Punxsutawney Phil!

This famous groundhog came out to see his shadow again! This time to see if the Congress was going to have at least six more weeks of hearings on impeaching President Trump? Phil got the bad news seeing his shadow cast upon the ground that the Democrats were going to waste another six weeks of his life! He has gone into depression back to his burrow and has promised us he will not come out again until February 2020!

Two Witnesses! Revelation 11:3

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days (3 1/2 years), clothed in sackcloth. Comment: So who are these two witnesses? The word witness means to bring to remembrance! Jesus said do this in remembrance of me! We are to remember what Jesus prophesized about the end times as we are half way through the seven year tribulation period in this chapter eleven! Notice in the earlier verse the Jewish Temple at Jerusalem has been rebuilt! That has not happened yet! Future! The Holy city has been tread down by the Gentiles for 3 1/2 years! The Jews have discovered they have been betrayed by the Anti-Christ in the middle of the Tribulation and he goes into the Temple as demands worship as God! From scripture we know he will be Jewish and a homosexual! Most Bible scholars believe these two witnesses are Elijah and Enoch! Remember Elijah and Enoch did not physically die but were raptured from the earth! They did not experience the resurrection from the dead! Now in chapter eleven they get their chance to experience this great faith building event! Remember at the rapture of the church millions of Christian’s will miss the resurrection from the dead experience! However when the Saints return with Christ at the end of the tribulation they will have this experience at the last great battle on earth the Battle of Armageddon! Everyone will be raised from the dead! Some to everlasting life and some to everlasting judgment! It all depends on what you do with the Judge! Two Sides of Coin! John 3:36

Greek Translation: “He that believeth giving God credit trusting with confidence on the Son hath everlasting life in the spirit and the soul and he that believeth not in disobedience to the Son shall not see life; but the wrath and anger of God with vengeance.” Comment: Hold it Pastor? I just do not hear these kind of scriptures from the American pulpit anymore? God has two sides! Love and wrath! Why is the Book of Revelation largely ignored by the church today? Because it messes up their theology! The scriptures are cherry picked to the point where God becomes a teddy bear and the more you squeeze him the more stuff he gives you! Today at least in America number one best sellers are all about me! Selfish as hell! Jet airplanes! Million dollar mansions! A lot of money to be made in the God business! If you just compromise the scriptures you can become popular! God is love! But his love is based upon the sacrifice of his Son for our sin on Calvary! Sin is never mentioned anymore and the specific sins in the scriptures are ignored such as homosexuality? Heaven and Hell are never mentioned? This is a strange time in history? Like the church has joined the world? So how is God’s wrath appeased? How do you escape the wrath of God? By accepting the sacrifice of God’s only Son made for your sin! God’s anger was poured out on his only Son! This is the love of God! But if you reject his love vengeance does not escape you? So what are my sins? Read your Bible! You will not hear them from the American pulpit anymore! The only sin that will doom you forever is to reject Jesus Christ! All judgment is given to the Son! If you went before an earthly judge and blasphemed his name just before sentencing what would this judge do to you? Stop being stupid and plead your case and repent to the King of the earth and judge of Heaven and earth today! Plead guilty and be set free! No earthly judge will do this! Jesus walked through the fires of Hell so you would not have to! Jesus has the keys to heaven and hell! Let him open the prison door to escape the flames! We are under Grace but only because the law for our sin was paid for Jesus on the Cross! Never try to pay for your own sins! It will condemn you to separation from God forever! James and Hamsa Sasse. Signs! Luke 21:25

Greek Translation: “And there shall be signs or miracles with an ethical purpose in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity having no way out; the sea and the waves roaring.” Comment: So what is the ethical purpose of these signs? The return or second coming of Jesus Christ back to the earth! So really bad weather is a good sign! So what is the sign in the sun? Global warming! All the planets are heating up not just the earth! Sun spot activity increasing! So when the sea heats up more moisture goes into the air and we get more rain and floods on the land! But what does the rain do? It cools down the earth! God has this figured out my friend! The roaring of the seas puts more moisture in the air! Floods can destroy crops and bring famines! Another sign! It is so funny watching the evolutionary atheists propose the Green New Deal! Are they going to build a lamp shade and cover the sun? Take away our fossil fuel and we will all become cavemen and women again! They actually as fools believe they can stop these signs of Christ’s return? Another Tower of Babel! Instead of acknowledging God they in their puny human efforts try to stop him! Our sin is against God not the planet! Earthquakes! The earth is crying out for redemption! The Bible calls all these signs birth pains! They will increase in intensity with much pain until the Messiah returns and life is born again into the earth! The signs are preparing us for Christ’s soon return! This Good News is prophetic! The unbeliever’s in the earth panic while we in Christ understand what is going on! They panic because they know Judgment is on the way for them! They have rejected the one who took their judgment on the Cross! Temptation? Matthew 6:13

“Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.” Comment: The word temptation in the Greek can mean for either good or evil depending on who is doing the tempting! God tempts us to do good! That is to trust him in faith to deliver us from evil by his Word! Satan tempts us to do evil by trusting in our own works! So if God is tempting it is for our good but if Satan tempting it is for our destruction! So who is the source of temptation in verse 13? Satan! Deliver us from evil! The prayer is Lord stop the tempter and deliver us from him! Pope Francis wants to change this rendering to read” Do not let us fall into temptation.” We have to remember that Satan leads men into temptation to do evil! God tempts no man to do evil! James 1:13. We do not fall into temptation like an accident! We are led into temptation! God leads his flock and Satan leads his flock! I began my life by following Satan but now I follow Jesus! Our path is determined by who we follow! Adam and Eve were tempted by Satan in the Garden of Eden! They had to decide was it God or Satan who was telling the truth? Satan told Eve God was a liar! The same holds true for today! Jesus was tempted by Satan! Turn these stones into bread! Jump off the temple Mount his angels will catch you! Jesus countered Satan with the Word of God! It is written….. Satan is the same liar today in the 21st Century! God is the same God! The first temptation Satan will try on you is to not believe God’s word or your Holy Bible! Following Satan leads to sin! God has offered you forgiveness if you repent! The sins God opposes by his Word in the 21st Century are; Abortion, Evolution, homosexuality, transgenderism, Lesbianism, Atheism, drugs, murder, robbery, fornicators, adultery, divorce, pornography, gambling and the list goes on! If we do not believe God and his Word then these sins are not looked at as sins and Satan has deceived you with a lie! Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin and the Emperor of Japan all followed Charles Darwin! They rejected Christ! Hitler believed he could speed up evolution by millions of years by getting rid of the undesirables on planet earth! Racism is promoted by rejecting Creation and embracing evolution! Normandy is full of graves because a few men in power rejected Christ! How you pray this prayer is not as important as understanding what you are praying! Remember God created your life and Satan wants to destroy it!
