A few years ago a Hollywood celebrity suddenly lost his wife to an illness! He asked this Pastor to do the funeral service! He also asked him if he could have the mic during the service to give a special eulogy for her! Sometimes a Pastor when he has to hand the mic over to a congregation member for a testimony or to someone he does not really know the fear of God moves into his heart! Then the Pastor says to himself what the heck? He is paying me a lot of money for this service and after all it is his wife! During the eulogy of his wife he made the closing remark that his wife was the best wife he ever had? A commentator later said that is what he said about all of his wives! Recently another celebrity re-married her first husband! Did she have buyers remorse? Did she bankrupt the last guy and the first guy was just coming out of recovery? I hope it works out for both of them and for the last guy she just dumped! I said all that to say this! There is only one God and he has only one Son! His name is Jesus Christ! He is faithful and true! His name is not Happy Holidays! Jesus was with his disciples for three years! Yet most of them had other gods! Judas was so in love with money it cost him his life and his eternity! Yet they did not know they had other gods until the crucifixion came! Then they ran for their lives and went into hiding! Persecution will always tell on you who you really are! This test is coming to the church in America very soon! After Jesus rose from the grave he had to seek his disciples! The two women who went to the empty tomb Mary the mother of Jesus and Mary Magdalene were faithful! Hats off to the ladies! Jesus found Peter along the seashore back to his fishing occupation! Jesus told Peter he would make him fishers of men! All the disciples came back repented and became pillars in the Christian church! You may feel you have failed God in some way! Some little god got in your way! God will never give up on you! Just do not give up on God! Wait in patience in whatever trial you are going through and he will prove to you he is faithful! War on Gender! 2 Timothy 3:3

There are five Greek words translated in the passage of scripture too much for one blog posting! So we will just address the first word, “Without Natural Affection” in this posting. The Greek Strong’s # 794 translates , “Without Family Love.” So how does the war on gender by the political left connect to this scripture? The promotion of homosexuality, gay marriage, transgenderism, lesbianism by the left destroys the family! No children! Divorce separates and destroys family love! Nancy Pelosi just gave the congress a list of pronouns they can no longer use! Words like father, mother, sister and brother? These words represent families! Now banned in congress? So if you follow her rules My God is not a Father? Jesus is not the Son of God! Mary is not a mother to Jesus! God has no gender? This is a war on God and his creation! God created male and female! Where does all this lead? If you continue reading your Bible you will find the answer! These events are prophetic! The one world socialist government lead by the Anti-Christ and his false prophet (religious ruler), will require you to worship him as God and you will have no father or mother except the State! You can only have your allegiance to the State! All opposition will be put down by the forces of the State! If you do not comply your job will be gone! Your advertisers if you own a business will drop you! You will be banned for life off twitter! Big tech will squelch your voice of any dissent on ideologies that oppose the State! No opposing voices allowed! Only the authoritarian voice one voice will be tolerated! I will only bow my knee to Christ! My tongue will only confess Christ as Lord! I will only worship him as God not the State! To stay true to Christ even here in America is going to cost you more yet the American church is preaching a message that things will be as they always were is not preparing us for what is coming to America! If you read and study your Bible and not some book written about the Bible you will see the hand writing on the wall! Whether to the palace or to the dungeon I will stay true to Christ! Baseball Great Hank Aaron!

On January 5, 2021, 86 year old Baseball legend Hank Aaron received his first shot of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at the Morehouse School of Medicine as part of an effort to send a message to Black Americans that the vaccine is safe, according to the Associated Press. He died the next day? No cause of death has been released yet. We have family members that got the Coronavirus! My sister in a nursing home and other family who have kids who just had to run around with their friends! I am almost 72 years old! My wife is older. You have to weigh the risks of the plague against the risks of taking the vaccine! Everyone has to decide for themselves! No promotion by our government or any celebrity will sway my decision in regards to taking this vaccine! Coronavirus has over a 99 percent survival rate! Remember President Trump got it! Tests are now showing a much larger percent of the population have this Chinese Plague (sorry Joe), and have no symptoms! We all wish Hank had not taken this vaccine! He may not have died from it yet this will instill resistance from all Americans about this vaccine! I want to be a poster boy but not in the obituary section of the Newspaper saying he got the shot! What is Retirement Like?

Since being retired for 23 years you notice things about yourself! I notice that I drink several cups of sleepy time tea during daylight hours? I complain the mail man is never on time! I send several house payments in ahead of time in case I forget! I complain about the weather even though I am not in it! I wish Christmas would get here in January! I have promised my wife to vacuum the rug last year! I tell the guests in January that the cob webs will come down after halloween! I have two clocks in the same room with different times an hour apart so I do not have to change advancing or retarding by one hour every year! I leave the Christmas decorations up all year long! I look the other way when I see dust! The thought of inviting a guest requiring house cleaning depresses me! I kill roaches with a BB gun! The thought of ever having to move tires me! I get my carnival kicks riding my stair lift! I do not separate laundry anymore! Just throw the mixed bag into the wash! It will all come out in the wash! My tax preparer tells me it is too early to file! I love the winter when the grass does not grow! When my furnace blower starts I get a cloud of dust off my venetian blinds! I make my bed when I feel like it. I answer all spam calls to make conversation. Just a few changes you will begin to notice in your retirement years!

Wives & Ministry!

Martin Luther is famously known as the Father of the Reformation! He grew up in the organized church. However something was wrong? Not with the people but with the system. He was a German Monk who began the Protestant Reformation in the 16th Century and became the most influential and controversial figure in the history of Christianity! Today in the 21st Century Donald Trump would be the most influential and controversial figure in American politics in the last hundred years! Somehow if you have never noticed influence and controversy go together! You cannot have one without the other! If you are not influential you will have no controversy! Martin Luther had to drain the religious swamp! If no influence you will die alone in the grave yard! Luther was charged as heretical as a leader of a religious revolt! The organized church tried to impeach him! More than that they were running for their lives from the church and the State! They had to go under ground! After months as a refugee in his own country he went into a depression! His wife encouraged him in a most unusual way! She went to her bedroom and dressed in black! Black dress, shoes, hat, veil, socks and handbag! When she came out to the living room Martin saw her and told her that she looked like she was going to a funeral? Yes we are she replied! To the funeral of your God! Martin snapped out of the depression went to his prayer closet and penned the famous hymn “A Mighty Fortress is our God!” Wives carry and share the burdens of ministry! Remember Job’s wife? Curse God and die! I am sure she got Job out of his depression! Good wives do not like pity parties! My wife Hamsa over the years has been responsible to help carry this ministry! Our wives help to shed light on our human frailty! As we enter through a very dark period in American history of political upheaval, death, plagues, spiritual depravity and isolation we must remember when the night gets the darkest the light of Christ shines the brightest! That is what happened to me on my death bed back in 1973! They gave me last rites! I knew it was my last night on earth yet excited because I was going to find out if my Bible were true and this Christ it talked about? Jesus came into my room that night and told me in just three words that God Loved Me! Then in the same year Jesus sent Hamsa my dear wife into my life!
