When death comes he respects neither age or merit, He sweeps from our earthly existence the sick and the strong, the rich and the poor, and should teach us to be prepared for death! President Andrew Jackson

Christmas Story
It was Christmas Eve in Brooklyn New York in 1942. The war was on and a difficult time. It was snowing in New York. A cold night as Wilber was walking down the street thinking about his past. Wilber was 98 years old and his past troubled him? He had committed crimes and betrayed his family and many friends. He was most troubled about where he would go if he died? As he went by a church he heard Christmas Carols. Then he thought I know what I can do! I will join a church and this will throw me in with all the good folks. Then I can escape hell! Wilber went into this Lutheran Church and asked the Pastor if he could join the church? The Pastor told him if he could answer one question correctly. The question is where was Jesus Christ born? Wilber thought a minute and said Pittsburg. Sorry said the Pastor you need to find another place. Wilber went back out into the snow and cold and found a Catholic Church. He went in and asked the Priest if he could join? The Priest said he could only if you can answer one question correctly. Where was Jesus Christ born? Wilber strained his brain and said Philadelphia. The Priest told Wilber he was too far gone to make a good Catholic! Down but not out Wilber hit the streets once again. The he walked by a Synagogue but it looked closed. Then he saw a light in one of the back offices so he knocked on the door. A Rabbi opened the door and invited him in. Wilber asked if he could join the Synagogue? The Rabbi said sure you can! Wilbur was perplexed? Are you going to ask me any questions? No replied the Rabbi. Wilber asked the Rabbi if he would mind if he asked him a question? Please go right ahead said the Rabbi. Where was Jesus Christ born? The Rabbi responded Bethlehem of course! Wilber replied and said, ” I knew it was in Pennsylvania some place! ” Source; Unknown. Merry Christmas! James and Hamsa Sasse. Veteran Salute!
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for another! Jesus Christ Comment: How much is your life worth to a American veteran? His life! How much is the life of an American veteran worth to you? You cannot get any closer to the Cross than laying down your life for another! That is what God did for you! James and Hamsa Sasse. Coup against Christ!
They say of us we are an anti-Christian movement. They even say I am an outspoken paganist… I solemnly declare here, before the German public, that I stand on the basis of Christianity, but I declare just as solemnly that I will put down every attempt to introduce confessional matters into our Hitler youth! Baldur Von Schirach (1907-1974), Nazi Party National Youth Leader, Sentenced to 20 years in prison at Nuremburg Trials. Comment: He claimed Christian yet he wanted none of the youth to have anything to do with Christ? A contradiction! He was saying we must have separation of church and state! No prayer or Bible studies for our youth! No Christian values allowed in our education system! Sounds like our public education system today here in America! Sadly history repeats itself with lessons of the past forgotten! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
Miracles Work This Way!
We live and die; Christ died and lived! John Stott (1921-2011), English Anglican Priest, In 2005 Time Magazine rated him one of the most one hundred influential people in the world.
Repentance before Christ? Mark 1:4
Greek Translation: “John did the act of washing in water in the wilderness and proclaimed righteousness with the baptism of repentance changing their minds from evil to good with a speech of rough breath and acute accent to move them in the direction towards the remission or the temporary bypassing of sin.” Commentary: Did you get that? The temporary bypassing of sin is the way it is translated in the Greek! This was before the Cross! Jesus completed the job at Calvary for a permanent bypassing of sin! So the question begs to be asked were the Old Testament Saints saved? They were temporarily saved by the act of looking forward to the Cross! All the writers of the Old Testament were looking forward to the Cross! If you look back to the Cross today you have a temporary salvation until in Faith you accept what Christ has done for your sin! Everyone who has ever lived will either look back to their sin or look back to the Cross at the Judgment Seat of Christ! Right now which is it? If you see your sin on the Cross you are saved! If you look back and only see your sin you are condemned forever! Happy Easter! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
Is our Christ the same Christ in Islam?
Absolutely not! In fact just the opposite! If you go to the Muslim sources Jesus is just a man and not God! He is a prophet taken to heaven and did not die or was not sacrificed for our sin! He is not a redemptive Jesus! If fact according to their sources when he returns to earth he will tell all the Christian’s he was wrong and Allah is the real God! In fact our Christ is their anti-Christ! Our anti-Christ is their Christ! John MacArthur has a very good post on YouTube covering the details of this! It is 43 minutes long but worth every minute of it! We are not members of his church but neither are we members of a lot of good churches! Truth is truth! We belong to the Body of Christ! Go to YouTube and type in the search box; John MacArthur and the antichrist. Thankyou. James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
Power in The Name!
The seven churches in the Book of Revelation listed in Chapter two are Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea. Now each of these Greek names of these cities has a meaning! Even though Alexander the Great conquered these area’s centuries ago these cities were then under Roman rule! Remember the feet of clay of the image in the Book of Daniel Rome was the last of four Kingdoms to usher in the Christ! Let us look at the first city Ephesus! Why was this city listed first in Chapter two? Logistics! If you look at a map of the old world you will see this city is closest to the Island of Patmos where the Apostle John wrote these letters from. Smyrna is number two listed as the second closest to the island! So what does the name Ephesus mean? The Greek word means ; ‘To Let Go.” Jesus commended the Church at Ephesus for many things but when it came to discipline of the Church Jesus said you have let go of your first love! If you study the name and the meaning of these seven cities you will find a connection to the character of the people living there even believers! Whether the character is good or bad! This is not new to me for the three years we spent in India I found the same was true there! Hindu’s, Muslim’s and Sikh’s when they came to Christ would often change their names! They would take on a Christian name such as John, Peter or Paul or Mary. They would even publish their photo in the local newspaper announcing to the world of their name change! I have found the character of a person is related to the character of their name! Sadly most people do not know the meaning of their own name yet their character will reflect that name because their name is called to them everyday of their lives! My brother Thomas was a doubter! He doubted me because my name James means a suplanter! There is one name that is above every name! His name is Jesus Christ! There is power in his name because he is God! When we cast Demons out of people in India we could only use one name that would work! Jesus Christ! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
Lines in the Sand!
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was a Russian novelist, historian, short story writer and a decorated military officer in WWII. He was a critic of the Soviet Socialism, Communism and the Gulag labor camps! He spent eight years of his life in a Soviet labor camp and lived to tell about it! He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1970. Though a good military officer on the Eastern front and then the push into Prussia he could not overlook the brutality of the Soviet system! He witnessed Russian soldiers raping to death Polish and German women! He told his troops we are not any better than the Nazi’s! He wrote to a friend and expressed the need for a change in the Soviet Socialist system! His letter was intercepted and he was sentenced to 8 years in the Soviet labor camps! Everyday in these camps men would collapse from heavy work and a starvation diet! When they fell to the ground they were beaten to death with there own shovels! Day by day and year by year Aleksandr was weakened by these conditions! Finally he could no longer stand! He went down to his knee’s in fatigue! A nearby prisoner came close to him and drew a Cross in the sand for him to see! Then this fellow prisoner took his hand and wiped out the Cross in the sand! When he saw the Cross his body regained strength and he stood up once again and began to work! Aleksandr met the Christ that day who had made many more sacrifices than he had ever done! 7 Spirits? Revelation 1:4
“John to the seven churches which are in Asia; Grace be unto you, and peace, from which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne.” Comment: So who are these 7 Spirits? First we have to look at the Greek root word for our English word Spirits! This is not booze! The Strongs number is 4151. This word denotes wind or the breath of God! Remember at Pentecost the Holy Spirit came as a mighty strong rushing wind upon the disciples? Your breath is the invisible part of you but without it there is no life in you! God breathed into us his breath at Creation! Though invisible it the most powerful part of us! In the tongue is the power of life and death! Jesus spoke words of life! Hitler, Marx, Lenin, Darwin, Stalin all spoke words of death! Why? Because they spoke words that opposed God and his Christ! We all use the breath God has given us to make words! The biggest mistake people make is to think their breath is their own! Then abuse will come! Hate speech! With our breath we can praise or curse God! If we speak God’s words we honor him and bring life to others! If we speak words against God we separated ourselves from him! Satan used God’s breath to deceive Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden! He told them God was a liar! People do this same thing today! Satan got kicked out of Heaven by taking God;s very breath and using it against him! The same goes on today! Even thought the 7 churches of Asia were not perfect as we are not perfect yet their words of Praise for their God brought them before the Throne Room of God! Your words will either move you closer to God or further from him! The most distant place from God is Hell! If you gave someone your breath and they cursed you with your own breath how would you feel? The Christ which was, and is, and is to come is listening to our words! Our words describe us even better than finger prints and DNA! Your eternity is based upon your words! When I hear someone curse God and use his name in vain I cringe inside! Not for God but for them!
