Early Redemption! Ephesians 1:13-14

A company wants to buy my life insurance policy! They might pay me 50 thousand dollars on a 100 thousand dollar policy. There are a lot of things you have to consider! My tithe to my local church! Any tax liabilities? I called my tax accountant and asked her to check on any taxes that would be due and then asked her on the thoughts of spending my death benefits before I die? I told her if I wait until I die the benefits do me no good! She told me  you will get the full benefits if you wait until you die  but you know there is a down side to everything? You know it is like speaking at your own funeral! They would be the nicest words said about me! I could call out those fake relatives with the phony tears! Then I could pick out my own casket! I could have a Christian burial with no cremation! I could chose my own burial plot! I always wanted a lake view! I saw on the news yesterday a State Trooper pulled over a suspicious looking U-Haul truck? He asked them to open the back of the truck! It was full of stolen caskets! Were these thieves trying to cheat death? When we come to Christ we get the death benefits before we die! Jesus has prepared a mansion for us in Heaven but we get the benefits while still living here on earth! The Apostle Paul called these benefits the escrow or down payment! Jesus went to Heaven to send the Holy Spirit back to us as a down payment to his promises to us! The Holy Spirit is a seal in us and on us that marks us for redemption! A life insurance policy for this life and for eternal life! While living here on earth we experience the joy and peace that this world could never give us! God’s very presence living in us! Jesus went to the tomb so we could be raised from the tomb! No mortal can promise you what Jesus has promised you! People go back on their promises but Christ never will! Jesus has overcome the world because he created the world! Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Jefferson on Liberty!

God who gave us life gave us Liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God?  Thomas Jefferson 1774.  Comment: Liberties come from God not government! When I was in elementary school about 65 years ago we used to recite the “Pledge of Allegiance” every morning before classes began! There was a United States flag in every classroom! We would all stand together not taking a knee and recite the pledge with our hands over our hearts as the teacher would lead us! If you know the pledge do you remember the last line of the pledge? “With liberty and justice for all.” Not just for me! Not just for the Republicans or Democrats but for all! Not just for those in political power but to those who put them in power! I have noticed over time that when a culture begins to question God then they question every other foundation and anarchy begins! Against all authority! So what does liberty really mean? What does the bible say? I discovered there are three different Hebrew words for liberty in the Old Testament and seven different Greek words for liberty in the New Testament! The first time word is used in the Old Testament is Leviticus 25:10. The first time used in the New Testament is Acts 24:23. So let us combine these words together and see what kind of meaning we get for Liberty? Liberty means to move rapidly in every direction exempt from bondages and taxes! I suppose Jefferson loved this meaning as thy were planning a tea party in Boston! The less taxes the more freedom the people have! Liberty means to pardon and forgive! Salvation! The thief on the Cross experienced this! It is a judicial decision (Law), with the realization of relief! Liberty is to live as a citizen not a slave! We through Christ are citizens of Heaven no longer a slave to sin! Liberty is delegated authority to turn over or transfer freedom! Jesus paid according to law the price for our sin and has transferred liberty and freedom to us! God guarantee’s our liberty not government! My liberty is not based on me or my government! It is based on a transcendent God who created all things and lives forever! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

An Unjust Law? I Timothy 1:8

Greek Translation: “But we know the Divine Law given to us by Moses is Constitutionally good with expressed beauty, harmony and balance and is so if we use it lawfully.” Comment: So the law is lawful if we use it lawfully! Otherwise we can become lawless! The religious rulers got on Jesus because he healed a sick man on the Sabbath! Jesus rebuked them for their lack of compassion! A law is to protect life and property of the citizens of any nation! Your speed limit sign is to protect you from accident, injury or death! How many follow this law? Our Constitution is designed to protect citizens from others and themselves! So what would be an example of an unjust law that would not protect the lives of American citizens? How about abortion? Legalization of illicit drugs? Sanctuary cities harboring criminals? Gay Marriage? Unfavorable trade laws legalized by Congress who took money from other nations as a bribe for their votes! The list goes on! So any law can be used to either harm people or help people depending on the motive or basis of why the law was created! Jesus said the love of money is the root of all evil! Abortion, drugs and every other unjust law has everything to do about the love of money ruling over the hearts of people who do not care how many people die because of these unjust laws! My Bible says no one can keep the law! That is why Jesus went to the Cross to make a way for God to reconcile people to himself! True repentance involves recognizing and repenting of our evil and changing direction in our lives! What separates Jesus from the rest of us is he never sinned against God’s laws simply because he is God! No mortal that ever lived can claim this! Whether you proclaim him or profane him he is still God and judge over the entire earth! Is he your judge or your Savior? The choice is yours to make! Heaven or Hell? It should be an easy choice! Church Gambler!

A congregation member bought a lottery ticket and won fifty thousand dollars! However his wife intercepted the letter from the lottery commission and did not inform her husband because she was concerned about his health due to his age and a heart condition! So she called the Pastor and asked him if he could come over and gently break the news of his winnings to her husband? He complied and came over to the house and asked the husband what would he do with the money if he ever won fifty thousand dollars? The old man said Pastor I would give you twenty five thousand dollars and split it in half just for you! The Pastor immediately had a heart attack and died on the spot!

S.I.W.

In the military we call this a ‘Self Inflicted Wound.’ A coward who wants to get out of the military shoots himself in the foot! This is what the Democrats are doing to themselves! The normal way a legal conclusion is reached is you gather evidence and make a conclusion based upon evidence! They have reversed the process! They concluded Trump committed collusion  with the Russians in the 2016 elections and have been on a two year search of evidence to try to prove their theory! They are searching every barn yard and hen house across America! They cannot accept the will of the American people and still searching for an excuse as to why Hillary lost! The American people are sick of this and will vent their frustrations at the polls in 2020 towards the Democrats! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Bible on Gays! Leviticus 20:13

“If a man lies with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: They shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” Comment: The law simply tells us we are all sinners! Jesus came not to destroy the law but to fulfill it! Jesus was very different from us! He never sinned or broke the law! That is why he is the only perfect sacrifice for our sin! Remember when the religious leaders caught Jesus healing a man on the Sabbath day? Jesus told them he was even Lord of the Sabbath! Jesus went to the Cross and fulfilled the law dying with the penalty of death for all of our sin! He did it for us so what must we do? Receive this Salvation repenting or forsaking our sin and changing directions! Then we are free from the guilt, pain and bondages of sin able to serve God in purity and Holiness! God makes us Holy we cannot do it on our own! The biggest lie Satan will ever tell you is you are not a sinner even though he is the author of sin! You can work your way to Heaven? You are not a sinner you do not need the Savior? The government has sanctioned your sin so the law of man says I am right? No man will be able to save you on judgment day! Only Christ the God/man can stand before you and judgment to Hell! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Anger & Character!

You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry! Abraham Lincoln   Comment: Lincoln was so angry at the sin of slavery that he did something about it! With the sacrifice of over six hundred thousand casualties and tens of thousands wounded through the civil war the end of slavery appeased Lincoln’s anger! However it was not enough! It required his own assassination and sacrifice to complete the campaign to end slavery! Martin Luther King Jr. gave his life as a sacrifice to battle racial discrimination! Whatever makes God angry should make us angry! In fact God was so angry at sin that he sacrificed his only Son on a Cross for our sin! Sin judged upon himself proves his love for us! He took our judgment of death upon himself! What really tops the list of God’s anger is the rejection of his love and the Savior! The rejection of your love is the hardest thing in the world to endure! That anger is expressed in the future in the Book of Revelation during the seven year tribulation period just before Christ’s second coming back to earth! The rapture of his church just before this event expresses his love! God hates the sin but loves the sinner! We have to be separated from our sin in order to make Heaven! Does abortion make you angry? Does drug trafficking killing tens of thousands of our youth every year make you angry? Do thousands of illegal immigrants killing American citizens make you angry? Did 9-11 make you angry? It made some Americans angry enough to join the military and give their lives and limbs in foreign lands to protect America! Or are you passive with no concern for our nation! I want to get all I can out of America but do not want to give anything to it? Are we complacent when we see evil? We are to love what God loves and hate what God hates! Abraham Lincoln made another famous quote! He said were it not for the Bible we would not know good from evil! Without knowing the difference our culture and nation is doomed for destruction! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
