Who Is God?

“And Moses said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O’ Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiff necked people, and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and make us thine inheritance.” Commentary: Inheritance means to take ownership of something! It is not earned but in relationship to someone. Did you ever inherit a pile of junk? Grandpa left you his 25 yeqr old Ford truck with the fenders fallen off and a pile of rust! Grandma left you her old sewing machine. Makes you wonder if they really loved you? What they were living with is what they left you! It does not men they did not love you but gave you what they had! If they gave you love then that is more than all the riches of this world! When Moses asked God to make us your inheritance he knew he did not want to insult God! He asked God to pardon our sin and clean us up! Clean the fish before you fry them! Moses asked God if we have found grace with you then! Grace is God doing for you what you cannot do for yourself! Save us O’ Lord! God has taken Israel over the centuries as his own protecting them and guarding them! Why? Out of Zion shall come a deliverer! Moses for the Jews and Christ for the Gentiles! He has prepared a people for himself! His preparation is his plan for your life! That is what his love is all about! Jesus said I have gone to prepare a place for you! If it were not true I would have said so! Satan has come to steal and destroy your inheritance! He tries to trick you into missing your inheritance! You are God’s inheritance but he wants you to doubt and reject the Savior with his lies about God! He wants you to reject his love for you! Not all the Jews made it to the promise land! They refused to make themselves God’s own inheritance! They would not believe the promises of God to them? Stranger than fiction! Do you believe God wants to make you his own? That is what his love is all about! Why not love him back and receive the love he has left for you on that Old Cross? He has already owned you now just own him back! Receive him as your Savior! No good deed goes unpunished! If you stand up for law and order you will be punished! Criminals are rewarded and good citizens go to the back of the line! Illegals have more benefits than you the citizen does! If you do good deeds by paying your taxes then that money will be used to reward those doing bad deeds! My Bible says that one day good will be called evil and evil will be called good! We have now arrived at this time in history and Bible prophecy! This simply means that those who hang unto good will be rewarded by the Christ that judges the living and the dead! Oppose evil as God does and through it all you will win! Win the favor of God and the promises of eternal life and the peace he offers you in the midst of a lost and dying world! Bring life by offering those in darkness Jesus the light of the world! “Jesus answered, My Kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not for this reason.” Commentary: Jesus did not get elected to office! He is not a member of a political party! Even though Jesus created the world we live in he came to earth from another Kingdom to lead people to an eternal kingdom that will never perish! So was there ever politics in heaven? Remember Lucifer who became Satan? He started a political party in heaven against God himself! A political revolution! Can you believe it he got 33 percent of the vote! It must have been the slow group? So they get kicked out of heaven to earth and now they are the politicians running the earth! How are we doing? So God had to send back to earth his Son to be the sacrifice for our sin! Interestingly 33 percent of the earth’s population today are Christian! Jesus did get down on the politicians sometimes! He called King Herod a fox! He told the religious politicians they were headed for hell! However he did tell us to render unto Caesar what is his in taxes and pay your tithes to God! Jesus is the King of kings! Above every king! His Kingdom has no end! The Democrat and Republican parties will come to an end one day! But Jesus Kingdom will continue forever! He has no beginning and he has no end! He existed before his birth on earth and he exists after his crucifixion raised from the dead! He has promised to raise all from the dead some to everlasting life and some to eternal judgment! Do you want to fill out a registration card for heaven? Your name in the Book of Life?
