From 18 to 21 years old? Most of these high school shooters are under the age of 18! If a young man or woman is 18 and can go into the military and risk their life for their country why should they be denied the right to purchase a weapon! Should we wait until they are 21 years old before they can join our military services? If that would have happened during WWII we would have lost the war! Many young people joined when they were 17 including President George Bush Senior! Had these men and women had to have waited until they were 21 we would all be speaking German and Japanese right now! This is all barking up the wrong tree! Why not reinstate the 10 Commandments back into our public schools? How about one Commandment? Thou shall not kill. The vacuum left by abandonment of Religious education is being replaced with secular education devoid of respect for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness! Who is the Woman? Revelation Chapter 17
It is believed the woman represents a religious system! She has birthed many religious systems! She is not a virgin but has many religious partners! Notice that the woman is drunk with the blood of the Saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus! She feeds on the blood of the Saints! These religious systems reject the Blood of Jesus for atonement yet feed on the blood of His followers! It was religion that killed Jesus and religion that martyrs the Saints today! Sons of God / Daughters of Men Genesis 6:1
Over history three main theories are advanced to explain this. The first theory is the “sons of god” are fallen angels and the daughters of men are mortals. This ancient viewpoint hinges in part on the assumption that Jude 1:6-7 refers to these angels. If this sin is perpetuated by angels then why is man punished in the flood? Christ said in Matthew 22:30 that angels do not marry. There is some difficulty in understanding mortals as descendants of angels and not from Adam.(Acts 17:26) The second theory is that the “sons of god” are from the Godly line of Seth while the “daughters of men” are of the line of Cain. The sin which they are charged is common to the whole scripture, especially the Pentateuch; the intermarriage of the chosen people of God with those who are unholy. How can these men be considered holy when the Bible states only Noah was holy. (Genesis 6:8-9) Why is the “sons of god” not used with this meaning in any other place? Why only sons and not daughters are associated with the line of Seth? The last theory is very popular among conservatives. Recent archaeological evidence suggests that the term “sons of god” was sometimes used to describe kings (Exodus 21:6, 22:8, Psalm 82:6-7) Therefore the ‘sons of god” are immoral kings who use their power to take women and use them at their will. Well pick your pleasure or poison on your choice here? Regardless these were acts of immorality. Who are the “sons of god” today? Who are the “daughters of men” today? God has sons and daughters! Who are the sons and daughters of men today? The sons and daughters of god are those who have accepted Jesus Christ into their lives! Born gain! The sons and daughters of men are those who have only had the first birth or natural birth and not the second birth! Where Does Faith Come From?
The Bible says that God has given every man a measure of Faith! The Book of Romans Chapter 10, verse 17 says; So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. God’s word contains His Faith! So we use God’s Faith to get saved and to perform every miracle that follows in our lives! So Faith comes from God and we do not claim it as our own but use it or appropriate it and credit it back to God for His Glory! 2012 Election Year Tax Issue!
President Obama claims that the rich in America are not paying their fair share of taxes? The facts dispute this allegation! 10 percent of the top wage earners in the United States pay 70 percent of all income tax! 50 percent of all Americans pay no income tax! So where is the fair share? It looks to me like us 50 percent are the free riders or the real bums! What did Jesus say all about this? In the Gospel of Mark Chapter 12, Verse 17 Jesus said, “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and render unto God what is God’s” The problem is Caesar needs to go on a diet! That is why many of us in America are going to try Romney as our new Caesar! For those of you who do not tithe your income to your local church you are putting God on a diet! Damascus
Isaiah Chapter 17 has alot to say about the city of Damascus! Isaiah opens with the burden of Damascus and that the city will be no more in a future event. Damascus is one of the oldest if not the oldest city in the world. It has a history of going back at least 5000 years or more! You could spend a life time studying the history of this city. It has been overtaken by Muslims, Alexander the Great and the Romans are just a small list of total conquests. So how could this city be completely destroyed as Isaiah predicts? Some think atomic weapons with Israel? Hal Lindsey had a good report on this several months ago before any conflict in Damascus itself. Today Damascus is 85% Sunni, 10% Christian and a small minority of Alawi’s. Assad is an Alawi which leans towards the Shittes in Faith but is not really. It is a mixture of things including some pagan religions. Interestingly they are friendly towards Christians! They celebrate Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, ect. The Apostle Paul spent time in Damascus after his conversion some 2000 years ago. So if Damascus goes this year then how? Intelligence predicts Assad will flee to the mountains along with his army where the Alawi’s live and carve out a new Syria. When he leaves Damascus he must stop those in pursuit of him. I believe this is where his chemical weapons come into play. He will deluge Damascus with chemical attacks and his enemies will be gone along with the city! This is one possible way Bible Prophecy could be fulfilled for the city of Damascus. Be alert to any internal warnings to Chistians to flee the city! Your Bible is front page news! Read it! It is Finished!
Man’s work is never done! There is always one more dinner to make, one more bed to make, one more doctor’s visit, one more car to fix, one more class to attend, one more child to raise, one more house to build and then repair, one more hospital stay, one more vote to cast, one more day behind bars, one more probation, one more drug high, one more bill, one more day of unemployment, one more shot to be fired, ect. God’s work has been completed never to be done again! One time, that’s all! Christ on a Cross to give death a Victory! One day soon all our work here on earth will be completed! God has given us work to bring out our giftings He has placed in us! Christ’s work is Eternal and will last forever! The redemption of our soul’s is eternal! The question today is are you going to trust in your own work or on Christ’s work? My work and your work is temporary. His work is permanent! His work is lasting! After I am gone someone else will have to carry on my work! Someone else will have to fix the car, take out the trash, ect. But those who follow after me will have the same opportunity to make a decision for Christ as I have made and Trust His Work! Love demands a choice! You have made a choice about Christ! What is your choice? Either for Him or against Him? Christ chose the Cross for you! A work that will last forever! Christ’s completed work has brought fulfillment and meaning to my life!We cannot be dependent on our own works but on His work. When you leave this world someone else will have to continue your work!
