Incarnation in You! John 3:5-8
Here is the definition of the word “Incarnation”, from the Merrian-Webster Dictionary: “The embodiment of a Deity or Spirit in some earthly form; the union of divinity with humanity in Jesus Christ.” Comment: Jesus told Nicodemus he must be born again! After you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior your sin is forgiven then you have a born again experience with God! Now His Spirit rules you rather than the flesh! The Holy Spirit becomes incarnated in you! You then follow Him as He leads you into righteousness! Those that reject Christ receive another Spirit that controls them and leads them away from God! Satan rules their life to destroy them! Jesus came to save us! No one can ignore or escape the incarnation! What Spirit incarnates you has everything to do with what you do with Jesus Christ! Life or death? Judas Iscariot would be one example of what happens when you reject Jesus Christ! Is Jesus God? Philippians 2:6-8
Jesus while He was here on earth positively laid claim to Deity is clear from the fact that the Jews reproached Him with two accusations: first. that He place God on par with Himself—and this they called blasphemy, secondly, that He made Himself God—and in this they thought they recognized the false prophet, although both idea’s merged together in John 10:30-39. Remember our Lord Jesus Christ being the Son of God did not and could not claim to be the Father but He did claim to be God! Even a human cannot claim to be his father but can claim to be a human being. A claim to the sameness of nature of personality in like manner is consistent and intelligible in the case of Divine Sonship of the Son of God but the sameness of personality would be contradictory! But there is a similarity of persons that it would be true that those who saw the Son have seen the Father! Also remember that the Trinity is one Spirit and character and not many personalities! Christ’s distinction had everything to do with His mission here on earth as Redeemer of mankind! Christ is not half man and half God! He is wholly man and wholly God! Jesus prayed because He is a man! God does not pray! God answers prayers through His Son Jesus Christ! If God were to pray who would He pray to? Himself? What is Jesus doing in Heaven right now? He is interceding for the Saints in prayer to the Father! Jesus still has a human nature in Heaven and so will we! We will not be floating on a cloud as a bodiless Spirit! You mean I get stuck with my ugly face for eternity? Do not jump over the cliff yet! Our human bodies are created by God! Male and female! Sin has marred us! God has a fix for our sin through Jesus where death no longer rules us! Your God given identity will not change! Jesus is a man in Heaven as He was on earth! Mary the mother of Jesus is still a female right now in Heaven! You will be much greater in Heaven because sin will no longer influence your decisions! You will live more like you are in Heaven while on earth because Jesus has redeemed you through His Blood! God’s Address? Revelation 21:3
How many times have you changed your address in your life time? No wonder you lost mail. Even the IRS cannot find you! The Tabernacle described in the Old Testament of your Bible was defined as a residence or lodging place. It was described as a permanent stay residence! The Temple was described as a habitation of God’s residence! The Tabernacle was a structure to replicate the worship going on in Heaven between man and God! It was to be duplicated on earth. On earth as it is in Heaven! Great Theologians who lived hundreds of years ago said everything you see on earth was first in Heaven! God did not get brain cramps creating the earth and you! The plan had already been executed in Heaven! What really changed this concept and reality was God coming down to earth as a man yet retaining His Deity! When this happened the Tabernacle and Temple had an address change! It was no longer a structure or building made by hands but now God dwells in human flesh! First Christ and then His followers through the Holy Spirit! So you are His dwelling place whether on earth or in Heaven! This is why Satan wants to kill flesh on earth to remove God’s dwelling place on earth! He does this through Islam and other ideologies opposed to Christ! God has a permanent address living in you! God will deliver His letters to you through His Word the Holy Bible! God has many E-mails waiting for you to read in His Bible! Remember God will never dwell in you without your consent! You were created to worship God! To reject God is to go to the default mode which is Hell and separation from Him! Some have chosen this path but do not be the fool! Wood and Gold! Deuteronomy 10:1-5
God’s rewriting of His law was a demonstration that no man could fulfill and keep the law! Sin built the golden calf! The two tablets of the law were placed in the Ark of the Covenant waiting for the one who could keep the law! The Ark of the Covenant was made of wood (humanity) and was covered with gold (Deity). Only Jesus was fully man and fully God could keep the law and be the perfect sacrifice to satisfy God’s Justice and Judgment! You cannot have gold without wood! When mining for gold you have to have thick wooden timbers to support the mine shaft. Without God becoming humanity (wood) you could never have Deity (gold) dwelling in these earthen vessels! The Cross members of wood supporting humanity dwelling in God delivers us from a lawless life! The Ark of the Covenant shows us that man’s best efforts cannot save us! Only God’s plan and effort will deliver us from our own attempts to reach and dwell with God! We did not go to Him He came to us! In the Book of Revelation it describes the Golden Altar before the Thrown of God! The Ark of the Covenant on earth represents what is already in Heaven!
