1 John 3:24 “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him, and hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” Commentary: Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments! If the Spirit of God dwelleth in us then we want to please God and respect his commandments! If not then we war against him! There are two Spirits that are at war with each other! The Spirit of God and the Spirit of Satan! They are both looking for recruits! What team are you on? Let us look at created beings besides ourselves! We have a Trinity of Angels or at one time had a Trinity of Angels! They are Gabriel, Michael and Lucifer. They like us are created beings! Gabriel is the messenger angel. Michael the war angel and Lucifer who became Satan the Praise leader in heaven. Lucifer rebelled against God and was thrown out of heaven with one third of the angels who followed his rebellion! Why did Gabriel and Michael stay faithful and true and Lucifer did not? They had free will to choose as we also do! One third of the earth’s population is Christian and two thirds in rebellion! Do you see a pattern? The one third Christian population replaces the one third of the angels who rebelled against God in worship on earth and in heaven! If you notice our Gospel Tract on our web site has three symbols! Do you see the pattern? I tell Christians that if you get to heaven you will still have a free will to choose! However the Holy Spirit indwelling give us the power to remain faithful even in heaven! Never discount the Holy Spirit part of the Trinity! Gabriel stayed faithful and the Holy Spirit stayed faithful because we have our Bible! The Word of God! Michael still wars against Satan and his angels and will be active in the last great battle to come to earth! So how do we know Lucifer was unfaithful! He gives you evil thoughts to oppose God! He as former musician and praise leader in heaven gives us songs that mock and oppose God here on earth! Jeremiah was a bull frog! Remember the beetles (beatles), bugs rejecting God! Sin in the earth is evidence of Lucifer’s rebellion! Sickness and death! Coronavirus! God can bring a plague in judgment on this world but even Satan carries it out! God sent us a Savior to defeat Satan! Wars and rumors of wars! Lucifer’s work! Ideologies that oppose Christ! The Trinity of God has no beginning and has no end! Mortality has no power over them but they have power over it! Jesus will one day raise the dead from the grave! He judges the living and the dead! When the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus during his Baptism by John the Baptist the Father said this is my beloved Son who I am pleased in! The indwelling Holy Spirit will confirm your Salvation! Ask Jesus to come into your life and then ask him to send you the Holy Spirit! Jesus has gone to prepare a place for you in heaven! Lucifer has gone to prepare a place for his followers in hell! A fool has said in his heart there is no God! The evolutionist has said there is no God! Be wise like the wise men of the east! Do not play the fool like King Herod! Wise men will always seek Jesus!
