Vision of Heaven! Revelation 4

We all need to look forward and not back! Jesus has prepared a mansion for us there! I find the more heavenly minded I am the more earthly good I become! The more we think about heaven and replace thoughts about the cares of this life the more peace we have! When we understand what God has prepared for us his peace will enter us here on earth! Flesh and blood cannot enter the Kingdom of God! We cannot inherit  heaven in this corrupted body of sin! We have to leave it in the grave! In fact Jesus will resurrect my body after I leave it in the grave! That is what he did for Lazarus! He will do it for you! Think about our new body in heaven? Never get sick or never get old! No sin in it’s members! The Trinity of my mind, soul and body for the first time is in agreement with each other in redemption, purity and Glory! Time will no longer be my enemy but my friend! The God standard is the gold standard! The streets are paved with the stuff! There is a rainbow in heaven! It surrounds the Throne! To remind us of his covenant with man! Only in heaven will your post it note be a rainbow! A trumpet is blowing in heaven! The sound of music! Announcing the King is here! The reality of heaven does not need a Bud lite to drown out reality! Your high continues in heaven forever! No more war and no more conflict! Swords are turned into plow shares! Not a party to celebrate the last victory but to celebrate that future victories are already won! Victory over death, hell and the grave for all that call on his name! Death was resurrected at Calvary into life forever! The light of Christ! No sun is needed in heaven! The God that created the sun burns brighter! His glory is reflected through the beautiful stones of jasper, sardis and the emerald! The rainbow takes the white light of Christ and through the midst of water from the Thrown gives us a colored light show beyond description! The same midst that watered the earth before rain came to the earth! The twenty four elders have a front row seat in heaven! The twelve disciples of Jesus and the twelve patriarchs of the Old Testament! Those that paid with their lives to promote heaven on earth! They wore golden crowns! They cast them down at the feet of Jesus! The crowns were gifts to them from God! They belong to him! They cried out, “Only you are worthy my Lord and my God!” As we look forward it gets better! Out of his throne comes lightnings, thunder and voices! His power is displayed! No one can stand before him! Every knee shall bow! Every tongue confess! You are worthy to receive glory and honor! Only you have delivered me from my sin! No other name under heaven and earth can deliver me! Redeemed by the blood! Seven lamps of fire representing the seven Spirits of God! Seven means completion! His fire consumes and purifies his church! Can you imagine a sea of glass? Your street is crystal glass under your feet! Complete transparency! Nothing hidden there! No sin! No darkness! No rebellion against God! No war! The door of heaven is open to us! The four beasts of heaven are not caged animals! The lion lays down with the lamb! The white horse prepared for Jesus to ride back to earth leading the saints is saddled and ready! Death has no place in heaven! It was brought to earth by the fall of men into sin! Even the animals in heaven worship Christ! Everything except sin was first in heaven before it came to earth! The beasts sing, “Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty! You are worthy to receive Glory and Honor! You created all things! Christ has prepared a place for us in Heaven! God has left his light on for you! Will you make a reservation? James and Hamsa Sasse. The Flying Bishop! Ezekiel Chapter 1

Bishop Milton Wright was President of two Bible Colleges and Bishop of two denominations here in America over his career! In the late 1800’s he had travel to the annual Bishop’s Conference. His son Wilbur drove him to the train station by horse and buggy. He boarded a steam engine locomotive for travel to the conference. As presiding Bishop things went well at the conference except for one crazy Pastor who had visions of men flying in machines! This Pastor disrupted the conference with his loud outbursts about this vision. Bishop Wright put this Pastor on probation and warned him he would not tolerate weird behavior in our denomination! When Bishop Wright got home he explained to his son’s Wilbur and Orville the strange vision this Pastor had at the conference! By the way boy’s what are those strange contraptions you are assembling in our barn? Boy’s please tend to your farm work and take care of our horses, cows, pigs and chickens! Boy’s our barn is starting to look like a machine shop? One thing I have learned for over 50 years of Bible study is that what we see on earth first existed in Heaven! The key in life is how do we get back to Heaven? There is only one way but I will let you do your homework and study your Bible and figure it out! Read your Bible it is “Front Page News!” Thankyou. Hear It and Practice It ! Matthew 7:24-27

Here Jesus gives the final benediction. Jesus demands and compels us to take the narrow gate, produce the right fruit and make the right choice! He required of us that we build on the right foundation. We are to examine ourselves and practice Holiness. Jesus repeats these requirements a second time because they are so important. Jesus was talking to believers not non-believers. The rain, wind and storms will come to us all. Good and bad days are ahead. The wise build on the rock and the foolish on the sand. If we build on the right foundation we will thrive through the storm. We have great days ahead! We can feel His Blessings! The disciples were passionate. They did great things! There were glorious days and there was also trouble. Eleven of His disciples were martyred! One was imprisoned on a remote island in a cave. John 16:33 — Peace and Tribulation? Jesus has come to give us peace. The world gives us trouble. Jesus has overcome the world! Stay strong and keep the Faith. Nothing shall shake you! The place of stability in Christ leaves no terror. The unstable world leaves us with fear. Love and fear are opposites. How do we practice words? We practice them by doing them. Action! Breath in His Holy Spirit. Get saturated with the Gospel! Breath out and go do His Word. Are you receiving but not giving? Gandhi said,” I like your Christ but not His followers! ” Christ’s followers cannot save Gandhi but Christ could! James 1:27– Pure religion is to take care of widows and orphans. Also keep your heart pure. Find some widows and orphans! Get busy. Do! Act! Along life’s path do His Word. Do you have a vision? That vision will deceive you if you are not doing His Word! A medical doctor is useless unless he is practicing his knowledge! Luke 8:15– There are four types of soil. The seed is the word. Good soil is a pure heart. Hear His word and do something about it. Hear it, retain it, talk about it and do it. Cares of the world will choke the word. Know the will of God and cooperate and do it. Good work does not earn our salvation. But the good works help to mature us. Put your hands and feet to His Word. The Bible is a living, breathing document. The Holy Spirit puts boots on the ground through you! Live out your revelation. Matthew 7:28– Jesus taught as one having authority. It is not about Plan A or Plan B. Make disciples teaching them to obey me! Christ will be with you always even to the end of the ages. Have a secure place and build on the right foundation. What are you building your life on? Is Everything On The Table?

Do not buy what you are not willing to give away! Otherwise things will have you. Do not live for things. Live for Christ. Sometimes examples always help us. Since moving back to Cololrado we have learned of a story of an old gold miner who lived in Colorado Springs. His name was Winfield Scott Stratton. He knew danger and tough times for 17 years wandering the Colorado mountains in search of gold. He finally found it in 1891 on the west slopes of Pikes Peak. His Independence mine made him a millionaire. One hundred years later the house his gold built stands as a memorial to his work and name. The Myron Stratton home off Nevada avenue, named after his father, is one of the more venerable institutions created by one of the most enduring acts of philanthropy! It opened in 1913, in accordance with Stratton’s will, as a free home for the poor who were without means of support and who are physically unable by reason of old age, youth, sickness, or other infirmity to earn a living. Today in Colorado Springs we have another man with the same God given vision! His name is Pastor Brady Boyd at New Life Church.
