Jefferson on Liberty!

God who gave us life gave us Liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God?  Thomas Jefferson 1774.  Comment: Liberties come from God not government! When I was in elementary school about 65 years ago we used to recite the “Pledge of Allegiance” every morning before classes began! There was a United States flag in every classroom! We would all stand together not taking a knee and recite the pledge with our hands over our hearts as the teacher would lead us! If you know the pledge do you remember the last line of the pledge? “With liberty and justice for all.” Not just for me! Not just for the Republicans or Democrats but for all! Not just for those in political power but to those who put them in power! I have noticed over time that when a culture begins to question God then they question every other foundation and anarchy begins! Against all authority! So what does liberty really mean? What does the bible say? I discovered there are three different Hebrew words for liberty in the Old Testament and seven different Greek words for liberty in the New Testament! The first time word is used in the Old Testament is Leviticus 25:10. The first time used in the New Testament is Acts 24:23. So let us combine these words together and see what kind of meaning we get for Liberty? Liberty means to move rapidly in every direction exempt from bondages and taxes! I suppose Jefferson loved this meaning as thy were planning a tea party in Boston! The less taxes the more freedom the people have! Liberty means to pardon and forgive! Salvation! The thief on the Cross experienced this! It is a judicial decision (Law), with the realization of relief! Liberty is to live as a citizen not a slave! We through Christ are citizens of Heaven no longer a slave to sin! Liberty is delegated authority to turn over or transfer freedom! Jesus paid according to law the price for our sin and has transferred liberty and freedom to us! God guarantee’s our liberty not government! My liberty is not based on me or my government! Interesting Facts About July 4, 1776

Three men that signed the Declaration of Independence were from Georgia. Three counties in Georgia are named after them. The average age of the 56 signers was 35. The American Revolution was started with guns and religion and has kept us safe thus far! What was the temperature in Philadelphia during the afternoon signing? It was 76 degrees! Franklin had a thermometer which in those days cost 300 dollars! The signers basically signed their death warrant! John Adams signed his name in the largest script because he wanted to let King George know it was him! Thomas Jefferson and John Adams separated for 14 years over politics! They both died on July 4th, 1826. Of the 56 men that signed the document 5 were captured and tortured before they died! Two lost their sons in the war. Another had 2 sons captured. Nine more died of wounds from the war. Carter Braxton of Virginia was a wealthy planter and saw his ships sunk by the British! He sold his home and property to pay debts and died in poverty! At the Battle of Yorktown, British General Cornwallis took over Thomas Nelson’s home for his headquarters. Nelson ordered George Washington to open canon fire on his home! Nelson died bankrupt! John Hart was driven from his wife’s bedside while she was dying! Their 13 children had to flee! His fields and mill was destroyed. For a year he lived in caves and the forest! When he returned his wife had died and his children vanished! Weeks later he died from exhaustion. Fifty two of the 56 signers were Christian and some were Pastor’s! This same Congress formed the American Bible Society. The Continental Congress voted to import 20000 Bibles for the citizens of the New America! Remember Patrick Henry? All his famous speech has been deleted from text books except for one line! Here is the complete speech, “An appeal to arms and the God of Hosts is all that is left! But we shall not fight our Battle alone! There is a just God that presides over the destines of the Nations! The Battle Sir, is not for the strong alone! Is life so dear or peace so sweet to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it Almighty God! What course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!” Comment : What has been the biggest effort by the Obama administration over the past 8 years? Where do our Liberties come From?

The liberal wing of the Democratic party and the liberal State run media here in America today have become a referee between the forces of evil and the forces of good! If the good advances too much over evil then they throw a flag and penalize the righteous! They still want some good around to keep the system from collapsing and from loosing their political power while promoting enough evil to mock the righteous! This is a dangerous balancing act that could spiral out of control into anarchy! Here is a quote from one of our Founding Father’s President Thomas Jefferson; “God who gave us life gave us liberty! Wine and Roses when Jesus Returns? Revelation 19:11-21

Not exactly! All of us have to be careful not to cherry pick the scriptures! That is believe the scripture we best like and forget the rest of them! We need the whole counsel of God! Each verse and chapter of the Bible is like a snap shot of God. If you put all the photo’s together of God you get the big picture! How many photo’s are in your album? Remember words form images! We were created in the Image of God! The images you see here on earth were formed by the Word of God! Creation formed by the Word of God! Images can also form words but that is where deception can come from! Have you ever heard of the Jefferson Bible? Thomas Jefferson tore out every page of the Bible he did not believe! So he ended up with a very thin Bible called the Jefferson Bible. How thin is your Bible? The show down between Heaven and Hell on earth is described in Revelation Chapter 19. Yes, Matt Dillon is in Dodge City on main street facing off with a gun slinger! The streets are empty but the buzzards are circling above! The undertaker is watching the fight trying to determine if he has a casket in stock that will fit one of them? The Road Kill Café has just opened in Dodge City! It is gourmet food for the scavengers! Jesus tells Satan, “Heads I win tails you lose!” Remember war started in Heaven and will end here on earth! The war that will really end all war! Are there really horses in Heaven? My revelation of 2014 was that everything we see on earth was first in Heaven! The armies of Heaven will follow Jesus to earth for the fight! Wait a minute here? I do not want to join the Army? My Pastor told me I would die rich and famous? Christ is going to smite the nations and rule them with of iron! What an Evangelism program! Hold it? I thought it was going to be a peace rally with all of us smoking pot? I thought that Jesus was that little milk toast guy timid and shy? I thought I was going to play a violin in Heaven docked on a cloud? What is the supper of our Great God? Who is for supper? The flesh of Kings! The flesh of Captains! The flesh of mighty men! The flesh of horses and the flesh of all men both free and bond! The Kings of the earth get together with their Armies to war against Christ and His Armies! This will be the Super Bowl of Super Bowls! Then the beast or dragon (Anti-Christ), with the False Prophet (World Religious Leader), who did miracles and his followers marked with the mark of the beast will go to a Global Warming Conference! Thomas Jefferson 2nd Inaugural Address 1805

Christian people are free to influence legislation that is in keeping with the moral principles of Christianity and Christian parents are duty bound to see that their children are educated in light of Christian principles and morality. A godless educational system is a dreadful curse to American society, the very idea of which would have been abjured by the founders of our nation.

Now I will avow, that I then believe that those general Principles of Christianity, are as eternal and immutable, as the Existence and Attributes of God; and that those principles of Liberty, are as unalterable as human Nature and our terrestrial, mundane System.
