The French Revolution abolished the different treatment of people according to religion or origin under the Monarchy! The 1789 Declaration of Rights of man and the citizens guaranteed freedom of religion and free exercise of worship provided it did not contradict public order. At that time most other European countries implemented measures restricting the rights of people from minority religions. Example was all Jews could only live in ghettos! Napoleon Bonaparte spread the modernist ideas of Revolutionary France: equality of citizens and the rule of law. The net effect of his policies, significantly changed the position of the Jews in Europe and he was widely admired by the Jews! He made Judaism along with Catholics and Protestants the official Religion of France. This all happened between the American Revolution of 1776 and the War of 1812. Sadly later Europe returned to the oppression of the Jews. Today Jewish oppression is growing across Europe and even the United States with the growth of Islam! Islam also oppresses Christians and anyone who resists Islam! Today Israel has a homeland and Jews are fleeing there! With the help of President Obama Islam has grown in power! He has given Iran billions in funds to finance terror and given them a path to nuclear weapons! Russia is supplying the missiles to Iran to launch these weapons! However they will fail. Israel has about 80 nuclear tipped missiles pointed at their enemies! More important God is their defender! Salvation to man has come through the Jews! Every generation that has lived has to decide to support or attack the Jews! History is on their side! God Blesses those who Bless the Jews! Make a decision about the Jews and do not default to Hell. Read your Bible and believe it for your eternity with God depends upon it! When you leave this earth the next time you hear the Bible read before you is at the Judgment Seat of Christ! Holy Spirit Dwelling
All church power arises from the indwelling of the Spirit, therefore those in who the Spirit dwells are the seat of Church power. But the Spirit dwells in the whole Church, and therefore the whole Church is the seat of Church power! Charles Hodge (1797-1878) Comment: The question remains what do you do with His power? Do you use it to build His Kingdom or your own? Do you use Him to enrich others or to enrich ourselves? To give expecting nothing else in return? Do we sacrifice for others or do we sacrifice others for our own gain? To abuse His power results in a vacating of His Spirit in your life! Then you will try to fill that void with religion. Before you were saved self was on the throne. After you were saved Christ replaced you on the throne. However self will continually try to retake the throne! This is a constant battle! your seat! If you have a reservation in Hell you earned that all on your own by denying your sin and Christ’s atonement! There is an increasing number of Christians being martyred for their Faith in Christ today! If you miss the rapture of the Church you will have a second opportunity during the 7 year tribulation period. However during the tribulation period in history you will pay with your life for professing Christ! If you deny Christ before you die and before the rapture and tribulation period you will have a terrible outcome separated from God forever living in the midst of a great furnace!
