
There is an answer to this question and it is found in our Bible! Let us start with the word “Gospel.” This word originally meant the reward for good news! Then it became good news! So what good news? That salvation only comes through Jesus Christ! The next word in this passage is the word “names.” This word used here means the character or reputation of a people! It describes the names of people who are saved! These names are on God’s hard drive and He has more capacity to add more names! God’s hard drive is the Book of Life! This book is not just any book! This book is a Book in Heaven and contains the list of those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior! It is the only Book in Heaven! Will the Bible be in Heaven? It will be only in the sense that it will live in the people who are there! The Bible is for those who dwell here on earth! Remember the Bible is the recorded spoken Word of God! What God spoke was written down! If you believe the Bible here on earth then your name will be written down in the Book of Life in Heaven and that Book will be opened at the Judgment Seat of Christ! Remember the Tree of Life in the midst of the Garden? If you reject the Word of God then your name will be blotted out of the Book of Life in Heaven! (Revelation 3:5) I know what you are thinking? What about John 1:1? The word ‘beginning’ used here means at creation! The word “Word” used here is logos or the spoken word! Now back to Philippians! The word “life” used here refers to the spirit and the soul as distinguished from physical life. (Biology). This position is the highest Blessedness of all His creatures! Now let us put things in perspective here! Paul was writing another letter from another prison in Rome and was commending his financial supporters because he could not earn wages while in prison! Paul encouraged them that they would earn the same rewards as co-laborers in Christ! What you do with your Bible is very important here on earth! It will either pardon you or condemn you! There will be no sinners in Heaven on probation! I would encourage believer’s here that when you take God’s recorded spoken words and repeat them yourselves they become very powerful. If you leave your Bible on the night stand to collect dust it will do you no good! Remember Jesus said to go out into all the world and speak or preach the Gospel. Great prophets hear the word of God and then speak those words! One of our present day examples was Tim Clements! He passed away recently but I knew him because he came to our church in Macon Georgia back in the early 1990’s for a Crusade! Tim prophesized in 2007 that a new president would come by the name of Trump! Then in 2013 he gave his first name Donald! These video’s are on YouTube and you can see for yourself! Your Bible is a tape recorder and has recorded God’s Words and when you replay His Word’s and speak them His Power is released to push back the darkness and at the same time your name is recorded in Heaven! Joshua 24:15
“If it seem evil to reject my authority then make the best choice remembering those who sin hurt other people! Serve either the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites where you dwell now but as for your leader Joshua I declare as for me and those living inside my house we will serve the Lord!” Comment: It is interesting that the Hebrew word for evil is associated with the rejection of God’s authority! It is a choice that leads to the destruction of the sinner and the people around them! The plural word gods used by Joshua refers to idolatry. For those that reject God’s authority they make their own gods! It is exalting self above God! The false gods or idols are substitutes for God that can be controlled by the worshippers! They are puppets on a string! If you have not lived in a culture where idol worship is predominate I can assure you it is a living Hell. An idol can be anything you make it to be! It can be money, sex, fame, evolution, junk science, pleasure, graven images, religion and it is worshipped in place of God! It is self-worship! If you remove God from His throne you will replace Him with something else! The word “House”, used in this passage means those living under your roof! When your children become adult’s and leave home they have to decide if they are going to worship God under their roof! We pray for them! Never give up! My brother-in-law passed on this month! His mother prayed for him to come to Christ all her life and she passed on in 1995. He came to Christ about two years ago! Worship & Service! Luke 10:38-42
Jesus commended Mary for choosing the good part! Let us look at the Greek word good as used in this passage of scripture! It is Strongs #18. It means constitutionally good but not to benefit others! It means profitable! It means to derive an advantage from it. There is an opposite word used in the Greek for good! It is “Harmartano”, Strongs #264. It means to miss the mark or sin! Mary’s sister Martha was serving and wanted Mary to help! There is nothing wrong with serving because it benefits others! Remember Jesus said he who is greatest in the Kingdom of God is servant of all. However in this case we are talking about God being in your presence! Jesus was not putting Martha down but explained to her that Mary her sister recognized Jesus true value! Remember over in the Book of Luke Mary spent nearly a year’s wages on the perfume to anoint Jesus body for burial. Judas put her down for it! How we value people and things is very important! If we are not careful we can overvalue things and undervalue people! If we undervalue God then nothing else we ever value will help us! Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and He will add to us what is needed! Did you value your father and mother today? Did you value your Pastor today? Did you pray for him? I recently stayed in a wealthy man’s house. He is a good man but when I asked him the name of his Pastor he did not know? If we do not value what is most valuable then it becomes sin!
