Sin & Redemption!

Psalm 119:6 “Then I shall not be ashamed when I have respect unto all thy Commandments.” Comment: Let us look at the word “ashamed” in the Hebrew. First this word has the opposite meaning of trusting God! The word means to be deceived, confused and then disgraced! Sin is a deception! It is presented to us as an alternative to God by Satan. When you work sin into your life you work God out of your life! Satan replaces God as your master. Satan promises you life but delivers death! He will try to influence you to trust in your own ways! When David trusted God he slew Goliath and the enemies of Israel! When David disrespected God and his commandments his affair with Bathsheba brought public shame and then the baby died! We become very different people when we no longer trust God but ourselves! The word ”Commandments’ we have previously covered however there are different aspects of this word. A commandment is like a contract to the deed for the purchase of a property. If we fulfil our part of the contract then the benefit is executed to us. This was the principle of God’s covenant to Israel. If you keep my commandments then I will bless you and defeat your enemies and bless your land! The problem was men always broke the commandments of God! The same problem today! So God had to sacrifice his Son or himself to execute his promise of redemption for us! God was ashamed of us but in his love for us took our shame upon himself to death on a Cross! Sin should be more offensive to us after the Cross than before the Cross because of the great cost to God! The real purpose of sin promoted by Satan is to shame God! When our shame is removed by God from us by repentance we are free from shame and begin a new life with no guilt of the past and promises of a good future here on earth and in heaven! Commentary on Lincoln!

We the people are the masters of both the Congress and the Courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.   Abraham Lincoln   Commentary: The American civil war was more about protecting our Constitution which required action on slavery! Liberty and justice for all! It was a war of brother against brother and church against church! Along the Mason Dixon Line churches to the north of the line supported the Union and south of the line they supported the Confederacy! The dividing line of the civil war was along our Constitution and slavery! Lincoln along with six hundred thousand men sacrificed their lives over our Constitution! Lincoln believed our Constitution for present and future generations was more important than his life! Today do you think the Constitution is more important than your life? The battles in the Congress, Senate, Courts and the White House and the Deep State is a war between those who want to sacrifice the Constitution for their own political gain to stay in power than those who are willing to sacrifice their own lives for the Constitution! Our young men and women in our military think America is worth their sacrifices! Those in political power who try to sacrifice American citizens for their gain must be removed from office! In the 21st Century church I see an unwillingness to stand for Biblical values in our popular culture! The scriptures are not used to challenge the wickedness in our culture! Talk about Heaven but do nothing in the Church of The Here and Now! Our war is a war against principalities and powers of darkness in high places! Statutes!

Psalm 119:5 “O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes.” Comment: The Hebrew word “Statutes”, Strongs# 2706 & 2710, refers to laws, ordinances and boundaries. Our lips are a boundary where we have to be careful what we say! Speak for God and speak against those who oppose God! To speak to them you have to call out their sin! A boundary or a border if crossed has consequences! Notice the American political left wants no boundaries! No borders! For the one world government coming! The laws were first carved into stone with the finger of God and given to Moses! Then the Jews would copy and carve these laws into stone and metal for public display. The political left does not want these laws displayed in public! We copy his Commandments because we want to copy God’s character! We have a copy of the Ten Commandments hanging in our living room! We get our word statue from statutes! We make copies of great American hero’s by making statues of them in public display! Notice the political left wants to tear them down and destroy them! The word statutes is also connected with legal rights and opportunities! Notice the political left wants illegal rights (gay marriage), turned into legal rights!  They legalize the illegal! As hard as men tried they could never keep the Commandments! Jesus the Son of God was cut and carved up on a Cross because men failed the standard of holiness! The nail prints are in his hands! The scar of the spear in his side! The scars of the thirty nine stripes on his back! The bruises on his body were all visible at his resurrection to his disciples! At his second coming they will be visible to you! So why are the Commandments still important even though we cannot keep them? Jesus said if you love me keep my Commandments! His Commandments remind us of our failures and Jesus victory over our sin! When you fall short of a Commandment give it to Jesus who fulfilled it for you by death on a Cross! We love the Commandments of God because they cost him so much to keep them for us in penalty of death for our failures! Coronavirus & Bat Soup

Leviticus 11:19 “And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.” Comment: God has given us dietary laws for our own health and welfare! The Coronavirus out of China and the Ebola virus out of Africa all are connected to the eating of bats! These cultures were starving in past generations so they ate what they could find! However then these foods became a delicacy in their cultures! The Chinese are even trying to promote this delicacy here in America! These birds of prey are forbidden for consumption because they eat other animals who are diseased and pass it on to humans if consumed! The complete list of these fish and animals are found in Leviticus Chapter eleven! Also pork, shrimp and fish without scales are forbidden! These creatures feed on the bottom of the ocean or streams consuming toxic chemicals resting of the bottom of the waters! Pork and shrimp are one third cholesterol! Over time they clog your arteries and blood vessels causing strokes and heart attacks! Over the years I have asked Pastors about these dietary laws! Some told me this is Old Testament so just pray over your food and ask God to bless it! Just pray over your bat? If God tells me not to do something and then I go ahead and do it and then pray over it to ask God to bless it do we think God is a fool? If I violate the Ten Commandments and commit adultery then ask God to bless it I am a fool! The scriptures never get old with time! In fact time proves them irrevocable and eternal! I wish the Bible had been divided into First and Second Testaments! Remember without the Old Testament we never would have had the New Testament! Relationship!

When you come into relation with another person the question you have to ask is do I want to get on the same ship with their destination? Where are they going? Are you on the Gospel Ship with them or are they going in a different direction with a different destination! Once you get on the wrong ship it is very difficult to abandon ship! There are only two possible ships you can board! One is sailing to Heaven and the other is sailing to Hell! Who you hang around with determines the ship you choose to sail with determines your destination! Peter got out of the boat but he was still saved because of his relationship with Christ! If in relationship with the wrong people abandon ship into the arms of Jesus! If they will not follow Jesus better alone with Jesus and then he will send the right people into your life! Protecting God’s Word!

Psalm 119:4 Hebrew Translation: “God has commanded us to establish, make firm and appointed us with the authority as a Commander to keep or build a hedge with thorns around as a garden or as a shepherd over his flock to keep safe and preserve his Commandments or statutes and laws. To inspect, review and preserve them and they are entrusted to you to be responsible to them and for them.” Comment: Are you in charge of God’s Word or is popular culture in charge of you? I would rather be popular with God than with men! Is evolution in charge of you? Is homosexuality in charge of you? Is transgenderism in charge of you? Is lesbianism in charge of you? Is political correctness in charge of you? Are the abortionist in charge of your babies? Are sanctuary cities in charge of you protecting criminals from you? Or is God in charge of you? Is socialism and open borders and the one world government in charge of you? What political leaders do you vote for and submit to? Who have you voted for to be in charge of you? Do they protect God’s Word in our culture or trash God’s Word? Do they themselves mock and violate God’s Word? Do they attack and mock Jews and Christians? Do they turn God’s Commandments into hate crimes? Do they call evil good and good evil? Do you accept or reject God’s authority to preserve and promote his Commandments in our culture? Are you a little mouse who runs from the slightest resistance of God’s Word? If you are any of the above then repent and read and study God’s Word to understand that if he cannot trust you with his Word down here in earth you will relinquish the right to sit with him in Heaven! Winners & Losers!

It seems like over the past three years the Democrats have tried to orchestrate bad news in the midst of good news of a booming economy and other successes both foreign and domestic of the Trump administration! With the 24-7 news cycle of constant Mueller investigation and impeachment news I have had to defend myself by changing the channels on my Television! Do you realize how many episodes of Forensic Files I have watched over the past three years? I decided to go to this program where there was a real crime! I would at least stay awake watching these episodes where they used science to solve the crimes! I really learned about science watching these programs! They were educational! Every time a Democrat would talk about taking my Second Amendment rights away I would watch another episode of Gunsmoke! Then I would go to the shooting range and burn up another box of shells to hone my gun skills in case of a government coup! Then I would read my Bible to see how all this turns out? God wins and Satan loses! I want to be on the winning side of history! I follow winners! Not losers! That is why I follow Jesus Christ! That is why we will vote for Trump again!
