First when you look at the Greek this woman translates as a married woman! So why did the English translation say just woman instead of married woman? Because the translators use just one English word to translate from the Hebrew or Greek to best represent the meaning! From verse two she is pregnant so we can assume she is married however the woman riding the beast in Revelation chapter 17 represents Satan! She is also married but to Satan! In verse one here heaven is translated as God’s dwelling place which includes the sun, moon and the stars! So heaven is inclusive of God’s creation including us! This woman in her brilliancy is clothed with the sun, moon and stars! The word crown means a conqueror rather than a crown just worn on her head! So who is this woman married to? The number twelve is significant! Who represents the twelve stars? We have twelve apostles! We have twelve patriarch’s in the Old Testament! We have the twelve tribes of Israel. Many believe the woman represents the church for we are the bride of Christ! However some believe the woman represents Israel. Some others believe the woman represents the virgin Mary! She gives birth to the church though Israel. I have no problem with all three interpretations! If you make the church exclusive and end up with replacement theology church history has shown us you can become anti-Semitic then much harm can come to the Jews and God’s Kingdom through the church! Israel is included in the Book of Revelation with the 144000 Jews out of 12 tribes redeemed during the 7 year tribulation period! Studying the Book of Revelation is challenging but there is a special blessing for reading and studying this Book! (Revelation 1:3) Scholars say that there are more references to the Old Testament in this Book of Revelation than any other New Testament Book! Problem is the Apostle John does not directly quote these but weaves them into the Book! Many referrals to Book of Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah and the Psalms! The most important point here is what is God telling you about the prophetic Book of Revelation? You have to read it and study it yourself if you want the answer! James and Hamsa Sasse. Law and Order! 1 Chronicles 9:16
The word shewbread used here in this passage has more meaning than i have time to explain here! The word means to line up in order with two rows of six loaves each. Most of us get the numerology of twelve tribes and twelve disciples! The Hebrew word means to get in line or order to prepare for warfare and to be an expert in warfare! To be a defender of the Faith! Is the church in America in the 21st century ready for warfare? Do we have an organized army with real leaders or do we have a rag tag militia asleep not even recognizing we are at war? That is what happened on 9-11. Do we have a church with no rank, no order, no discipline, no mission, no vision and no passion? We war against principalities of darkness in high places! The table for the shewbread was made of acia wood which does not rot! The wood was covered in gold which represents purity! There was a purple cloth which covered the table and this represented royalty! Then the bread was laid on top of this cloth. Then a red scarlet cloth was laid over the bread which represents the sacrifice! Then a thin skin was laid over the scarlet cloth which represents humanity! Jesus was the royal seed of God who took on humanity and shed His blood as the final sacrifice for the living and the dead! Jesus said i am the bread of life! When you share the communion meal with God next time think on these things! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
Judah Territory! Joshua Chapter 15
Is history important? Without it we have no reference for the future and the promises of God given to us! Without history there is no basis for predicting the future. It has been said that the only thing man has learned from history is that he has not learned from history! Each generation repeats the same errors! History therefore repeats itself. If you go to the ancient Biblical maps of the territory occupied by the twelve tribes of Israel you will find many fascinating facts. Here is just a sampler. Our Savior Jesus Christ was born from the Tribe of Judah. Judah was given territory after the conquest of Canaan. If you study this ancient map some very obvious things are there! The Red Sea completely borders Judah territory. So when Moses crossed the Red Sea with the millions of Jews escaping Egypt they entered the future territory of the Tribe of Judah! The birth of Jesus was in Bethlehem which is in Judah! Now this where it gets even more interesting! Our complete atonement at Calvary or Golgotha was located east of the Road to Bethany and Jericho which is just east of the Kidron Valley. The Romans liked to crucify people along major highways so the conquered population would be able to witness executions so they would not get any idea’s about overthrowing them! Another fascinating fact is the Mount of Olives where Jesus ascended to Heaven and where He promised to return at His second coming is on the eastern side of the city and in Judean territory! These are places of great historical events in Judah territory! God is consistent like the sunrise and the sunset! You can set your clock by His Prophetic calendar and His promises to you are as sure as history itself! Thankyou. James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
Numerology in the Bible!
Moses built 12 pillars on Mount Sinai. Twelve spies were sent out. Twelve stones were set up as a Memorial after crossing the Jordon River. Twelve stones were attached to the breastplate of the Priest representing the 12 tribes of Israel. The Temple involved 12 measurements and furnishings. Jesus spoke his first recorded words when He was 12 years old. Jesus chose 12 disciples. Twelve baskets of fragments were left over by Jesus for the miracle of the feeding of the 5000. In the Book of Revelation there are 12 gates in the city and 12 angels guarding the gates. The gates have 12 pearls. The walls will be on 12 foundations. The 12 Apostles names will be on the 12 foundations. The measurement of the New Jerusalem will involve the number 12. Twelve people on a jury. Twelve months in a year. Twelve hours of daylight and 12 hours of night. Twelve time zones on each side of the hemisphere. What about 12 eggs in a carton? Even the chickens know! The Tree of Life will bear 12 kinds of fruit for 12 months for the healing of the nations. Every number in the Bible has purpose! We even have the Book of Numbers. The number 12 represents perfect government in Heaven and on the earth! You don’t even have to be good at math but still figure it out! God’s word’s and numbers are prophetic! How about the number 666? It is also prophetic! We will talk about this on another blog. Thankyou. James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
Concerned Priest!
A local Parish had a concern for one of it’s members? This Parish had statues of twelve revered Saints; Lucy,Luke,Martin of Tours,Monica,Nicholas, Padre Pio, Peter,Rita,Philomena, Matthew, Mary Magdalene and Michael the Archangel. On Friday’s this member would kiss every statue before leaving. The problem was the last statue before the entrance door(Michael the Archangel), had his right foot on Satan’s head. This man would kiss Satan’s head last of all just before leaving? The Priest cornered this man and asked him why was he doing this? This man explained to the Priest that if all these Saint’s fail to rescue me at least I will have one friend in Hell!
