Blind Sided? Revelation 2:5

What does repent really mean? Jesus asked the church at Ephesus to repent! In fact Jesus asked five of the seven churches in the Book of Revelation to repent! These are saved people! The blind side of sin is it can only look back and not forward! Sin is a Spirit that causes an evil action! It is listening to a voice in your head that opposes the Word of God! True repentance is not just regret for getting caught but a change of heart towards God! Recognizing we have a future beyond our sin and outside of ourselves! God does not overlook our sin he paid a price on the Cross for it! Sin is defeated understanding our forgiven past and promised future! That is why we must forgive others! Repentance is more than the regrets for sin but a willful choice to abandon the sin that led to the regrets! It is more than just sorry! Looking forward to the promises of God and not looking back! To live only for today will lead to sin! To live for tomorrow today is visionary and looks from God’s perspective into eternity! To fly blind is to not take God at his Word! Suicides are all about taking sin on all by yourself! That is what Judas did! Years ago we were trying to help this lady who told us I know God has forgiven me but I cannot forgive myself? We shared with her that then you are making yourself greater than God! Sin is about making yourself greater than God! Satan’s suicide plan for your life is defeated by putting God in his proper place in your life! Christ! Servant! King!

There is no King who has not had a slave among his ancestors! There is no slave who has not had a King among his ancestors! Helen Keller, Deaf, Mute, Blind, Writer, Author.  Comment: When Helen was introduced to Christ and Christianity she said I knew he was with me all the time but I did not know his name! Helen said her greatest pleasures were curiosity and imagination! We were all made in the image or imagination of God! Curiosity is about the awe and wonder of God! She also said the only excuse humans had for being in this world is to help others! In regards for a Texas school board removing Helen and Hillary Clinton from their text books we must remember we should not change history to fit our prejudices! I am not a fan of Hillary Clinton! I would not consider a role model for my children! However we cannot have a Democrat history book and a Republican history book! History must be reported as unbiased as possible to our children! History must not be changed or the history of people must not be ignored! Even though Hellen leaned towards socialism I believe it was more towards a spirit of helping others not overthrowing present systems of Government with revolution! Case Against Socialism Isaiah 62:8

The Lord has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give  thy corn to be meat for your enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for which thy has labored.  Comment: I know what the socialists will say! Well Jesus said to love your enemies! Right? Let us look at the Greek word “Agape”. This Greek word is not found in Classical Greek but is only used in revealed religion! Here is the key to this word used for our English word love! This word when used is not doing what the person loved desires but what the one who loves deems as needed by the one loved! This is central to understanding what Jesus meant! Jesus love is not based on what we want but on what we need! If people wanted Salvation then the whole world would be saved and we could close up our churches and go home! Most people are not in love with God but with the world and themselves! Ever try to sell someone what they don’t want? Like selling a comb to a bald man! However I was blind but now I see! So the Jesus standard of love is to give people what they need not what they want! Socialism is all about people getting what they want! Free stuff! Do not have to work for it let someone else do the work! Theft! Why did God invent work? Work is a sacrifice! God’s whole Kingdom is built on a sacrificial system! Work is a sacrifice! Jesus sacrificed himself on a Cross for us! God worked 6 days in creation and rested on the 7th day! Should he expect less from us? God has made provision for those who cannot work! Work is the only vehicle that brings out our gifts God has given us! We love our enemies by sharing Christ with them! Pride!

It is the eyes of other people that ruin us! If I were born blind I would want neither fine clothes, fine houses or fine furniture! Franklin D. Misdirected Zeal

Zeal is very blind, or badly regulated, when it encroaches upon the rights of others! French Theologian Pasquier Quesnel (1634-1719) Comment: Remember Paul said he had a zeal for God but not according to knowledge! Today as before in history we face movements whether religious, political or social that are blinded from truth and press on running over basic human rights of men! Is Israel Important to You? Zechariah 14:12

As a Christian is Israel important to you or is it a bump in your theological road in your travel? Is it just a wayside inn or a tourist trap? Jesus at His second coming will rule the world from Jerusalem! That fact alone should get your attention? Zechariah’s prophetic ministry began 520 years before the birth of Christ! He addresses both the first and second coming of Christ! Zechariah’s name means, “The Lord Remembers.” An elephant may forget but never God! Zechariah was of the priestly line. How did Zechariah know about nuclear war 2500 years ago? He says in verse 12, “Those that fight against Jerusalem will have their flesh consume away while they stand on their feet! Their eyes will consume away in their sockets! Their tongue will consume away in their mouth!” The Bible goes on to say in verse 13 that those who fight Israel will turn on each other in war! They will nuke each other! Do you vote for and support political leaders who oppose Israel? Do you vote for and support political leaders who strengthen the hands of their enemies? Don’t Miss Christ at Christmas!

The only real blind person at Christmas-time is he who has not Christmas in his heart! Helen Keller (1880-1968) Comment: American culture tries hard to take Christ out of Christmas! Whether through political correctness or our public education system. A news organization interviewed some children here in America and asked them who’s birthday do we celebrate at Christmas? Israel Prepares For An Attack !

Israel believes Iran is involved in the missing Malaysian Airliner! Two young Iranian men boarded the aircraft with fake passports? They also purchased one way tickets with cash? If that is not a red flag what is? As we use our military assets to look for this airliner on the sea bed Israel believes the airliner may be in Iran and hangered. They may go after Israel but I believe they go after a bigger prize! I am talking about us here in America! If you do not know Bible Prophecy you cannot connect the dots! In end times prophecy Russia and Iran will rise in power. Gog and Magog. The Persian empire has united with the Medes (Russia). Look for the old Soviet eastern countries to go back under Russian rule. Western Europe will also fall to Russian rule. Russia will expand both west and south towards Israel. Iran will expand south of Israel and surround her on the south. America has and will continue to diminish in power. The old Roman empire will expand in power and dominance! We have a very weak leader in the white house by the name of Obama who will help to bring these events to pass! This missing Malaysian Airliner will be reconfigured to carry an atomic warhead to America! If you look at a map of Iran the airliner can fly north or east over large expanses of Russia territory for about 75 percent of it’s mission to hit either New York or Los Angeles! After this attack America will cease to be a world power! Then they will focus on Israel. We know from Biblical prophecy God will intervene for Israel and destroy her enemies! No I am not on drugs but Bible End times prophecy is closing fast! The tragic story here among other things is the blindness of our current leadership in America.
