Before & After! Isaiah 11:2, Revelation 4:5

Isaiah has a picture of Heaven! He has a vision of our Messiah in Heaven hundreds of years before his incarnation to earth at Bethlehem! The six spirits of God are resting on Christ making the number seven a sign of completion! Revelation chapter four is the same picture in Heaven of our Messiah except this is after his ascension from earth back to Heaven! However in verse 5 we see thunder and lightning which represents judgment! Christ here in Revelation is preparing for his second coming back to earth to judge the living and the dead! His first coming was as a lamb or sacrifice but his second coming he is the judge of all. Judgment to those that have rejected his sacrifice for their sin! Jesus first coming was as a lamb but at his second coming as a lion! The Holy Spirit is the active agent in Heaven and on earth! A crucial part of the Trinity! The Holy Spirit came upon Mary to impregnate her with our Messiah! When Jesus was baptized by John in the Jordan River the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus! This is why baptism is an important ordinance of the church! Then when Jesus ascended back to Heaven he promised to send his Holy Spirit to his church at Pentecost! Jesus role in Heaven was different before his incarnation! His role on earth was different! At his second coming his role will be different! Holy Ground! Exodus 3:5

Take off your shoes Moses! No shoes allowed! Sometimes when you go into a business they post a sign on the front door that says, “Must wear shoes.” After the 9-11 Muslim terror attack on us you have to take your shoes off at the airport! Not in respect for Islam but to try to prevent them from blowing up your flight! Let us look at the word “ground” in the Hebrew. It is the word “Adamah” which is Strongs #127. Do you see a clue here? Do you see the word Adam here? God’s first created human being on planet earth. Adam was formed out of the ground! He was created out of the dust of the dust of the earth! The top soil produces the entire agriculture products for us to exist! In fact all the elements in the human body are found in the soil of the earth! The plants, tree’s and animals take the elements in the soil that we eat to replace the lost elements in our bodies! The name Adam means ruddy or a red brown color. It is the color of fermented wine. The curtains in the Jewish Temple were this color. Remember when you walk across the ground you were made of this stuff! Ashes to ashes! Dust to dust! Your physical body was joined together with God’s Spirit! You are created in the image of God! This is why the 6th Commandment  says you shall not kill. Jesus is the second Adam sent to redeem us! God became flesh but this time to atone for the failure of the first Adam! The ground that Moses walked on produced man !  When we are buried at death back to the ground we go! The grave could not hold Jesus Christ! He defeated death and the grave! No mortal man could do this only God! The ground produced humans but not redemption! Only if the sin within us is defeated can death be defeated! The resurrected Christ promised to raise us from the dead! The angel or pre-incarnated Christ could live in the flames and not perish because he is the judge of all.  Do you want to draw near to God? Then your sin must be covered in the blood of Jesus Christ! Then you can draw near to God and then he will draw near to you! In April of 1912 a ship sank below the waves of the Atlantic ocean! Those men that stayed with the Titanic sang their last hymn on earth with a full orchestra! The name of the song was, “Nearer My God to Thee!” The purpose and journey of our life while on this short life here on earth is to draw near to God! Infinite Versus Finite! Isaiah 46:10

“Declaring and bringing forward the end or future rewards from the beginning or first with regard to order, rank and time; from the ancient times or front of place that are not yet done, saying, my counsel or wisdom and advice shall stand and I will accomplish my delightful pleasure with affection.” Comment: The word end used here in Hebrew means future rewards! Like the resurrection from the dead! The word beginning in the Hebrew also has a fascinating meaning! It means first in order, rank and time! This same Hebrew word is the first word used in the Bible recorded in Genesis 1:1. In the beginning God created…… God expressed His character here in creation! The words ancient times means the position of the front of a place that is not yet done! Then God said my counsel, wisdom and advice will be accomplished with affection! Remember what Jesus said? I am the first and the last! The Alpha and the Omega! Jesus said He was before the beginning! Jesus always was and always will be! He is eternal. Remember in the beginning was the Word? He was before creation! What was His pleasure with affection! The birth of His Son Jesus Christ into the earth! What was God’s affection! To redeem His creation from sin! Whether you recognize it or not your future is in God’s hands! He placed His hands on a Cross for you! Could you not fold your hands in prayer to Him? Why not begin with Him and end with Him! Cast Your Vote! 1 Samuel 8:4

Samuel made his son’s judge over Israel when he was old. However his son’s took bribes and loved money more than God! Their judgments were perverted! The Jews got fed up and wanted a King! They were going to take their chances with a political leader rather than a Priest! So they got Saul! As elections loom over America we try our best to find someone better than the last guy! Every four years our hopes are dashed! Surely the next guy will be better? Hope and change? No thank you! I would remind our voters there is only one Prophet, Priest and King! His name is Jesus Christ! He has been running for election for 2000 years! There is only one who is both God and man! He is not a democrat, republican or dictator! He rules in love! He sacrificed Himself for you! Usually politicians sacrifice you for their gain! He went voluntarily to the Cross for you! He is returning to redeem this lost world! A vote for Christ will frame your eternity! A vote for the world will separate you from Christ for all eternity! Your eternity can begin today with Christ! The choice is yours! James and Hamsa Sasse. “I AM That I AM” Exodus 3:14

The Hebrew word, “Hayath” means to exist, to be, to become, to happen, to come to pass and to be done! An important point here is the word is a verb and not a noun! The name represents action! The word suggests the timelessness of God who is the foundation of all existence. In Revelation 1:4, it is said of Christ, “Him which is, and which was, and which is to come.” Jesus said in John 8:58, “Before Abraham was, I AM.” This Greek word, “Eimi” for “AM”, is also a verb of existence, to be and to have existence. Garage Sale!

The scripture reference for this word study is First Corinthians Chapter 15, Verse 4. The word or phrase we are going to study is “Rose Again”. The Strongs Number is 1453. The Greek Word is Egeiro. This word means to waken, idea of collecting one’s faculties or rouse from sleep. The base word for this word is Strong’s Number 58. This Greek word is Agora.This word means to gather together as in a town square. It means to meet together in a market place where things are exposed for sale! Also where assemblies of people met to conduct public trials. Commentary; Never forget our sin was up for sale! Satan offered Jesus all the Kingdoms of this world if He would bow down and worship him! In America we have garage sales. We take the worthless things off the floor of our homes and raise them up on a table to sell. People actually will come and pay money for these worthless junk! We were worthless in our sin yet Christ purchased our sin with His own Blood! His life for ours! He paid the ransom to redeem us from our sin! In the phrase, “Rose again”, we find the word Rose.
