All of these conditions manifest today in the 21st Century from no knowledge of God! No perception and understanding of His presence! No acceptance of His existence trying to run the planet without Him! Trying to run your life without Him! Like having all your modern appliances without electricity? Government Shutdown & Roman Empire!
The Fall of the west was the process of decline in the Western Roman Empire in which it failed to enforce it’s own rule! Low taxes helped the aristocracy increase their wealth which equaled or exceeded the revenues of the central government. Isaiah wrote this prophecy between 701-681 B.C. Babylon fell is 539 B.C. The Persian King Cyrus conquered Babylon allowing the Jews to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple. Isaiah also wrote many Messianic prophecies about Jesus birth that came to pass hundreds of years later! Babylon was never rebuilt again even though many tried! The accuracy of the Bible is as accurate as the science God created! You can trust gravity and your Bible! Germany moved from the Martin Luther founder of the Reformation Movement to Adolf? The enemies of America want our history erased and changed! Does God Keep His Promise? Genesis 17:8
Abraham lived about 3600 years ago! God made a promise to him then that he and his descendants would inherit the Land of Canaan! Remember Canaan was one of the son’s of Noah who was cursed by God for exposing his father’s nakedness! So what Empires occupied and controlled the Land of Canaan over the last 3600 years since Abraham? The Empires of Babylon, Egyptian, Hittite, Assyrian, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman (Muslims), French and the United Kingdom! Then in 1948 the Land of Canaan was declared the State of Israel. Since 1948 Israel has had to fight wars to secure her freedom! The still have to be vigilant as they are surrounded by their enemies! God does keep His promises and history and science defend the promises in our Bible! If the Lord did stay the sun for a whole day then this should show up in historical records of other cultures because it would affect the whole earth! The records of the Chinese during the reign of Emperor Yeo, who lived at the same time as Joshua reports a ‘long day’. Heroditus, a Greek historian wrote that an account of a ‘long day’appears in the records of Egyptian priests! Another record in Mexico reports the same standing still for an entire day denoted as ‘seven rabits’, which is the same year as Joshua defeated the Philistines! The historical record of the Aztecs, Peruvians and Babylonians speak of a ‘day of twice natural length’. History and science support our Bible and it is the most dependable literature in existence!
