Jesus Return with Signs! Luke 21:25-27

Verse 25: “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars, and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.” Comment: What are signs? Are they like signs along the road giving us directions? The word translated from the Greek means miracles! Like the star over Bethlehem! Signs are miracles which lead to something out of and beyond themselves! They are miracles which have a ethical and moral purpose! These miracles are not so much for what they are but for what they point too! These miracles indicate the Grace and Power of God in the higher Spiritual world. The word earth used here by Jesus means the part of creation that is man’s domain and the history transacted between God and man. What about perplexity? Is it Washington D.C.? It really means a quandary where there is no way out! So we have miracles, distress of nations and perplexity. Jesus wants us to focus on looking up to Him for the evidence of His signs and wonders! God is really saying through the solar eclipse coming that He is in control of all events and confirms those things to us with his miracles! Jesus is saying I will do the miracles in your life that are needed to sustain you and give you the victory over this fallen world! He wants us to look up not down! Look ahead not back! Is There a Bible in Heaven? Philippians 4:3

There is an answer to this question and it is found in our Bible! Let us start with the word “Gospel.” This word originally meant the reward for good news! Then it became good news! So what good news? That salvation only comes through Jesus Christ! The next word in this passage is the word “names.” This word used here means the character or reputation of a people! It describes the names of people who are saved! These names are on God’s hard drive and He has more capacity to add more names! God’s hard drive is the Book of Life! This book is not just any book! This book is a Book in Heaven and contains the list of those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior! It is the only Book in Heaven! Will the Bible be in Heaven? It will be only in the sense that it will live in the people who are there! The Bible is for those who dwell here on earth! Remember the Bible is the recorded spoken Word of God! What God spoke was written down! If you believe the Bible here on earth then your name will be written down in the Book of Life in Heaven and that Book will be opened at the Judgment Seat of Christ! Remember the Tree of Life in the midst of the Garden? If you reject the Word of God then your name will be blotted out of the Book of Life in Heaven! (Revelation 3:5) I know what you are thinking? What about John 1:1? The word ‘beginning’ used here means at creation! The word “Word” used here is logos or the spoken word! Now back to Philippians! The word “life” used here refers to the spirit and the soul as distinguished from physical life. (Biology). This position is the highest Blessedness of all His creatures! Now let us put things in perspective here! Paul was writing another letter from another prison in Rome and was commending his financial supporters because he could not earn wages while in prison! Paul encouraged them that they would earn the same rewards as co-laborers in Christ! What you do with your Bible is very important here on earth! It will either pardon you or condemn you! There will be no sinners in Heaven on probation! I would encourage believer’s here that when you take God’s recorded spoken words and repeat them yourselves they become very powerful. If you leave your Bible on the night stand to collect dust it will do you no good! Remember Jesus said to go out into all the world and speak or preach the Gospel. Great prophets hear the word of God and then speak those words! One of our present day examples was Tim Clements! He passed away recently but I knew him because he came to our church in Macon Georgia back in the early 1990’s for a Crusade! Tim prophesized in 2007 that a new president would come by the name of Trump! Then in 2013 he gave his first name Donald! These video’s are on YouTube and you can see for yourself! Your Bible is a tape recorder and has recorded God’s Words and when you replay His Word’s and speak them His Power is released to push back the darkness and at the same time your name is recorded in Heaven! Suffering and Success! Acts 9:15-16

It seems that everyone is trying to show the world how successful they are! The American dream! Mansions, land, gold, money, private jets, limo’s, fame, status and the rest of the vanities! However though everyone wants it there is a problem? Success tends to put the spotlight on us rather than God! Our failures can put the spotlight on Jesus rather than us! God delivered me from the death bed! Jesus raised me from the dead! I was a street person but now He has given me a family and a home! No one else ever cared for me like Jesus! He loved me when no one else would! The disciples were afraid of Paul and rightly so but Jesus told them that Paul was going to be a great leader in the church and suffer many things for my name! In my weakness i find His perfect strength! Much of the modern church has adopted the ways of the world! Then they wonder why there is no power to do the things Jesus commanded them to do? Darwinism and World War II

Charles Darwin Quote: “I could show fight in natural selection having done and doing more for the progress of civilization than you inclined to admit. Remember what risk that the nations of Europe ran, not so many centuries ago of being overwhelmed by the Turks (Muslims), and how ridiculous such idea’s are now! The more civilized so called caucasian races have beaten the Turks hollow in the struggle for existence. Looking at the world at no distant date, what an endless number of the lower races will be eliminated by the higher civilized races throughout the world.” There were many aspects of Hitler’s ideology but he had a racial doctrine resting on the platter of Social-Darwinism! Mussolini Dictator of Italy asserted there was a “natural law” for stronger people to subject and dominate “inferior people.” Mussolini claimed the world was divided into a hierarchy of races and history is nothing more than a Darwinian struggle for power and territory between the racial masses. He believed science proved there was no God and that the historical Jesus was ignorant and mad! Now a quote from Stalin’s Russia by Francis B. Randall: “Stalin remained all his life an admirer of Darwin! His theories seemed so exiting to Stalin as a youth! Stalin claimed Darwin had taught him that all things move progressively in an evolutionary determination! More revealing however was how social Darwinism was implicitly applied during his reign purging 20 million people! In the 1930’s Japan developed a death culture which had a profound effect on the Japanese armed forces in the Pacific War (1941-1945). As a result the government directed a propoganda campaign after the overthrow of the Shogunate in 1868, the ruling military cliques restored the Imperial system of government which placed Emperor Meiji as the Godhead central to the Constitution and spiritual life of the Japanese nation. Then a bastard Bushido cult emerged. It combined with Social-Darwinian belief in Japan’s manifest destiny was to dominate Asia! The result was a murderous brutality that became synonymous with Japanese treatment of prisoners and conquered civilians! Francis Pike. Conclusion: Darwinism played a major role in the ideology of the Axis power and Russia in World War II. It resulted in a total loss of life both military and civilian of about 70 million people! Darwinism is taught in our public schools and public supported colleges across America! It is taught and masked as science? It is really an atheistic ideology that has replaced the teachings of Christ in our school systems! Destruction of Western Civilization!

Europe is no longer Europe, it is Euabia, a colony of Islam, where the Islamic invasion does not proceed only in a physical sense, but also in the mental and cultural sense! Oriana Fallaci (1929-2006) Comment: She was a wise woman for she could see the hand writing on the wall. However she did not live quite long enough to see an American President come to power that would power Islam to defeat America and Western civilization! As the millions of Syrian, Iraqi and North African Muslim refugee’s pour into our cities the stage is being set for a civil war in America and Europe! If the Christian’s will rise and fight we may save America if not the Islamists will take over! Hall of Fame! 1 Kings 17:1

Is there a Hall of Fame in Heaven? Who is going to be in it? Will you be in it or will you be on the J.V. Team? Will God have to enroll you in remedial courses? Will the martyr’s be there? Will the servants of all be there? Some are probably thinking if i can just get my foot in the door! O’ you of little Faith! There is a Faith Hall of Fame! Elijah was a Prophet of Israel who went to King Ahab and told him he was a jerk! Elijah did not worry about losing his 501c tax benefit for his ministry! His ministry was not about collecting money! Great leaders could care less about money but will sacrifice their lives for the benefit of the people! Martin Luther King is one of those men i have witnessed in my life time! King Ahab married Jezebel who was basically a witch! She had a lot of brooms in her closet! They together had raised up an altar to Baal worship in Israel. Baal worship was sacrificial child worship like abortion is today in America! Elijah told Ahab there would be no rain in Israel until this stopped! Remember Elijah and all Israel was going to suffer in this drought! Great leaders are willing to suffer! However God sends Elijah to a brook that feeds the Jordon river and sends a raven to him to bring food daily! After the brook dried up God sends Elijah to a widow and her small son! Elijah asks the widow for food and she gladly obliges telling him she was preparing her last meal so they could all die! God does a miracle and keeps food in her pantry! Then her son gets sick to death and she blames Elijah? Elijah prays and the little boy recovers! The widow finally proclaims Elijah is a man of God and speaks truth! Elijah’s prominence among the Old Testament Prophets is seen in the fact that the forerunner of Christ, John the Baptist, was to come in the Spirit and Power of Elijah!
