Don’t Worry!

A wealthy man who had retired decided to go on a cruise to the south pacific! He was elderly and his wife had passed on so he thought it might help him with her loss! Into the second week of the cruise a typhoon hit and the ship began to take on water! The ship sank and he found himself floating in the warm pacific ocean! After three days he drifted unto this small island! A day later another man from the cruise ship drifted ashore! The rich man was not much worried about their plight but the other man was frantic! The worried man walked around the island looking for food and water! When he got back he reported he saw a giant Komodo dragon lizard that almost caught him! He told the rich man the only food on this island is you, me and the lizard! The rich man told him not to worry for he made ten thousand dollars a week! The worried man took off again across the island looking for food and water! He reported back no food or water we are going to die! The rich man again said not to worry for i make ten thousand dollars a week! The worried man asked him what good his money would do us? We could try to start a fire with it! The rich man told him he makes big offerings to his church and tithes his income to the church and his Pastor is out looking for him right now!

What are Sodomites? 1 Kings 15:12

King Asa was one of the few good Kings of Israel. Out of 40 Kings Israel had 7 good Kings! Does that sound like American President’s? King Asa politically removed the sodomites out of land and removed all the idol’s his father had made. So what is a Sodomite? What is an idol? Let us go back to the Hebrew root word. A sodomite is a male Temple prostitute! These were homosexual prostitutes. Like we have in America today! Now this is where it gets interesting! The Hebrew root word for sodomites comes from another Hebrew word. This word means to set apart for Holy service such as the first born male child was set apart and consecrated to the Lord! But the Sodomite males were consecrated to sin and Satan! This is why i believe homosexual behavior is blasphemy against God! What is an idol? When you go back to the Hebrew root word it means a rolling stone! Sounds like a rock band? I witnessed the rolling stones while living in India for 3 years! They put the idol’s on wooden carts with wheels tied to an ox and paraded through the streets! Idol’s are abstract images of who someone would believe God would look like! Man making God! I thought God made man? So King Asa removed the gays and idol worshipers out of the land of Israel. American Pastor’s with very few exceptions do not preach what the Bible says about gays and lesbians? If you added up all the scriptures that the Bible says about gays and lesbians you would think God was homophobic? I had heard some Pastor’s say all sin is the same? Really! What about the unpardonable sin? Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit! If all sin is equal the why not give all felons the same prison sentence? Some Pastor’s say the Old Testament no longer applies? Really! Jesus said that if you love me keep my commandments! Where are these commandments found? The Old Testament! Jesus was constantly quoting Old testament scriptures! Jesus said He came to fulfill the law! Many say the Old Testament points to the New Testament but the New Testament also points back to the Old testament! Why do we have an Old Testament? Shall we rip it out of our Bibles? Why do we not hear any preaching on the unpardonable sin? Should be a hot topic! There is only one book i will ever promote! That is the Holy Bible! Did You Catch That?

In a Hillary Clinton campaign speech she made a remark about abortion. She said that those who do not agree with her on abortion need to change their religion! Who was she talking about? Do you get it? She was talking about Christians! Remember Obama said that the problem with America is her guns and their religion! Who was he talking about? Thirty million Christians did not vote last election! So you got a man who does not like you or your religion and until we can get rid of Christians we cannot have our leftist view of America! Obama has made progress in turning America into a 3rd world country! Hillary will continue the game! Under her Islam will continue to make gains into our culture! Remember Hillary took millions of dollars from Muslim governments while she was Secretary of State and put the money into the Clinton Foundation! She owes them big favors! If elected President she could make good to our enemies and even collect more money to get rid of us! The left thinks Christians and Jews are a big obstacle to progressive idea’s! They cannot completely get their wicked agenda through with Christians in the way! Cultures in history have tried to get rid of Jews and Christians with terrible consequences! Are You Saved? Ephesians 2:8

We looked at the word grace previously used in this passage now we will look at the word saved. So what does saved mean? Saved from what, who, when,through,by and the list goes on! Saved from your boss? They say real joy is putting your milk carton on the breakfast table in the morning and there is a picture of your boss on the milk carton listed as a missing person! Is being saved dependent on me? I can be a good driver but a reckless driver can kill me! Can i be saved from financial ruin? How about working? Still i can be fired or laid off! Saved from bad health? Stop smoking but you could still get lung cancer! Saved for what purpose? Do i need to be saved from people or for people? Saved from a terrorist or for a terrorist? To be saved using the Greek root word in this scripture means to be saved from eternal death! To be delivered from physical death! To be healed and restored to health! To be saved from danger, loss and destruction! Where is the evidence that you are saved? This is the most important question you will ever ask! Where else in the Bible do we find the two words grave and saved used together? Genesis 47:25 “The people of Egypt told Joseph thou has saved our lives let us find grace in the sight of your Lord and we will be Pharaoh’s servants!” The best evidence you are saved is you will be a servant! Is Grace for Everyone? Ephesians 2:8

The word Grace used in verse 8 is connected to other words in this passage such as faith, saved and gift. The word grace does not stand by itself! However in the interest of time we will just cover the word grace here. Grace is many things! It is expressed in a person! We must remember grace is initiated by God! Grace is an act of God manifested in you and me which brings joy, peace, pleasure and gratification! It is God’s favor on your life! He bestows unmerited benefits on your life! At the end of the day grace has pardoned your sin! Grace is God doing for you what you cannot do for yourself! So is grace bestowed upon Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, agnostics and atheists? The internal grace God has given everyone is to know when we have done wrong! Then the product of sin will be guilt! Guilt is destructive unless you know what to do with it! If not you end up on drugs and other mind altering chemicals! We take our guilt to the Cross and receive more grace! Do not try to carry it yourself! I remember a lady years ago asked me if God can forgive any sin? I told her yes! She told me but i cannot forgive myself! I asked her if she was greater than God? To reject grace is to reject Jesus Christ! So then what do you have left? You create your own religious system or ideology to support a defense against grace! It might be secular or religious! It might be the evolutionist who says God has no part in creation of the world! It might be Islam or another religion justified by works that creates murder of yourself and others to get to heaven! It could be a Hindu who creates millions of gods to appease his guilt! If sin can be justified then more sin will follow! When you act in your own name or in the name of a man created god bad things happen! God gave grace to everyone by going to the Cross and being raised from the grave for our justification! God dying for your sin and guilt not by your own efforts! Grace is hard for some to receive because it removes their own efforts and places the burden of proof on God! It is the easyist thing to do but man will complicate by his own efforts! You have to be humble to receive a free gift but to reject grace borders on a idiot! Thankyou. Amazing Grace 1779 AD

John Newton the slave trader turned preacher had only two missions! His mission was to break the hard heart and heal the broken heart! He was so bad before his conversion that he got traded himself to a slave ship for punishment! Newton joined William Wilberforce a British Parliament member to abolish the slave trade in the British Empire! Their work culminated with the Slave Trade Act of 1807. It is estimated that his hymn Amazing Grace is sung 10 million times per year over the past 237 years! His hymn has also been at the top of the popular music charts over the centuries!
