His great genius could not console him in time of affliction! However the knowledge of God could! Why? Because God created the science! God created us! If we worship God’s creation it becomes idol worship! It will leave you empty! Science is a good thing as long as it does not become your God! The Theory of Evolution is a false science and the most destructive ideology ever known to man! Hitler followed Darwin and drove his ideology to the destruction of Europe! Real Fireworks! John 8:12
Greek Translation: “Then Jesus spake unto them, saying, I am the light of the day that is never quenched! I am the light of the sum of all person’s that have ever lived or ever will live! He that moves quickly following me in time shall not walk in the darkness of unhappiness and ruin but shall have my light in your life, in your spirit and soul.” Comment: Notice Jesus light will never be quenched though much of the world tries to snuff out the light! As the fireworks are going off in our neighborhood it is beginning to rain! This light is temporary and will die with the rain! The word life used here in this passage means the soul and spirit set apart from the physical body! Jesus is speaking to the eternal parts of us of soul and spirit! The first time light is used in our Bible is at creation in Genesis 1:3. The Hebrew word used there is associated with Salvation, prosperity, wisdom and justice! Do you notice Jesus is the fulfillment of all of these characteristics! Our life is to embody this nature of God! Since Jesus defeated sin for us on Calvary the door is open to us to receive the nature of God with all His attributes! Your Best Friend Should Not Be You!
John 12:25 Greek Translation “He that has his best friend as his physical body shall be killed and destroyed eternally: and he that hateth his physical body in this world shall preserve it from danger unto life of the spirit and the soul apart from the physical body inheriting God’s life with eternal value and time.” Comment: Did you notice most of the advertising industry is based around your physical body? It is all about weight loss, hair loss, teeth loss, skin loss, ect. The cosmetic industry is a multi-billion dollar industry! Yet we will all physically die! Does that mean we do not care for our physical body? It means as Jesus said before the Cross do not let you physical body be your best friend! It will forsake you! It will be a corpse sooner or later with no value! We are the Temple of the Holy Spirit! God does not want us to pollute our bodies with sin and corruption! Love God and not your physical body! Jesus was saying death is the incubator for life! The eternal part of us is the spirit and the soul. We need to nourish this as the most valuable! Develop your soul as on a treadmill. Exercise your spirit and your soul! Practice Holiness! Use the time you have as a gift from God to lead other’s to Christ! Read and study your Bible daily! Pray daily! Spent time and money to reach the lost! Use your God given resources to support your local church! For those that make it to Heaven you will not be alone! Neither will those in Hell. Mercy and Consequences! 2 Kings 24:3-4
These two words seem contradictory but yet they compliment each other! You cannot have one without the other! Manasseh repented and found Mercy from God for his sins he committed but God did not remove the consequences of what he had done. (2 Chronicles 33:12-13) For Christ to forgive the world of sin their were consequences for Him! It is called the Cross at Calvary! Physical death is still a consequence for the human family for the sin of our first parents Adam and Eve! If you or i had been the first parents we would have done the same thing! However for those in Christ death is not permanent for Jesus has promised to raise us from the dead as He was raised from the dead for us! Consequences in life are real but not permanent! The joy of our salvation has overcome the fear of sin and death! God’s love has overcome our evil! His love has removed our guilt and shame!
