No Risk It! No Biscuit! Revelation 3:8

“I know thy works, behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it, for though hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and has not denied my name.” Commentary: Works! This word translates not just one act but an accumulation of acts! The Book of Acts! Faith without works is dead! What is this open door? Access to heaven! To have the time left in your life to preach the Gospel to the whole world! To your community where you live! To your neighbor! To the clerk at Walmart! Access to heaven through his word and prayer! When danger comes you can go to Jesus in prayer! You can thank him for those victories over Satan! There is power in the name of Jesus! Jesus is with you through every challenge and every danger! All things work together for good! He will be in the fiery furnace with you! Why did the church in Philadelphia have just a little strength? Perhaps from persecution from Rome? In my weakness I find his perfect strength! David found this out with Goliath! The widow fed Elijah! The widow gave more to the offering than all the rich men! She gave all she had! Are you giving your all for Christ? Are you risking today for the promises of tomorrow? This church kept his word! They called sin out as described in his word! They trusted his promises! Today was surrendered for the promises of the future! His word is the mind, will and purposes of God for you! They did not deny his name! No happy holidays but Merry Christmas! They did not fear the Christ in Christmas or deny his name! The reward to the believer is the open door to heaven! He closes the door on the foolish! An open door to Christ brings revelation! The purposes of God are established in you! He shows you things to come that no man can see! You become prophetic! The hidden sins of men are exposed! He protects you from the evil one! We rest under the shadow of his wings! Persecuted yet protected! Despised and rejected yet welcomed by the Father! At peace with God while the world wars with him! Secure in his love! Eternal life! Are You Worth It? June 6, 1944 D-Day

Are we worthy of all the sacrifices our United States military members have made millions dying on the battle field over all our wars since 1776? Men sacrificing their fortunes, futures, health and their very breath for you? Losing limbs, minds and families for you! Are you worthy of their sacrifices? When you study your Bible you learn true love demands a sacrifice! God sacrificed himself for you on a Cross some 2000 years ago! You a sinner worthy of death yet he took your death upon himself! I am not worthy of his sacrifice yet accepting his love for me makes me worthy! All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God! God valued us worthy of his sacrifice! I cannot repay millions of American military members who laid down their lives for me and the freedom I have today living in the land of liberty! I can only receive their sacrifices they made for me undeserving as I am and receiving their love for me and country understanding my living and enjoying the freedoms they provided for me will always be less than the sacrifices they made for us making it possible! Got It Wrong Again!

If the all powerful god controls Satan he is an accomplice, and he doesn’t, he is not the all powerful god. Friederich Nietzsche (1844-1900) Marxist, German Philosopher. His most famous disciple was Adolf Hitler. Commentary: First of all God controls no one! How do we know this? Because he has given us choices! Control is about taking your choices away from you! You can chose life or death! If we make bad choices then we can lose our freedom of choices! Lucifer, the fallen angel chose to rebel against God in heaven! One third of the angels in heaven followed him in this rebellion and they were cast out of heaven into the earth where they try to influence you to make bad choices! Jesus chose the Cross for you! He did not have to go to the Cross! Out of love he gave up his choice to live to die for your sin! Love demands a choice! The enemy of freedom is to remove your choices! We decide which doctor you can see! We decide where you can live or work! We will make you dependent on us! We decide who lives or dies! Abortion! Our death panel medical board will decide whether you get medical care! People choose heaven or hell! The law is given to us by God to protect us! Thou shall not kill. The inner city children in Chicago have not been taught the Commandments of God! The law given to us is to protect us from ourselves and others! God’s Kingdom is about choices! Some reject Christ and others embrace him! Even in heaven for those in Christ we still have a choice however those in hell have given up their choices! You have one time on this earth to make a choice for Christ! The angels have a choice! To accept or reject God! Lucifer, the fallen angel became Satan because he chose to rebel against God and his Christ! Love demands a choice! God chose you before the world began! Why not choose him today? They Got It Wrong!

In truth, there was only one Christian and he died on the Cross! Friederich Nietzsche (1844-1900), German Philosopher, Hero of Adolph Hitler. Comment: His criticism of Christianity involved fascism and evolution. The truth is there is only one Christ and billions of Christians in history! In fact today one third of the earth are Christian! Being a Christian is to make Christ my Savior yet I will never be Christ! I can display Christ like behavior but that does not save me! Only Christ! Mahatma Gandhi got wrong in the same way when he was quoted as saying, “I would be a Christian were it not for a Christian.” Being a Christian will never save me or you! Only Christ can do that! To trust Christ not a Christian for your salvation is critical! Our job is to point people to Christ! We are saved sinners! Saved sinners in Heaven and unsaved sinners in hell. Hitler was a product of Darwinism! In 1859 Charles Darwin set the 20th Century up for a World War! Fascism comes out of Darwin! Hell comes out of Darwin! What did and will happen with Darwinism is that the followers will lose patience with natural selection and implement political policies that in their minds speed up natural selection! This is what we see with abortion! Hitler thought that the way to speed up natural selection is to remove the undesirables from the face of the earth! He though this will speed up evolution by millions of years! Why is this important to the Christian? Because Darwinism did not die with Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Marx, Lenin or the Emperor of Japan! It is taught in our public schools here in America as a science? The political left is promoting Darwinism or Evolution characteristics! Nietzsche has hundreds of quotes and I will select other quotes where he bashes Christianity! Paul said be ready to give an answer for our faith! What you will discover is the twisting of the truth of our Savior and why the same rejection exists on the political left today here in America! Dump It!

As your Pastor I must say drinking is the most destructive sin ever devised by Satan! Millions of casualties! If I could gather up all the whisky bottles in America I would dump them in the river! If I could gather up all the beer cans and bottles in America I would dump them in the river! I would take every keg of beer and hatchet them to pieces down by the river!
