The goal of socialism is communism! Vladimir Lenin Comment: Socialism has failed in every nation that has tried it! Venezuela and her people are the latest victims! The people are crossing borders and fleeing to other countries! A mass exodus! I like this Winston Churchill quote: ” The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings, the inherent virtues of socialism is the equal sharing of misery!” Yet the ignorant left with Bernie Sanders and his followers on the left are promoting a failed system with a history of more losses than the lottery players across America put together! Bernie and his new bride 50 years ago went to Moscow for their honeymoon! Why did they not stay there? If you love socialism move to Cuba! Move to the Soviet Union! Move to Greece! Move to the EU! He got pneumonia when he was 18 months old and nearly died! He was cut from his high school baseball team for joining a church league violating school rules! He dropped out of high school in the 10th grade! He worked as a ditch digger, delivery boy, railroad track layer and a shoemaker. He was drafted into the Army in 1943 and honorably discharged in 1946. He tried out for the then Fayetteville Cubs professional baseball team and was cut after 3 weeks! His name was Rocky Marciano who reigned as Heavyweight Boxing Champion of the world from 1952-1956! He had a total of 49 fights in his career with a total of 49 victories! Forty three of these victories were by knockout! Never try to shield yourself or others from struggles! Struggles build character! Suffering and Success! Acts 9:15-16
It seems that everyone is trying to show the world how successful they are! The American dream! Mansions, land, gold, money, private jets, limo’s, fame, status and the rest of the vanities! However though everyone wants it there is a problem? Success tends to put the spotlight on us rather than God! Our failures can put the spotlight on Jesus rather than us! God delivered me from the death bed! Jesus raised me from the dead! I was a street person but now He has given me a family and a home! No one else ever cared for me like Jesus! He loved me when no one else would! The disciples were afraid of Paul and rightly so but Jesus told them that Paul was going to be a great leader in the church and suffer many things for my name! In my weakness i find His perfect strength! Much of the modern church has adopted the ways of the world! Then they wonder why there is no power to do the things Jesus commanded them to do?
