Abraham Lincoln Commentary: The American civil war was more about protecting our Constitution which required action on slavery! Liberty and justice for all! It was a war of brother against brother and church against church! Along the Mason Dixon Line churches to the north of the line supported the Union and south of the line they supported the Confederacy! The dividing line of the civil war was along our Constitution and slavery! Lincoln along with six hundred thousand men sacrificed their lives over our Constitution! Lincoln believed our Constitution for present and future generations was more important than his life! Today do you think the Constitution is more important than your life? The battles in the Congress, Senate, Courts and the White House and the Deep State is a war between those who want to sacrifice the Constitution for their own political gain to stay in power than those who are willing to sacrifice their own lives for the Constitution! Our young men and women in our military think America is worth their sacrifices! Those in political power who try to sacrifice American citizens for their gain must be removed from office! In the 21st Century church I see an unwillingness to stand for Biblical values in our popular culture! The scriptures are not used to challenge the wickedness in our culture! Talk about Heaven but do nothing in the Church of The Here and Now! Our war is a war against principalities and powers of darkness in high places! The Poor Man’s Tithe! Deuteronomy 26:12
I am sure when some Pastor’s read this scripture they think this represents the level of giving by their congregation! If they do not increase their level of giving I am going to end up as poor as they are! Here is what Tripp’s Complete Commentary says; “Thus does God not only plead the poor man’s cause, (Deuteronomy 15:10-11), but he allots a portion of the 3rd years tithe, not only to the Levite, who is never excluded, but to the stranger, fatherless and widow, as Jerome observed and called it the poor man’s tithe.” Comment: Our Pastor Brady Boyd adopted orphans and I married a widow with orphans. Sodom and Gomorrah Act III Romans 1:27-32
Satan throughout history has tried to prevent the “bruising of his head” by the seed of the woman! The latest political ploy by the Democrats is that everyone except them has a war on women? What an oxymoron this is since they promote abortion and homosexuals! The primary sin of Sodom and Gomorrah was homosexual behavior. God does not have a war on women but Satan does! History has shown us that God does have a war on gays! The next major event of God’s judgment on man was at the Flood of Noah! I want to quote a Jewish commentary about the sin in the Days of Noah; “In the new issue of Inside Israel newsletter (vol.13, No.7), Rabbi Chaim Dov Keller is reported as writing in the “Jewish Observer”: The Midrash (Acharei Mos) tells us that the Generation of the Flood was wiped out only because they wrote marriage contracts between males just as they did between conventional couples. We can better understand the cultural expression “only because” as meaning “the singular primary reason” in importance as the cause why God brought the Flood upon the world at that time in antiquity.
