“And the Temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power, and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.” Commentary: WOW! The seven last plagues! In world history we have had about 20 major plagues including the Coronavirus. But these coming seven last plagues will end all plagues! Why? Where there is smoke there is fire! Smoke from what? The sacrifice in the Temple! God poured out his sacrifice of his only Son on a Cross for the sin of the world! The Temple here to enter into the presence of God is closed for business! The Mercy seat is not available! The period of Grace has ended! His redemption is complete for man and now the door is closed upon all men! Their opportunity is now over! Judgment falls on the world because they rejected his Son who took their judgement upon himself! The party of the wicked on earth is over! The only judgment left for the unrepentant sinner is his own judgment manifested in these seven last plagues on earth! For those in Christ Grace never ends! For those outside of Christ who have rejected him grace ends at death! Then the judgment! Today the door of redemption is still open but not forever to those that mock him and his followers! To reject the love of God is the only crime you cannot get away with! Redemption is not forever but judgment is!
