This judgment only comes to those who do not have the seal of the true God in their foreheads.” Comment: This is a tree huggers paradise! So this word ‘men’ used here has nothing to do with gender! So you may be a man and think you are a woman or a woman and think you are a man or think you are both but God passes judgment on those whose sin against nature that opposes the creator of nature! What is the seal of the true God in their foreheads? Notice not on their foreheads but in their foreheads! It is the mind of Christ! It is the Word of God! When the Word of God is internalized it produces right external character! Salvation works from the inside out! The Mark of the Beast is an external mark representing a character opposed to God! Jesus said we must be born again! God is really good at math! During the seven year tribulation period described in these chapters the Church has already been raptured to Heaven or one third of the earth’s population! One third of the earth is Christian! Here one third of the earth is destroyed so those resources cannot be used by the unbelievers! Then one third of the men on earth are destroyed in judgment to make room for those Christians returning to earth with Christ at his second coming at the end of the seven year tribulation period to reign and rule for a thousand years! Demon’s Believe in One God! James 2:19
WOW! They believe in one God yet they are not saved! Atheists do not believe there is a God yet the demons do! Could I believe in one God yet not be saved? The demons tremble at the mention of God! Do they give God more respect than most people? So what is missing from their belief? They rebelled against God and got cast out of Heaven! Faith is the key element missing from their belief! Without faith it is impossible to please God! Faith is really trusting God! Some Christian’s say I believe in God yet I do not believe in giving tithes and offerings to support my local church? Faith without works is dead! Demon’s have power to do miracles but not for good works but for evil! (Revelation 16:14) I will quote a partial commentary on James 2:19 from the Matthew Henry Commentary: “Faith is the root, good works are the fruits; and we must see that we have both. This is the Grace of God wherein we stand, and we shall stand to it. There is no middle state. Everyone must live God’s friend, or God’s enemy. Living to God, as is the consequence of faith, which justifies and saves obliges us to do nothing against him, but everything for him and to him.” Comment: Jesus went to the Cross for his Father for he did everything for him and to him! We are the recipients of his love! Our redemption is based on our trusting what Jesus has done for us! Not in our own works but the works of God! Works for good not evil. Our works are only good if God lives in us! This is the work of the Holy Spirit! We oppose evil because God opposes evil! We love the good because God is good! When anyone uses the power of God for evil and perverts the love of God for wickedness Satan takes residency in their lives! Conservatism on the March!
Studies are showing teenagers born after 2000– the so called ‘Generation Z’ are the most conservative generation since World War II. They do not like drugs or gay marriage and they hate tattoos! Instead, the current liberal idea’s of millennials will be taken for granted by conservatives of the next generation, and the liberals of the next generation will posit idea’s foreign to millennials, to which they will act conservatively. Source Quora.com Comment: The children of the millennials see and experience the disastrous liberal idea’s of their parents lived out in the culture and want no part of it! Socialism or liberalism is great when your college professor tells you how great it is on paper but when applied in living the big lie is exposed! This big shift to conservatism will also lead more youth to Christ and endorse the Savior rather than the atheistic views of Marx, Engels, Lenin, Darwin and other revolutionary idea’s opposing western civilization! Night Owl Ministries Mark 1:32-34
They say when the sun sets the party begins! There was good reason for the people to celebrate for Jesus cast demons out of them and healed all their sick bodies! The passage says all the city came out to see him! Why a big crowd at night time? We know that infirmities seem to get worse at night! You cannot sleep! As we learned in India all the people were working during the day so we could only go to them at night! In the night on the mountain in Yercaud India it was not easy! We would travel by motor scooter until the trail was only a foot path up the mountain then with flashlights make our journey to the remote villages! The rich young ruler came to Jesus by night! He was afraid the religious rulers would see him go to Jesus! Likewise in Yercaud the people who lived above us on the mountain would only come at night because the Catholic Priest warned them that since their huts were built on church property they would have to move if they came to us for prayer! Not all Catholic priests were like this for one came to us for prayer in the daytime and then left the church back in the 1980’s and began which became a big evangelistic ministry in India! Many Catholic priests love God and are doing a good work! I am sure that some religious leaders were losing sleep as Jesus delivered people from their sin! Ministry is not easy but the rewards of seeing people delivered by Jesus is the most rewarding thing you will ever do! When the local Pastor would hold his flashlight on my Bible and the candles lit all I could see was the reflection of the light in their eyes! When revelation would come to me by the Holy Spirit and was translated into their language their eyes would brighten up and reflect more light from the candles! No money can buy this kind of joy! When your container is full of joy you have to share it with others! They may come to you in the secrecy of the night but one touch from God and they will tell the whole world! What Way? Mark 1:2
Is there more than one way to skin a cat? Is there more than one way to get to Heaven? Jesus made it clear there is only one way! The word “way” in the Greek means to travel in a manner of life or a method to live by to the revealed will of God for your life! It is the only road leading to Salvation! It is the only road leading to eternal life with God not separated from him! It is an action that keeps you on this road in the direction of his providence trusting him to remove the obstacles in the road that would block your Blessings and Redemption! It is a matter of trust in him to stay on this road! It is a way to detour around death and stay on the road of life! Only those that stay on this highway can stay on this road with a lot of the traffic taking another route to hell! Those that stay on the road to Salvation also proclaim this way to eternal life to others sharing the good news Christ has revealed to us through His Word! Jesus has prepared the way for you going to the Cross for you! By being raised from the dead for you! By preparing a place in Heaven for you! Motel 6?
Why do they advertise that they leave the lights on for you? We found out last week in a Motel 6 up in North Carolina! First the beds are so hard you cannot sleep so you stay up all night reading a good book! If you do turn the lights off the roaches will move in on you! We heard the toilet upstairs flush and our bed quilt got a few drops of something that fell on it? Never turn the lights off in a Motel 6!
