Leviticus 26:25 “And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant; and when you are gathered together within my cities, I will send the pestilence among you: and you shall be delivered into the hand of your enemy.” Comment: The world has a quarrel with God’s Covenant! The word “quarrel” in the Hebrew means a vengeance or punishment from God! My Bible tells me that God says vengeance is mine! God is love and he also takes vengeance against the Covenant breakers! How do we know this! He has a special place for them called “Hell.” You say well I thought God had mercy? He did for you on the Cross! Reject the Cross and break the Covenant! There is a world wide purge going on right now! What will it take for people to turn to God? Except for one family Noah the world rejected God! Except one family the homosexuals of Sodom and Gomorrah rejected God! We cannot be in love with this world for it will perish! Now is the time to fall in love with God! If this Corona virus mutates and comes back it will be much more deadly than it is now! If it mutates into many strains then a vaccine will be very difficult to produce! If this epidemic comes back no government on earth has the resources to outlast it! No economic system will last! It will all collapse! Who do you trust right now? Your government? Your money? Do you have a quarrel with God’s Covenant? Jesus said there will come a day when a man will have to work a whole day’s wage to buy a loaf of bread! Famine follows plagues! Do you reject Christ? Jesus said if you are lukewarm I will spew you out of my mouth! Now is the time to be boiling hot for God! Yet I see no National call to repentance from his Church in America? Strange as fiction! Let go of the things that will perish! Let go of self and embrace the Savior! God is cleansing his House! We have ignored God as a nation for too long! The wages of sin is death! Obedience or Plagues?
Leviticus 26:21 “And if you walk contrary to me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.” Comment: What God is telling us in this chapter that we need to keep his Commandments and Statutes! Make no idols! Keep the Sabbath! Revere my Sanctuary! Do not break my Covenant! If you do these things then I will dwell among my people! Blessings will come! Your enemies will not defeat you! One of the plagues listed in this chapter is a burning fever! God will always judge sin! He is righteous and Holy in him there is no sin! He will always punish sin! This is why he took his only begotten Son and put him on a Cross! He took our plagues upon himself! He became our judgment for us! This is the love of God! However if we reject the blood covenant sacrificial work of Christ then judgment is not stayed but loosed on us as a people and a nation! If no sacrifice for your sin then judgment will follow you! Judgment is like a blood hound following your scent of sin! We have no power within ourselves to defeat it! It will defeat us! Sin will consume you! God consumed your sin on a Cross for you! He took your plagues upon himself! If you reject this only sacrifice for your sin then the plagues are not stayed but released on us! No one by themselves has ever beat sin! Sin and death was defeated by God for you! However to reject Christ is to remove his protection over you! To void your eternity in heaven with him! It still gets down to a choice! God chose our sin and death to deliver us from it on the Cross! For you not to choose him is to crucify him again! Then there is no provision for sin and judgment follows you forever! Suffering! Luke 24:25-26
“Then Jesus said to his disciples. O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and enter into his glory?” Comment: Sometimes we as believers in Christ will play the fool and listen to the lies of the world too much! Where are the prosperity preachers now here in America? Have they not gone into hiding with the rest of us? The gift of life here on earth is a very short time granted to us by God to prepare us for Heaven! Some will go unprepared! The main event of your life will be after death when we stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ! What will be your defense for rejecting him? Did you play the fool and mock Christ while here on earth? Who really holds your future? Christ does! He judges the living and the dead! So why do you trust your mortality? Why trust in the arm of flesh that will perish? Jesus did not trust his flesh! He was God and man! His divinity raised him from the dead and so will he do with you! If this Coronavirus causes you to trust in Christ this will be the greatest thing that will ever happen to you! My death bed experience was the best thing that ever happened to me! I found the light at the end of the tunnel and it was not a train it was Christ! He was waiting for me! We in Christ do not want to be the slow to believe people! After Jesus was raised from the dead his disciples had a hard time believing the facts? Do you believe the facts of the Holy Scriptures? Do you believe God enough to read and study your Bible daily? Fake news will always oppose the Good News! Which voice will you follow? The truth or a lie? If you listen to the voice of God those mocking Christ today on earth and in Hell have no hold on your future! My future and your future has everything to do with Christ! No success in this world will defer you from the main event! Why? Time will run out! Get off your side show and follow Christ! Wise men still seek him! No mortal on earth can save another mortal! Christ is more than a man! He is God in the flesh! No one cheats death! Your undertaker will not be able to raise you from the dead! He will just lower you into the ground! Bat Worship & Plagues!
The worship of bats dates to earliest times and may have its origins in Late Paleolithic cattle herding. The bat was the chief goddess of Seshesh, otherwise known as Hu or Diospolis Parva, the 7th Nome of Upper Egypt. The village of Rampur Ratnakar in Bihar State India is known for bat worship!
