The Church Of Jesus Christ Needs To Put In Writing!
Worried they could be sued by gay couples, some churches are changing their bylaws to reflect their view that the Bible allows marriage only between one man and one woman. Judges and courts like to see things in writing. So does our God as He put it in writing to us and gave us our Bible! Do Christian’s Sin? 1John1:8-10, 1John2:1-2
The Apostle John was writing to believers, saved people, born again people who were members of the churches in Asia Minor around 90 AD. Let us start at Verse 8; If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Verse 9: If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Verse 10; If we say we have not sinned we make him a liar, and his word is not in us! Comments: John goes on to say in Chapter 3 that who is born of God cannot sin? Do we have a contradiction here? We will discuss Chapter 3 and do Greek translations of key words next time. John makes it clear in Chapter 1 that we are sinners and need a Saviour everyday and forever! Jesus established ordinances in the church such as communion to examine ourselves! Can You Read Between The Lines? Israel vs Iran
If you have followed news for past two weeks especially news from the Middle East and our President Obama ignoring our only ally Israel who knows Iran wants an atomic bomb to use on them! Obama supports Muslims and really dislikes Israel. Israel sees an opening now that if they wait and Obama is re-elected they will get the same treatment or even worse! Put it in Writing!
Grandpa and Grandma were getting up in age and were forgetting alot of things! Their doctor told them to write everything down so they would not forget. They were both seated on the sofa when Grandma asked Grandpa to get her some ice cream and strawberry’s from the kitchen. Grandpa got up off the sofa to get these but Grandma asked Grandpa to first write it down! Grandpa said no because the kitchen was located in the next room. In a few minutes Grandpa came back and handed Grandma two fried eggs and two slices of bacon! Grandma got mad and told Grandpa he forgot the toast! Source; Pastor Joel Olsteen.
