First & Last? Isaiah 44:6
What did God mean here? We probably have a general idea! Elementary Watson! Let us break the Hebrew words down for a deeper understanding! The word “First”, used here means to be foremost in order of rank! It is like a new year! Remember God instructed Moses to set up the Tabernacle in the first month! Remember Satan’s Kingdom also has an order of rank! Remember in the Book of Genesis (First Book), that the seed of the woman would crush the head of the Serpent! That is the birth of Christ would accomplish this! Satan is the head or first in rank in the Kingdom of Serpents! What about the word last? No one likes to be last! This is an interesting word in Hebrew! It means to follow as facing the east! God is going to see tomorrow! He watches the sunset and will see the sunrise! His days are not numbered! Do you remember something about Jesus saying he is the first and the last? (Revelation 22:13) He said i am the Alpha and the Omega! Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet but interestingly has a Hebrew origin! Omega is the last letter of the Greek alphabet! What did Jesus mean by saying he was the first? From the Greek we learn that he is first in importance! Is he first in your life? What did Jesus mean by saying i am last? According to the Greek it means he is the finalist in rank and time! He is the only guy left standing! He is on the gold metal stand and no rivals! Jesus goes on to say in this verse that he is the beginning and the end! The word beginning used here means he is the first in order of time, place and rank! Remember those hard headed Jews did not get it when he said before Abraham i was! The word end means that he is the goal. Is he your goal? A running back in the NFL has only one objective! He needs to cross the goal line! The Cross of Jesus will get you across the goal line! The word end used here means to a conclusion! What one word would represent the conclusion of your life? Debt? Pain? Sickness? Death? Fear? Guilt? If you prioritize your life where Jesus is first and last in your life these evil spirits will die at the Cross! Remember the scripture that says the first will be last and the last first? Prosperity or Poverty? Matthew 6:11
There are two extremes coming from the American pulpit! Prosperity preaching that says you can get it all if you just believe and the poverty message that if you just abstain from these vanities you will be blessed in the after life! Jesus said give us this day our daily bread! It was not give us more than we need or less than we need but what we need for today! Do not store up or throw away but trust Him for today! Do not worry about the next day but trust Him for today! If you do this you will be able to sleep tonight and the peace that the world longs for but cannot find! Your peace will come from following Jesus and just doing what He told us to do! He is the Prince of Peace!
Suffering and Success! Acts 9:15-16
It seems that everyone is trying to show the world how successful they are! The American dream! Mansions, land, gold, money, private jets, limo’s, fame, status and the rest of the vanities! However though everyone wants it there is a problem? Success tends to put the spotlight on us rather than God! Our failures can put the spotlight on Jesus rather than us! God delivered me from the death bed! Jesus raised me from the dead! I was a street person but now He has given me a family and a home! No one else ever cared for me like Jesus! He loved me when no one else would! The disciples were afraid of Paul and rightly so but Jesus told them that Paul was going to be a great leader in the church and suffer many things for my name! In my weakness i find His perfect strength! Much of the modern church has adopted the ways of the world! Then they wonder why there is no power to do the things Jesus commanded them to do? Are Neanderthals in the Bible? Genesis 6:4
The Hebrew word for giants is “Nephilim.” The word translates a Divine being that co-habituated with women! Most but not all Bible scholars believe the Divine beings were fallen angels! So why would Satan and his followers want to cross breed with women on earth? We know from the scriptures Satan will never repent and salvation is not possible for him and his followers! The reason Satan did this was to spoil the redemption plan God had for man! Only a pure human race could be redeemed! Only God becoming man could bring about redemption! So what did God do to solve this problem? He brought a world wide flood and saved only Noah and his family! This brings a challenge to the church in that science now has developed animals with human blood and organs! There is fossil evidence of humans dying in the flood! These humans are known as the Neanderthal men! The difference between the Neanderthal’s and modern man is about 1.3 percent of mitochondrial DNA sequences. Here are some questions and answers that will help us! How did the Neanderthals go extinct? They died in the flood. Why is there no evidence of a pre-flood man? There is much evidence of pre-flood men! They are the Neanderthals! Why is the Neanderthals genetically distinct from modern man? Neanderthals had only the first genetic reset, but modern man had both the first and second genetic reset! Why do we have his Neanderthal genetic mutations but he does not have ours (modern man). He is our ancestor. Our mutations were developed after the flood, so we have both Neanderthals and modern man mutations; he has only pre-flood mutations! Why did Neanderthals interbreed with modern man? He could not! Modern man was separated from him by the flood! Why are Neanderthals found in such diverse places? The flood deposited them over large geographical area’s. Why is Neanderthals physiologically and anatomically superior? His DNA is closer to Adam! Public Worship! Hebrews 10:25
The message here is to the Gentile-Jewish Christians! It is believed by Biblical scholars that the Book of Hebrews was written prior to the destruction of the Jewish Temple and Jerusalem in 70 A.D. What was Paul trying to tell us? Why should we not forsake public worship? First let us look at Heaven! Do the believers in Heaven forsake assembling together? Is one believer on the golf course and one working a Sunday job? Believers by the billions are surrounding the Throne of God worshiping! Our High Priest is in Heaven! Remember the part of our Lord’s prayer that says, “On earth as it is in Heaven!” Jesus said where two or three are gathered in my name so will i be there!” Satan’s followers are gathered together warring against the Saints and have a congregation in Hell. Paul went on to say we are to exhort and encourage each other! What did Paul mean by the day approaching? Some scholars believe Paul was warning the church of the coming destruction of the Jewish Temple and the city of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. Jesus predicted this! Some scholars think Paul was talking about Jesus second coming! Paul could have been talking about both events! Paul was also warning people who claimed to be Christian yet have forsaken public worship! We are to practice Holiness here on earth! This life is dress rehearsal for Heaven! If we are doing something different than we would do in Heaven while on earth we have missed the Ark! Remember Jesus taught and worshiped in the Jewish Temple! So did Paul. Paul knew that the Christians would be scattered throughout the realm after the 70 A.D. apocalypse! He wanted the flock to regroup and continue worship after the pattern set before them in Heaven! The Incarnation! Philippians 2:6-8 (Greek Translation)
“Who came into existence in the affirmation of human existence as supreme divinity thought it not plunder to be the actual perception of God! And of the same Father emptied Himself and made a clear affirmation of human existence became a slave in a humbled and despised position in the resemblance of a common person! And being found in the figure of a common man He humiliated Himself and became poor and needy to submit to the extinction of life by violence on an instrument of capital punishment!”
The Incarnation! Philippians 2: 5-8
These are the ten creatures science has already created! Genetically modified cattle with human DNA. Human mouse hybrids with freekishly large brains. Rats with human kidneys. Hunanized milk producing goats. Mice with human anal splinters. Rabbit eggs with human cells. Pigs with human blood. Sheep with human livers. Cow eggs with human cells. Cat-human hybrid cells. Comment: Cannibalism could be alive and well at your local grocery store! Normally two species need to be in the same family and have enough generic material for the sperm and egg to recognize each other. That is why a cat and a dog cannot cross breed! The horse and the donkey are in the same family so they can cross breed. It is not necessary for animals to have the same number of chromosomes to cross bread! The horse and donkey have different numbers of chromosomes. However the mule and the hinny cannot reproduce because their sex cells are sterile! So where does this lead us? A science report like this cannot help me but to think of the incarnation! If God did create everything then He is the DNA pool. I would love to have Jesus DNA sample! Because He lives within believers His genes are in us and His love, peace and joy flows out of us! Born again! If God did create man and we were created in His image then we are of the same family and cross breeding would be possible! Most theology says Jesus was 100 percent man and 100 percent God!
