Martin Luther is famously known as the Father of the Reformation! He grew up in the organized church. However something was wrong? Not with the people but with the system. He was a German Monk who began the Protestant Reformation in the 16th Century and became the most influential and controversial figure in the history of Christianity! Today in the 21st Century Donald Trump would be the most influential and controversial figure in American politics in the last hundred years! Somehow if you have never noticed influence and controversy go together! You cannot have one without the other! If you are not influential you will have no controversy! Martin Luther had to drain the religious swamp! If no influence you will die alone in the grave yard! Luther was charged as heretical as a leader of a religious revolt! The organized church tried to impeach him! More than that they were running for their lives from the church and the State! They had to go under ground! After months as a refugee in his own country he went into a depression! His wife encouraged him in a most unusual way! She went to her bedroom and dressed in black! Black dress, shoes, hat, veil, socks and handbag! When she came out to the living room Martin saw her and told her that she looked like she was going to a funeral? Yes we are she replied! To the funeral of your God! Martin snapped out of the depression went to his prayer closet and penned the famous hymn “A Mighty Fortress is our God!” Wives carry and share the burdens of ministry! Remember Job’s wife? Curse God and die! I am sure she got Job out of his depression! Good wives do not like pity parties! My wife Hamsa over the years has been responsible to help carry this ministry! Our wives help to shed light on our human frailty! As we enter through a very dark period in American history of political upheaval, death, plagues, spiritual depravity and isolation we must remember when the night gets the darkest the light of Christ shines the brightest! That is what happened to me on my death bed back in 1973! They gave me last rites! I knew it was my last night on earth yet excited because I was going to find out if my Bible were true and this Christ it talked about? Jesus came into my room that night and told me in just three words that God Loved Me! Then in the same year Jesus sent Hamsa my dear wife into my life! Love in the Church! 1 John 4:20
“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his [brother], he is a liar; for he that loveth not his brother who he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” Commentary: Brother Strong’s # 80. Adelphos (brother), Adelphe (sister). The word brother in the Greek is used here as a more distant relationship and many believe this circumstance means refers to brothers and sisters in Christ or the church. So the Apostle John is giving a directive to the church. Now we love everyone when we share Christ with them! But some will reject his love! God has offered redemption to all regardless of race, gender or political affiliation! If this love is not displayed in the church it will be hard to take it to the world! I just had a sister in the Lord remind me we are to pray for our political leaders! I do and I also get frustrated when they make stupid decisions that hurt Americans especially the middle class workers! I reminded her that the disciples prayed for Caesar yet he martyred them! I am sure in the German church some were praying for Hitler! Yet those Pastor’s that opposed him were martyred! I think we can oppose a wicked leader yet pray for him! The Lord told Paul he must go to Rome to be a witness for me! Do not worry what you shall say to the leaders for I will give you the words to say! Deadly Plagues!
Proverbs 14:12 Hebrew Translation. Words Translated back to English; Way, Strong’s #1870. Right, Strong’s# 3477. Death, Strong’s # 4194. Hebrew Translation: “There is a [way] or a journey where you walk. A pathway you follow representing your character and actions that seemeth [right] agreeing with the world but opposing God unto men; but the end thereof are the ways of a [deadly] pestilence or plague leading to destruction.” Commentary: Why does not one pastor across America call for a national repentance? Stranger than fiction? I can conclude only one thing! They are more afraid of men than they are of God! It is also about money! Keep writing the books and raking in the money! Fear that congregation members will flee if you tell them the truth! Sad day for America! Repentance begins in the House of God! When the people of America soon realize all their hopes have been dashed by politicians and the clergy they will bow their knee’s to the living God and a sea change will come to America! A real revival! Kim Clements one of the greatest prophets of the 20th and 21st Centuries prophesized trump would come to be president back in 2007 also prophesized in 2013 in his vision of America that he saw millions in the streets on their knee’s lifting up their hands to the God Of Heaven! Kim was not shown the circumstances except it had to be a severe catastrophic event! Kim also prophesized in 2013 that Trump would be re-elected but he did not say consecutive terms! This is why the Democrats and some Republicans are working to impeach him even though he is no longer in office! Then he could never run in 2024! Remember the words of Kim in 2013? Impeach! Impeach! Impeach! But they will fail! Sometimes God will change our circumstances to get us back to him! Like sheep we have all gone astray! If you miss God in this life you miss everything! Unity?
My question when anyone uses this word is unity around who and what? I am and never will be in unity for those that promote abortions! Gay marriage! Open borders! Sanctuary cities! American jobs back to China! Energy dependence on foreign oil! America last again! The inaugural prayer got off to a bad start! Did you hear it? No mention of the name of Jesus? Jesus said you cannot come to the Father but by me! Any prayer without the name of Jesus named in it is a generic prayer to an unknown god! Satan has unity! He has his followers! God through Christ has his followers in unity according to our scriptures! The question is which team are you on? One team in Christ has a good outcome! The other team a future in hell separated from God forever! However separation from God begins in your life here on earth by rejecting his Son Jesus Christ! Start your new year in Christ! Phone Call From God!
I was on my phone on another call when I got a call from God! He left a message so I anxiously listened careful to the recording on my phone from God! He said sorry wrong number!
Fear Not! 1 John 4:18
“There is no [fear] in love, but [perfect] love casteth out fear; because fear hath [torment]. He that [feareth] is not [made perfect] in love.” Commentary: Five Greek words are bracketed above. Two different words used for fear! The first word “fear” means a Godly fear or reverence! His love removes fear and only a desire to worship him! True love comes when you discover how much he loves you! What is perfect love? This is attaining your moral end or purpose in Christ! The word torment is not just a temporary punishment but an eternal one! It is a punishment for violating God’s laws! It is called sin! Sin produces the torment! Like Judas betraying Jesus! Hanging himself! There is no redemption in this torment! It is like a ticking time bomb in the soul of those that Christ! Anger is the fruit of this spirit! This produces no betterment in the soul. The next word feareth is a terrifying fear that causes one to flee or run away! No peace only running to and fro with no cure! Many people are running from God with the guilt of their sin! The last word “made perfect” we have discussed before. The love of Christ perfects the love of God in us to return that love to God and man! Our desire and mission is to accept his mission to save men! Take the Gospel to the ends of the earth! We want to share our experiences of the love of God with others. So why would some reject this love? Why would they reject their only Savior? People try to establish their own righteousness! They want to be God! Replace him! Pride before the fall! Self righteous! Like Lucifer is doing! Lucifer who became Satan! Make God in their own image! To try to establish their purpose outside the purpose of God! Producing a hell on earth rather than heaven! I will never forget the cartoon I saw in a newspaper years ago. It was a picture of a caveman with a club over his shoulder walking down a road from a mountain into a valley. The caption he spoke was I fear no evil as I walk through the shadow of the shadow of death because I am the meanest S.O.B. in the valley!
