Winners & Losers!

It seems like over the past three years the Democrats have tried to orchestrate bad news in the midst of good news of a booming economy and other successes both foreign and domestic of the Trump administration! With the 24-7 news cycle of constant Mueller investigation and impeachment news I have had to defend myself by changing the channels on my Television! Do you realize how many episodes of Forensic Files I have watched over the past three years? I decided to go to this program where there was a real crime! I would at least stay awake watching these episodes where they used science to solve the crimes! I really learned about science watching these programs! They were educational! Every time a Democrat would talk about taking my Second Amendment rights away I would watch another episode of Gunsmoke! Then I would go to the shooting range and burn up another box of shells to hone my gun skills in case of a government coup! Then I would read my Bible to see how all this turns out? God wins and Satan loses! I want to be on the winning side of history! I follow winners! Not losers! That is why I follow Jesus Christ! That is why we will vote for Trump again! Judgment Seat of Christ! Isaiah 11:3

(Hebrew Translation) “The Spirit of the Lord shall make Him of quick understanding distinguishing between good and evil, also the spirit of council commanding and executing the will of God with might and discerning knowledge prompted by the spirit with reverence of the Father recognizing He is all powerful.” Comment: Do you see why the Father renders all judgment to the Son? There are two judgments and Jesus presides over both! The Judgment Seat of Christ and the Great White Thrown Judgment! The Judgment Seat of Christ is where all believers go after death! After death we go immediately to this court! The Great White Throne Judgment is where all unbelievers go. Everyone will get a fair hearing in the court and judgment in righteousness is rendered. We as believers are pardoned from sin because we accepted the blood sacrifice for our sin. Jesus will either be your Judge or your Savior! The decision is up to you! From this verse in Isaiah we see Christ knows everything about us! We cannot hide our sickness from Him! God knows our every thought and action! No excuses and no escape! Why should we want to escape His love? We can hide from men but not God! If every human knew this about Christ crime would stop overnight! My Bible says if we will confess our sin He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin. To confess and repent of sin means to turn your back on sin never to return! When you die your decision about Christ is locked in forever! That is a long time compared to this short life on earth! Decisions matter! Do not play the lottery and gamble your eternity away! Is It Really About Money? Matthew 6:19-21

Jesus tone and language changed between chapter 5 and chapter 6 of Matthew. Jesus moves from your public life to your private life. There should be no difference. No conflict between them. Jesus had an audience of the working poor which included most of his disciples. There were Jews, Greeks, Romans in the crowd and a few rich folks. The working poor would be those who earn just enough to buy their daily food. The whole family had to work to survive. Jesus message was about spending, saving and giving. How do American’s spend their money? Let us look at some big money people. NFL football players by a majority (68%) are broke after 2 years of retirement. Almost all Lotto winners are broke within one year of their winnings! Where is our heart? Money follows the heart. We are to save to give when there is a need. We are to be good stewards. If we spend all we have then nothing is left to help those in need. Proverbs6:6- Watch the ant! We are to spend less than we make just as the ant eats less than he gathers. We are to save to be generous at every opportunity. Matthew 6:22. Watch your eyes! What you focus on will be what you worship! Your eyes will focus your heart on treasures and your soul will bond to those things. Luke 16:10 How we handle money tells a lot about ourselves. He that is faithful with little will be faithful with much. This passage discounts Christians who say I will give when I make more money. Most people worry about money. Americans only give about 2% to charities. God does not have enough generosity among His people. Matthew 6:24 You cannot serve God and money and have two masters. The Lord says to tithe, save and give. God wants to be respected as, “Lord of All!” Begin to act like God owns it all! The love of money is the root of all evil. Who do you love? Money is not evil unless you love it! Think about it all the time. Love God and money will follow you enough to supply your needs and the needs of others. Love God and money will leave no sorrows. Love money and it will be a cruel task master. Money is not evil unless we use it to replace worship of the living God.
