Deaf to the Truth?

1 John 4:6 “We are of God: he that [knoweth] God [heareth] us; he that is not of God knoweth not us. Hereby know we the Spirit of truth, and the Spirit of [error].” Commentary: Let us examine the four bracketed Greek words in this passage of scripture. The first word is “knoweth.” How do we know God? Jesus said we must be born again! Not to just know about God but to personally know him! Knoweth means to know him by relationship like a man knowing his wife! Knowing with intuition! I know when my wife loves me and I know when my wife is mad at me! To perceive and understand and distinguish the character of God from all others! Our next word is “heareth.” In the Greek it means to hear with the ear of the mind! My biggest problem in school was I heard my teachers but my mind was somewhere else! Did you ever have this problem? During school I would think about what I was going to do when I got off the school bus back to the farm? My pet duck and my dog jigs would be patiently waiting for me at the end of the lane then walking back with me to the house! Jigs would wag his tail and so did my duck! School was a distraction for me! Then I would get my rifle and me and jigs would go rabbit hunting! Then I would feed my duck who ate out of my hands and take him for a swim in our cattle watering tank. I also had to feed my pet pigeons who lived in our smoke house where we cured sausage. You know you can go to church but your mind can be somewhere else. Then the Pastor wonders why his congregation is so dense? Unless we hear with our minds you will learn nothing! As Sergeant Schultz used to say on Hogan’s Hero’s, “I know nothing!” Our next word is “truth.” It is unveiled in a person! Truth is the unveiled reality lying at the basis of and agreeing with appearance of that reality! If you never agree with Christ and the Gospel you will never experience truth! Our last word is “error.” From the Greek word we get out English word fraudulent! You know like fraudulent elections! To reject the truth means by deceptions and lies about Christ you become a fraud! You will either follow the Spirit of truth or the Spirit of error! Do you reject the error or fraud of Darwin, Marxism, Communism, Socialism, Atheism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Secularism, Homosexualism, Lesbianism, Transsexualism, Gay marriage, Nazi, Fascism, Abortion, Cancel culture, Global warming and the Spirits of Anti-Christ? When was Jesus Born?

Glad you asked! If I were God I would tell you! There are many ways scholars interpret the estimated date of Jesus birth! From Biblical and historical events and astrological events during the time of his birth. For example the reign of King Herod the Great. The date of the decree for taxation made by Caesar. Even to the type of sheep grazed and birthing at that time and their birthing times according to history. The methods are various but they all zero in on a accurate time frame of when Jesus was born! The priestly order of Zachariah and his time of priestly administration in the Temple is another way to cross check this date! I will give you one method among many methods that are used! If I do not use just one method we will end up publishing a book on this subject! According to Luke Chapter 3 Jesus began his ministry when he was thirty years old. Jesus began preaching after being baptized by John the Baptist. Based upon Luke’s Gospel John began baptizing people in the 15th year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar or about A.D. 28-29. By working backwards Jesus was probably born no later than 1 B.C. Herod the Great died after the January eclipse of 1 B.C. or even 1 A.D. after the eclipse that occurred in December of 1 B.C. Did You Know? Vaccine

The COVID-19 vaccine has used cell lines from aborted fetuses for research! The Vatican, Pope Francis has told the Catholics that it would be morally accepted to take the vaccine? Everyone has to decide for themselves but I will not take this vaccine! I cannot knowingly take a vaccine developed using murdered babies sacrificing them in the name of science? Absurd! This is where Darwin takes us! I told my family I will not hold any grudges if they elect to take the vaccine. What will happen if this is not resisted is more and more babies will be aborted in the name of science! When I die I will stand before my Christ! Plagues & Repentance!

Commentary: The word plague in the Hebrew is Strong’s #5061. This word appears about 75 times in the Old Testament. However different English words are used in translated passages for this Hebrew root word as we shall see! The plague is acquired by physical contact with something God forbids! Sin! It could be from eating birds of prey like the bat that God forbids in the Book of Leviticus! Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden that led to physical death to all mankind! It could be acquired like AIDS from homosexual activity! The outcome from plagues can have very different outcomes based upon the scriptures! What did King David say in Psalm 38:11? “My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my [sores] and my kinsman stand afar off.” Sores is another English word for the Hebrew root word plague! The Coronavirus leads to social isolation! All plagues lead to this fact! In Psalm 39:10 David says, “Remove thy {stroke] away from me, I am consumed by the blow of thy hand.” The English word stroke is the same Hebrew root word for plague, Strong’s #5061. Now some good news! In Psalm 91:10 David says, “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any [plague] come nigh thy dwelling.” The Hebrew word plague translated here is the same Strong’s 5061. More good news in Isaiah 53:8 a Messianic prophecy says, “He (Jesus) was taken from prison and from judgment, and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he [stricken].” Stricken is the same word for plague, Strong’s 5061. So will a plague consume you or stay away from your dwelling place? Unforgiven sin is the foundation of all judgment and judgment by God! Repentance is critical for deliverance from all plagues! Not just church attendance but repentance! So how bad does it need to get before the Pastor’s across America call for National repentance? I have not heard of one Pastor calling for National repentance? Repentance for abortion, gay marriage, homosexuality, transgenderism, atheism, Marxism, Darwinism, drugs, witchcraft, open borders, disrespect of all authority both spiritual and civil. The cancel culture and mockery of the Christian faith and National respect of America and her great history! Political correctness to remove all vestiges of Christ in our culture! If you think a vaccine is your Savior then you are a fool! If you do not trust Christ through this world wide epidemic then you have no protection! Things are not bad enough for National repentance yet so we wait until we get to a point where there is a spiritual awaking among those that see Christ is their only hope!
