Old Charley!

It was the summer of 1958. I remember because my parents bought a brand new Ford Fairlane 500! We thought we were in Heaven! We lived on a farm in Nebraska and as kids did not know we were on the bottom end of the food chain! Me and little brother Tommy were out harassing the little birds with our BB guns in the grove behind the house! Mom shouts out the door of our house and tells us grandma wants us to come over and help her butcher roosters! We were excited! Mom takes us over to grandma in our new car! Grandma would pick out a young fat rooster from the flock and then tell us to catch it! The race was on! We had help from my cousin Bill who was two years older than me. Once we caught the rooster grandma brought out the hatchet! It was Jihad on the rooster! We would get tired because we would do about 25 roosters per day! I asked grandma if we could catch old charley because he was really a slow bird! Grandma told me he was too old to eat! Why grandma? Well Jimmy old charley is like a Christmas tree without the lights! He is totally unplugged! Every time the fox breaks into the chicken house charley gets a free pass! Charley struts around trying to look and act like a rooster but the hens don’t pay him no mind! Charley can’t even crow anymore even if he tries! Grandma poor charley! Grandma charley needs a friend! I can be his friend grandma! Yes and bring all his lice into the house? Well i guess charley does need a friend! Why don’t you be his friend! Thankyou grandma! James

77 Virgins!

I had a dream last night! I appeared on a beach on a south pacific island! I was sitting on the beach in a lounge chair under a coconut tree. I was watching the tide come in over the pure white sand beach. The sound of the surf and the green colored ocean water was so majestic. Then i heard music in the distance? This island must be inhabited! The music got louder and louder and then i saw seven beautiful young Polynesian girls singing and dancing along the shore line. They were playing their yukalalee’s and swaying to the music! They wore grass skirts and covered their breasts with banana leaves! Then they came over to me and danced around me serenading me with music and dance! As they danced their grass skirts brushed against my face! All i could see were belly buttons! One of the girl’s gave me a cold glass of coconut juice! The island flowers in their hair scented the air with a beautiful fragrance! I was almost in a hypnotic state! One girl took a banana from between her breasts and gave it to me! I though surely i must have died and gone to Heaven? Then i remembered the Muslims talking about 70 virgins coming to them when they do Jihad! How come i only got seven? Who is holding out on me? I asked the girls how many virgins are on this island? They told me seventy seven? Then they told me there are only two men on this island! You and a Muslim! Then i saw a man running down the beach frantically running from 70 women! The were the ugliest women i had ever seen and they were naked! No wonder they are virgins! The bearded Middle Eastern man began to shout and yell as he passed by us! Allah you son of a bitch! Mohammad you bastard! The girls told me he completely circles the island about every 3 days with these ugly women in chase! I felt sorry for him but i have to take care of my Polynesian girls! Tad Saves Turkey From Jihad!

The first turkey was pardoned on Christmas day not Thanksgiving! Late in 1863 a live turkey was sent to the White House for the Lincoln family to feast on for the holidays. Tad Lincoln, age 10, quickly befriended the bird. Tad taught the turkey to follow him as he walked around the White House grounds. The turkey was named Jack, and Tad fed him as a pet. When the time came to prepare the turkey for the Christmas meal, Tad burst into his father’s Cabinet meetings! He was crying loudly! Tad told his dad Jack was about to be killed and that he obtained a temporary delay from the executioner so he could put Jack’s case before the President! Tad said, “Jack must not be killed; it is wicked!” President Lincoln replied, “”Jack was sent here to be butchered and eaten…I cannot help.” Tad still sobbing said, “He is a good turkey and I do not want him killed!” Abraham Lincoln President of the United States, paused in the middle of a cabinet meeting during the civil war, took out a card and wrote an order for a reprieve! Jack’s life had been spared and Tad raced out of the cabinet meeting and delivered the Presidential order to the guy with the hatchet!

Islam and War India

The Moplah rebellion in 1921, (also known as the Mopla riots) was a British-Muslim and Hindu-Muslim conflict in Malabar Kerala. It involved forced conversion to Islam! There were clashes that provoked arsonists who took to the streets burning and destroying government property! At first the focus was on the British but then turned into a Jihad against Hindus. A wave of a great number of killings and massive forced conversions to Islam swept the region! The most serious acts of violence spread the Madras now Chennai. Source; Encyclopedia Britannica.  Comment: The biggest number of deaths caused by Muslims occurred in North India Centuries earlier when millions lost their lives! Jihad Here In America!

This year Obama wants to bring about 13000 refugee’s from the Middle East! If there are any Christian refugee’s among them I will be very surprised? There is no way to screen these Muslim refugee’s to see if they are Jihadists? Are we going to call ISSIS and find out if they are good people? Remember the Boston Marathon Bombers were refugee’s! The FBI knew of the attack coming on Pam Geller 3 hours before the attack and did nothing? Obama is trying to make good guys out of bad guys by calling them good guys! Obama is trying to degrade civil law enforcement by trying to make them bad guys! It seems that all the recent civil unrest is working for him! I believe Obama never intends to leave the White House! If he can break down civil authority, weaken our military, legalize the illegal, break down our economic system and strengthen our enemies he just may get the job done in the next two years! He is importing terrorists to America through the refugee program! I never thought the day would come where every American citizen must arm themselves! How do you protect yourself? First avoid large crowds! If you are a large church then you need security guards! Even a smaller church needs security! Avoid shopping malls! Buy your stuff in smaller shops or purchase on-line. Athletic events will also be targets! If you have a weapon or get a weapon you do not need a lot of fire power! We never plan to use our weapons! They are for defense only! Avoid automatic pistol’s! The loaded magazine spring will weaken over time and then the gun will jam when you need it! Get an old six shooter pistol and get an extra cylinder. If you keep a weapon in your vehicle have a safe anchored to the frame of your vehicle. Do not keep the safe key on your vehicle key chain! The same goes for your home safe! When storing your weapon keep the cylinder out of the gun frame. This way the weapon is unloaded but can be quickly loaded. You can put a small drop of silicon on each bullet and preload the cylinders so the bullets will not fall out of the cylinders when you move them! If the bad guys have weapons and you do not they will win! If you have no weapons training get some! You are probably saying just pray! There are a lot of Christians walking around trying to find their heads! You may think I am crazy but I see what is coming to America! Your protection of your family is first your responsibility! Police are becoming so paranoid they don’t want to stop anyone! Our Constitutional right of American’s is to protect our families and our nation! Iraq 1941

The Farhud pogrom on Jews in Iraq–June 1941. It was followed agitation by the Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini, perpetuated by a pro-Nazi Arab mob, led by Al_Muthanna club’s al-Futuwwa Arabic-Islamic Fascist paramilitary group. Iraqi soldiers were among the first attackers. Jews were killed randomly, hundreds were injured, women and children were raped in front of their relatives, babies crushed, and children mutilated. The Farhud, the Mufti (who declared a Jihad), inspired Krystallnacht in Iraq, June 1st and 2nd, 1941. The two days of murder, looting, rape and mutilation, shattered this ancient community’s self-confidence, and swiftly led to the exodus of 90 percent of the Jews out of Iraq. Forgive! Why? When? Where? Matthew 18:21

Start your day everyday by saying, “I am forgiven!” Therefore, I forgive you! This truth needs to be reverberating around the world! Go into all the world and preach! Most things Jesus said we agree with. However, it is difficult to live out everyday! Forgive? Seven times? Seventy seven times? We are always forgiven! So why keep score every time you are offended? There are some misconceptions about forgiveness. Some pretend nothing has happened? It is called living on the Egyptian River of denial! Part of the healing process is talking about hurts and pains especially in marriage. Why bring up the past? Maybe so we can talk about it so it does not happen again! Not to shame us but remind us of our failures and need to forgive! Dynamite is compressed tightly together so you get a big bang with very little of it! If we compress our hurts inside of us one day we will explode! The explosion could destroy your marriage! The pain of not talking about it is far worse than everyone knowing about it! It is medicinal to talk about it. Years ago I had a Pastor who was very good from the pulpit but very different away from the pulpit! He was abusive to us and we thought about getting out of the ministry! We left the church and moved to Texas. Forgiving him was difficult and we were counseled to write a letter to him in detail and ask God to Bless his life and ministry! I did write the letter several times and tore the letter up and threw in the trash several times! As I wrote the letter several times the pain within me began to be released! After we forgive do we need to trust again? Violation of trust is a big deal! It is painful! It has harmed us and we want to retaliate! Forgiveness and trust is different. We wish the best for the offender but to trust again? Can trust be earned back? It is very difficult! To earn trust back we must do the right things for the right reasons for a very long time! Here is a visual example. Trust is earned one drop at a time but can be spilled out in one bucket. Don’t kick the bucket over! It takes a long time to fill again! We forgive and do not want bitterness towards someone. They do not owe us! The debt has been cancelled! We tore up the judgments! We do not expect an apology! We have torn up the bill of sale! Acts 7:59-60 Stephen was stoned! Since Colorado has legalized pot some young new members of our church got the wrong idea when I said stoned? I got nods and approval from them then realized the problem! I explained the stoned is a rock! Forgive us our debts and forgive our debtors. Father forgive them was one of those seven sayings Jesus said on the Cross. Stephen said forgive and receive my spirit! How could he say this? Stephen knew he was forgiven! Do not hold sin against others! They do not owe you anything! This is the beautiful explanation of the Remarkable Christian Faith! This sets Christianity apart from every other religion! No Jihad here! We express forgiveness! Christianity has broken through the dark clouds of war! If you forgive much much is forgiven! People who hold judgments forget they are forgiven! We can never forgive more than God does! They do not owe me anything but not an excuse for bad behavior! When we forgive then they do not own us! 1 Peter 2:23-24 Retaliation? They said something about us that was not true? When their ownership of you gets released you get free space in your brain! You now have more capacity! Fill up the spare room with the mind of Christ! Our response shows us whether we have forgiven or not? Deism is one of the oldest religions around. Deism says God exists but is not active in the earth. A big God is not interested in what is going on. So since God is inactive I must act and do His job for Him! God understands who I am and do not have to defend myself! No one owns me or owes me! Leave space for God! Let God set things right! Do you trust God to leave it to Him? If you wrestle with schemes in your mind to defend yourself then they own you! How do I know our dog belongs to us? When you call him by name he responds! If you are owned by someone then they push your buttons to get a response! If God has forgiven you then who can accuse you? Jesus did not retaliate! It is so hard to wait to be seated in a nice restaurant! They hand you this buzzer and you wait and watch people sip tea and enter into senseless conversations while you are starving! They came in the same door some enjoying the good food and others suffering waiting to be served! The same door that allows God’s forgiveness into our heart is the same door that allows un-forgiveness out! Do not be a hostage to un-forgiveness! The tables are filled with people you may not like! Accept the invitation from Jesus at His table as you share God’s mercy with others who are forgiven just like you! Spend the rest of your life serving others!
