Faith or Suicide?

Suicide may also be regarded as an experiment–a question which man puts to Nature, trying to force her to answer. The question is this: What change will death produce in a man’s existence and in his existence and into his insight into the nature of things? It is a clumsy experiment to make; for it involves the destruction of the very consciousness which puts the question and awaits the answer! Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860) Commentary: Suicide awaits those who trust in themselves! You trust in yourself when you make yourself God! Adolf Hitler was a good example! His god was Charles Darwin as was the other Axis Power leaders! Darwin’s Theory of Evolution failed him so suicide was the only answer! Judas Iscariot trusted in money! When the money failed him suicide was his only answer! Death! Without faith it is impossible to please God! Some men try to please God and others themselves! In Christ resides life and the light of men! Faith in Christ brings his light into your life! Faith in the world brings death! Follow the science? Science leads us to the graveyard! Faith or Sight?

II Corinthians 5:7 ” For we walk by faith and not by sight.” Commentary: The Apostle Paul learned this truth on the Road to Damascus! He was blinded by the light of Christ! He had to lose his sight for 3 days so he could live by faith! Jesus was already resurrected and had returned to the Father! Paul was persecuting the followers of Christ for he was living by sight! Those living by sight will persecute the people living by faith! Jesus had to intervene! So the biggest persecutor of Christians became the biggest promoter of Christians! He wrote about two thirds of our New Testament! Paul sacrificed his life in Rome hung upside down on a Cross! Joshua and Caleb lived by faith and were the only ones that saw the promise land of their generation ! The rest perished in the wilderness wandering for 40 years! Jesus promised to prepare a place for us in heaven! We by faith receive the promise! David lived by faith! The rest saw Goliath and said no way! David by faith saw Goliath defeated! Christopher Columbus lived by faith! He saw by the scriptures that according to the then world maps there was a continent missing! He presented his case to the King and Queen of Spain! He told them that if he sailed west he would run into this continent! So the Catholics got a one hundred year head start of evangelism of south and central America and western America! So why do people want to tear down his statues? Because he lived by faith according to scriptures and not by sight! Satan lives by sight but the followers of Christ by faith! Satan saw himself as the God of heaven but ended up in hell! Trump re-election was prophesized in 2013 by Prophet Kim Clements! So he saw this by faith and not by sight or by the polls! Adam and Eve lived by sight and saw the forbidden fruit was good looking! Death entered humanity! By faith Christ came to earth to redeem us! His second coming will be by faith! Creation or Evolution? Genesis 1:1

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…” Thus the task is not so much to see what no one else has seen, but to think what nobody yet has thought about that which everybody else sees! Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860) Commentary: Science verifies scripture! Science says all the planets and all stars in our galaxy are all the same age! This verifies Genesis 1:1. Forgiven or Unforgiven? 1 John 3:6

“Whosoever [abideth] in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.” Commentary: Let us look at the word “abideth.” It means to remain in Christ! To be steadfast waiting with great expectation with patience towards circumstances and people. Jesus is the anchor to our soul! You hold fast to your faith throughout all circumstances! You trust God not men! So what scriptures come to your mind outside of this scripture? There is another scripture that says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God! How about where it says if any man say he is not a sinner he is a liar! All these scriptures are true so how do they reconcile to 1 John 3:6? Remember sin means to transgress the law! We have all broken the law except Christ! He came to fulfill the law even death on a Cross! When you abide in Christ you are abiding in his salvation! He took your judgment for your sin! When the Father sees you through the blood of Christ you are as if you had never sinned just like your Christ! The miracle of Christ in him you are a sinless sinner! There are only two kinds of people in the earth. Forgiven sinners and unforgiven sinners! Forgiven sinners in heaven and unforgiven sinners in hell. Those separated from Christ do not abide in him! Why is it some people reject the gift of eternal life with Christ? They would rather be in charge of their own hell than to submit to the authority of God and the heaven he has waiting for them! They have to keep their sin and abandon their redemption! Some would rather be in charge of hell than to be a servant in heaven! This is the same problem Lucifer or Satan had! Rebellion against God brings destruction in the earth! Riots, Burning! Looting! Murder! As long as I remain in charge does not matter how many people I sacrifice! Wise or Foolish?

Are you a fool to the world and wise to God or are you wise for the world and a fool to God? Which is it? I Corinthians 2:18-19 “Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God: for it is written, he taketh the wise in their own craftiness.” Commentary: The word wise in the Greek is “sophoi”. Remember Sophia Loren? She was so beautiful she turned men into fools! The Greeks observed the course and motion of the heavens, planets, sun, moon and stars to become wise! They tried to regulate their lives according to the course of God! They were searching for truth! They had to look beyond themselves! This word also means to be prudent, sensible and judicious! Using good judgment! Wisdom is a work that demonstrates expertise! To live your life according to eternal principles! To live your life in light of eternity! Our forever is determined by our choices here on earth! Foolishness means to be dull or stupid. Absurd behavior with silly talk being a buffoon! The old block head! The wisdom of this world makes fools of men! Darwin became a fool and has millions of disciples being the same fools! An ideology of atheism that leads to destruction! The broad way to destruction is the road most traveled! Jesus said no man can come to the Father but by me! Only one road to Heaven and all other roads lead to Hell. Bless or Curse?

First of all the blessing comes from God and the curse comes from Satan! Two opposites from two different sources! In the Old Testament there are twelve different Hebrew words used for our English word ‘curse’. There are five different Greek words used in the New Testament. Which word used depends on context but the same English word is used in every case by the translators. Nothing wrong with that but a need to know! The word curse means to appear worthless or small. To feel insignificant! You feel like circumstances are in your way that stop your progress! That is why some abandon their families! It could be a sworn statement about you in a court of law! It is an effort to undo your blessings! However these are feelings and if we live by them disaster comes! We are to live by faith! Another meaning for the word curse means to bore a hole or puncture! The Cross! Jesus was cursed for our iniquities! It means to be marked for death by extermination! The disciple Thomas would not believe Jesus was raised from the dead unless he could feel his scars in his side! Jesus was bruised for our iniquities! So where did the curse really begin? It began in heaven! War began in heaven and continues down here on earth! Lucifer the fallen angel had the highest position in heaven next to God leading the Praise and worship there! He was the Praise leader! The choir leader! Yet somehow and at some point he felt insignificant? Ever feel that way? He wanted more! I remember my grandfather who was a wealthy man tell me the more I give my kids the more they want! It never ends? Lucifer wanted to be God and at that moment he became Satan! The religions and ideologies of this world want to make you God for your destruction! When you reject Christ your blessings end and your curses begin! Lucifer said I will be God I will be like the most high! He led a rebellion in heaven and got one third of the angels to follow him! They were cast out of heaven to earth and then hell on earth began! So Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden were enjoying the blessings of heaven here on earth and who comes along to make them feel insignificant? Satan! Surely God has not said you will die if you take of this fruit? God is a liar! You can be God if you eat of this fruit! The bait Satan uses to get us to sin is the feeling of insignificance and pride! The Pastor that feels insignificant steals church funds (Judas), or has an affair with a member of the congregation! The drug dealer dropped out of school but now with his weapon controls territory and has an income and feels significant! Any challengers to his authority die! Insignificant people buy lottery tickets! If I have money I will then be important! Men plot to overthrow governments so they can be in charge! Men abuse people and murder people to stay in power! After retirement I felt insignificant! Even though I got a check every month it was as though I lost my purpose? No longer part of an organization with purpose! This is why it is important to develop ministry purpose in your local church! That will continue on after retirement! Part of my purpose is our web site and blog! No one retires in heaven! Neither his Saints on earth! John 3:16; For God so loved the world that he gave… God first loved you! He has purpose for your life! When you find Christ you find your purpose! Jesus has purpose because he serves you! Whether on earth or in heaven! What is he doing right now as he prepares for his second coming? He is seated at the right hand of the Father praying for the Saints here on earth! Praying for you! For me! If you are a believer in Christ you are on his prayer list! Jesus served you on the Cross! Are you serving others or just yourself? The author of purpose and significance is God! The author of insignificance is Satan! Which voice are you going to follow? You will follow someone! Christ or the Anti-Christ! The religions and ideologies of this world oppose Christ! Do you oppose Christ? If so why? Give or Take Credit?

I Corinthians 2:12 “Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are “freely given” to us of God.” Commentary: The words “freely given” is translated as a gift! It is grace to be kindly treated with favor! The spirit of the world always says you have to earn it! It is all by my own efforts! Get what you can out of people and move on! Trash the reputation of others to promote yourself! The spirit of the world is an evil spirit! Use people to get ahead! I will not be a sacrifice for their benefit but sacrifice them for my benefit! The Spirit of God placed gifts within you at birth! The problem comes when we take credit for our God given gifts! Pride drives the spirit of the world! I did it! The Spirit of God was in the Garden of Eden but so was the spirit of the world! Adam and Eve you are wiser than God! Take and eat of this fruit and you will be wiser than God! God is holding back from you and cheating you! God has not said you will surely die if you eat of this tree? God is a liar! Satan as always is looking for an opportunity to persecute Christ and his followers! Which spirit lives in you? The Holy Spirit or the spirit of the world? The Apostle Paul said i know nothing else but Christ crucified! Do you look at Christ as your Savior or do you try to put him up on the Cross again? Do you praise him with your breath or curse him? Are you like Judas playing a religious game while betraying him? At the ascension of Jesus to heaven he promised his disciples he would send his Holy Spirit to them! To secure his promises to them until his second coming! If you look outside yourself to Christ then he will send his Holy Spirit to dwell inside you! The Comforter! The Holy Spirit is made available to you because God made a blood sacrifice of himself for you on a Cross! For you sin! Then the Gift of the Holy Spirit is available after your repentance to God for your sin and accepting the blood sacrifice of Christ! What are some of the benefits of the Holy Spirit living in you? Love, peace, joy, patience, long suffering, prophecy and the list goes on! Jesus said you receive not because you ask not! Ask Jesus to send his Holy Spirit to you! You will find a new way of living in him! Not leaning on your own understanding but acknowledging him in all your ways! Jesus said he would never leave you nor forsake you! Obedience or Plagues?

Leviticus 26:21 “And if you walk contrary to me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.” Comment: What God is telling us in this chapter that we need to keep his Commandments and Statutes! Make no idols! Keep the Sabbath! Revere my Sanctuary! Do not break my Covenant! If you do these things then I will dwell among my people! Blessings will come! Your enemies will not defeat you! One of the plagues listed in this chapter is a burning fever! God will always judge sin! He is righteous and Holy in him there is no sin! He will always punish sin! This is why he took his only begotten Son and put him on a Cross! He took our plagues upon himself! He became our judgment for us! This is the love of God! However if we reject the blood covenant sacrificial work of Christ then judgment is not stayed but loosed on us as a people and a nation! If no sacrifice for your sin then judgment will follow you! Judgment is like a blood hound following your scent of sin! We have no power within ourselves to defeat it! It will defeat us! Sin will consume you! God consumed your sin on a Cross for you! He took your plagues upon himself! If you reject this only sacrifice for your sin then the plagues are not stayed but released on us! No one by themselves has ever beat sin! Sin and death was defeated by God for you! However to reject Christ is to remove his protection over you! To void your eternity in heaven with him! It still gets down to a choice! God chose our sin and death to deliver us from it on the Cross! For you not to choose him is to crucify him again! Then there is no provision for sin and judgment follows you forever! Life is short but eternity is forever! Choose Christ and live! Jesus was obedient even to death on a Cross! It is not our obedience that saves us it is his obedience! James and Hamsa Sasse.
