Who is behind it? Who is behind tearing down statues of great American hero’s? Taking Crosses down out of cemeteries? Removing the Commandments of God from our public buildings? Removing prayer from our children in schools? Removing respect for our law enforcement and our National Flag? Who is behind open borders and sanctuary cities? The political left! War & Faith!

Lee (1807-1870) Comment: Can we start on the wrong side of history and end up on the right side of history? If the truth be known we all started on the wrong side of history! Otherwise no one would need to be saved! Ask the thief on the Cross! Today there are billions of people on the Cross in the valley of decision! Millions will get saved! My favorite example of a thief done straight is John Newton! You remember his song, “Amazing Grace.” He was captain of his own slave ship! Then in the midst of a storm on the sea when they were about to perish God showed him how wicked he was! He repented and returned to Liverpool England and joined a small church. This is where he wrote his famous hymn! In 1787 he wrote a book, “Thoughts upon the African Slave Trade.” This book helped William Wilberforce a Parliament member over a 20 year period abolish the slave trade! Where is the Kingdom? Luke 17:20-21
The religious folks the Pharisees asked Jesus when the Kingdom should come? I wish Jesus had said, “Da! You big idiots! I am God and I am with you right now!” However Jesus was polite not like me and told them the Kingdom of God does not come by observation! That is you cannot observe Him with your eyes! No man can look on God and live! Remember Fanny Crosby the Queen of Gospel Music? She was blind! Then Jesus dropped the bomb shell on them! He told them the Kingdom of God was within them! The religious folk over history have always presumed that since God lived outside of us we must worship Him outside of ourselves! Build monuments to Him! Statues and figures of wood and stone! Build Temples so the poor homeless guy has a place to dwell. Fill it with gold and silver! The bigger the Temple the more impressed God should be! Right? If we can just do enough works for Him! Jesus made things so simple yet missed by most? Who can worship God better than God living inside of you? He knows just how to do it! The songs that speak to us and the sermons that change us are powered by the God that lives inside of us! It is not about us but about Him! Sin is the only thing that keeps God out! Confess your sin to Him and let the Blood of Jesus cleanse you and then the door will be opened for Him to come and dwell in you! There is nothing greater than God living in you! Concerned Priest!
A local Parish had a concern for one of it’s members? This Parish had statues of twelve revered Saints; Lucy,Luke,Martin of Tours,Monica,Nicholas, Padre Pio, Peter,Rita,Philomena, Matthew, Mary Magdalene and Michael the Archangel. On Friday’s this member would kiss every statue before leaving. The problem was the last statue before the entrance door(Michael the Archangel), had his right foot on Satan’s head. This man would kiss Satan’s head last of all just before leaving? The Priest cornered this man and asked him why was he doing this? This man explained to the Priest that if all these Saint’s fail to rescue me at least I will have one friend in Hell!
