To destroy Christianity, we must first destroy the British Empire. Karl Marx Comment: Karl Marx is one of the founders of socialism and communism! He was a Jewish atheist and produced an ideology opposed to Christianity and capitalist democratic governments! China, Russia and North Korean and Cuba would be examples of Marxist states! Why was the British Empire such a threat to him and his political ideology? At one time in history England was the hub of Christianity! Their mission field as Christ commanded was the entire world! The sun never set on Britain! Britain ruled the waves! The greatest evangelists in the world came out of Britain! Richard Baxter and the Puritans! John Newton who helped abolish the slave trade! John and Charles Wesley and the Methodist movement! George Whitefield! Charles Spurgeon and Johnathan Edwards! The founding of America began with the Puritans landing at Plymouth Rock in `1602! I was a missionary in India for 3 years where Britain ruled over 200 years! So I would talk to the local people about the British rule of India. The local people told me they were thankful for them putting in the rail systems and for the electric grid in India. However what they were most thankful for was bringing the Gospel to India! These Gospel workers turned us from darkness to light one told me! When we look at England today in the 21st Century what has happened? The mayor of London is a Muslim! The old English churches are either warehouses or Mosques! England joined the EU with no borders! The illegals flooded into England! The Muslim invading armies no longer carry weapons of war but refugee status! Obama let over 6 hundred thousands Muslims into America as President! Obama is a smart Muslim! When he pulled us out of Iraq he knew millions of Muslim immigrants from the ensuing war would flood into Europe! Why is the political left in love with Islam? Because they are the military wing of the Democratic party! Marx could not be happier! If Christianity is defeated then socialism and communism will replace it! America’s biggest enemies are socialist states! Jesus was a colonialist! He said to go out into all the world and preach the Gospel! When Britain did this they were the greatest empire on earth! A news agency (Fox News), reported today that Pope Francis told a gay man that God loved him and that God made him gay? We all were made in the image of God but we cannot make God in our image! That is called idol worship! I have no problem with the Pope telling him that God loves him! Jesus the Son of God went through a bloody six hour crucifixion on a Cross for our sin! Jesus did not go to the Cross for us to retain our sin! In the old days people would say the devil made me do it! But today some say God made me do it! Blame it on God? If you read your Bible you will see that God did not make us sinners! We chose sin! Morality is about choices! God gave us a free will to chose right or wrong! Satan deceived the human family into choosing sin! God have us the remedy at the Cross! We cannot blame God for our sin? Put the blame where it belongs! On Satan! Why did Jesus tell us to rebuke Satan in His name? We are still responsible for sin but God has made a way of escape through the blood of His only Son Jesus Christ! We must repent of sin not blame it on God! Sometimes organized religion gets it wrong! That is why we must know the Bible cover to cover! In these last days you will be lead astray if you do not know the Word of God! If the Bible contradicts any religious leader then go with the Bible! Does not matter the cost to you! Jesus paid it all. Remember what Satan told Eve in the Garden of Eden? Surely God has not said you cannot eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil? You will not die! The Joy Set Before Him! Hebrews 12:2
What is the difference between love and law? Jesus came to fulfill the law though love! If the only God you know is law then your attitude is I HAVE to obey and keep the Commandments! Even though you are miserable you have to do your duty! We must be in church on Sunday and keep the Sabbath! When we discover the love of God through Christ our attitude changes about worship! Now I WANT to keep the Commandments! I want to please God! He loves me and I do not want to disappoint Him! I love Him because He first loved me! I obey out of love! My attitude now is to love other’s as He has loved me! I take joy in suffering for other’s as He suffered for me! My present and future is in Him so I no longer have to store up stuff for myself! I can joyfully share what I have with other’s! I no longer have to store up anger, hate and worry to be released on other’s for He has taken it away and given me love to replace it! I am free now to do the Father’s will. Jesus endured the Cross with joy! Why? Because He loves you! He knew the return on His sacrifice would redeem billions of souls! However had the return only been you He would have done it! The same joy is available to you but you must forsake the things that are taking your joy away and take up your Cross and follow Jesus! Except for Jesus everyone is a barbarian! You cannot make yourself Holy but Jesus can! Crucify Him was also your cry from your mother’s womb! You and I sent Jesus to the Cross! Religion crucified Jesus and religion today persecutes Jews and Christians! Repentant sinners have come to recognize there is no power within men to change their wicked ways only Christ has the power with love to change the heart! Atheists and world religions have one objective! That is to frame an ideology where men do not have to change their moral behavior! If you believe there is no God then you do not have to change your behavior! You have no one to answer to! If you kill and murder in the name of religion you try to use God to justify your sin! Christ has come to save you from yourself and others! Like Barabbas you should have gone to the gallows but were set free as Christ paid your penalty! Christ without sin took your sin on the Cross! Accursed Thing? Joshua 7:1
What is the accursed thing? Is it something I had for breakfast? My wife’s cooking? Fast food? It will help you to go back to the Hebrew root word to help understand this. I would suggest you get a Hebrew-Greek study Bible if you want to dig deeper in the Scriptures! According to the Hebrew word this is something devoted to religious use. Some consider this word to have a contradictory element because it can also be something devoted to destruction! So something accursed is either set apart for destruction or set apart to be devoted to God! During the conquest of Canaan the Jews set aside the spoils of war for religious use. That is the silver, gold, bronze, iron and the animals were devoted to religious use. The idea here is since God has given us the victory in war the spoils belong to Him! Much like the tithe and offering today is given to God because He has given us the victory over sin, hell and death! So after crossing the Jordan River in a miraculous way they defeated the first city Jericho in another miraculous way! A man named Achan from the tribe of Judah and his family got greedy and stashed some of the gold from the spoils in his tent! God got angry and in the next battle for the city of Ai Israel got defeated. Joshua went to the Lord and the Lord revealed to him there was sin in the camp! Joshua went through every tent and found the offender! Achan and his family were stoned, burned and buried in the Valley of Achor! Is your life set apart for God or for destruction? What you do with Jesus Christ will answer that question? If you accept Jesus Christ your life will be set apart for Him! If you reject Christ then your life is set apart for destruction! The choice is yours! God will not send you to Heaven or Hell without you deciding! He will not force His will on you! Love demands a choice! So it is up to you! Victory or defeat? Heaven or hell? Would you like a beautiful wedding under the ocean sky? Let your colors be selected by your Creator! Let us begin with a turquoise sky contrasted by a white sand beach. Decide your water colors depending on the time of day. As the sun rises and sets over this occasion let the orange ball of light speak of eternity as it’s color spectrum dances in your mind. Let the sound of waves provide your music. Even the hermit crabs will come out of their homes and see this occasion. The clams will clap their shells in approval. The sea gulls and pelicans will get a bird’s eye view. They may even take a day off from fishing. The dolphins will break the surface to catch a glimpse. A sea foam green carpet stretched from the gazebo to the water will provide continuity. A guest book for surfers and beach bums would be polite. A bare foot dance in the sand would be down to earth. When the crabs come out to dance with you things are getting right. Let your gown, slippers and jewelry match your creation. Sea food should be on the menu. Let your wedding cake match your neighborhood. Let your mind with the creativity God has given you compliment your Creator! Please do not forget your departure time for your cruise ship.
