Romans 16:1-2 “I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon in the church in Cenchreae, I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of his people and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been the benefactor of many people, including me.” Apostle Paul Commentary: The promotion of women was the sea change that Christ brought to the first Century church! Remember the woman caught in adultery and the religious folks wanted to stone her and Jesus asked them let he without sin cast the first stone! Genderism was promoted by the church without the disfigurement of gender unlike 21st Century America! Through promotion of abortion, homosexuality, lesbianism, transgenderism, gay marriage, sex changes for children and every other sin against God and man! Why does Satan have a war on women? For the answer you have to go back to the Book of Genesis! God said the seed of the woman will crush the head of the serpent! Through the incarnation of God in Christ the virgin birth women were elevated in a culture hostile to gender and women! We have lost ground here in America today only because the culture has cast off Christ and then subsequently has cast off all restraints! The vacuum left is filled with a brood of vipers! The wisdom of man is foolishness to God! Evil is promoted and good is demoted! So our only hope is this culture returning to Christ! Twas the night before Christmas and all through the white house, not a creature was stirring not even an electric mouse; The stockings were hung by the cold chimney with care but nothing to spare in hopes Nicholous would have food to put in there; The children were nestled all snug in their beds while their gas was shut off right before bed. While visions of sugar plums danced in their heads while reality said who put the sour grapes on our heads? We settled our brains for a long winter nap when we realized our president was just doing another nap!

Yes everything this Biden Administration does is intentional! From the war on fossil fuel to inflation itself! So inflation harms American middle class families so how does it help government? Our government is so deep in debt it could never payoff the debt with a strong dollar! However they could manage the debt with an inflated dollar paying down the strong debt borrowing with an inflated dollar! That is a weak dollar is needed to help payoff old debt! So all you see and the inflated prices from gas to groceries to building materials to almost everything is planned by the people you put in office by casting your vote for Biden! “Let everyone of us please his neighbor for his good to edification.” Commentary: Did you ever notice encouraging your neighbor and building him up is a more difficult challenge than in previous generations! Due to automation, computers, television, social media and a host of other platforms you can just Google your problem and look for help! It might be good advice or not good? All these things have helped to divide our nation! When my neighbor has a car problem I will go over and bring my test equipment and try to help him! Sometimes I am successful and sometimes not! Alot of these newer vehicles because they have so many computers on board you need a five thousand dollar tester to figure it out! But my neighbor knows I care! I care about him! Lately I have been experimenting with my vehicle how to get better gas mileage! When I find something that helps I share it on our Blog as a public service bulletin! I also share the side effects along with the benefits! When I had a lawn mower I would loan to my neighbor when his was broken down! If we go into food shortages later this year store some up for your neighbor as well as for your family! The old saying is people care when they know you care! The military commander answered, “I acquired this citizenship with a large sum of money”, and the Apostle Paul said, “But I was actually born a citizen.” And the chief captain answered, with a great price I obtained this freedom. And Paul said, “But I was free born”. Commentary: The apostle Paul was born in Tarsus. It was a free city in that Mark Antony gave the city citizenship status so when Paul was born there he became a Roman citizen by birth! This Roman authority was not born a citizen but was legalized by paying a large sum of money! He was probably a Greek or a Syrian. The Jews tried to get Paul arrested by the Roman authorities because he was preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ! The Roman soldiers bound Paul and were about to flog Paul when he declared his Roman citizenship! The soldiers were frightened because to punish a Roman citizen without due process meant death for them! Paul went on appealing to Caesar spending years in Rome preaching the Gospel and writing letters to the churches while his stay in Rome was paid by the government! Eventually he was executed in Rome which a few short centuries later became the Holy Roman Empire the center of Christianity for centuries to come! Your value as an American citizen should be worth something! To be a legal immigrant in Rome you had to pay a huge sum of money! So the citizens of Rome were then highly valued! So as hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants flood across our open southern border does this increase your value as an American citizen? No! It devalues you! Your tax money goes to support them! So what are you left with? A crime waves as they flood your communities with stealing, drugs and felonies committed against your people! Unsafe neighborhoods and your resources in your communities stretched beyond capacities! Instead of the illegals paying our government they pay the drug cartels to get them here millions of dollars! When our own government breaks the law to devalue her own citizens what can we do? Go to the voting booth this November and make some changes! Put people in authority over you who respect you the American citizen! Rodney Dangerfield used to joke I get no respect but sadly it is a reality today from our own government! Own it and change it! In a single day some 4400 Americans lost their lives storming the beaches of Normandy with 10000 more wounded or gone missing! At the end of WWII 407000 Americans killed in action along with 12000 civilians and tens of thousands wounded! Without authority WWII would never had been won! What do I mean? Millions of young Americans going down to their draft boards and by law taking an oath to defend America even with their life if necessary! Without the respect of authority we never would have won WWII. In any culture without respect to authority only anarchy and chaos will prevail! Our Bible talks about a day that everyone will do right in their own eyes! That is the lines between right and wrong are blurred to the point where good will be called evil and evil will be called good! Without a respect of God and his laws civil authority becomes meaningless! If there is no God why obey? I will just take what I want whenever the opportunity offers me a chance to be lawless! We have reached a crisis point here in America where our elected leaders who are put into positions of authority have themselves no respect for authority! This is what is happening right before our eyes today! Whether it be no enforcement of our southern border to defund the police departments to district attorneys who do not prosecute criminals or record number of policemen killed on duty to parents who are treated as terrorist by law enforcement because they disagree with a public school policy that harms their children! Where our political opponents weaponize law enforcement to go after their political opponents! When you vote this November remember to elect people that respect our laws and live by those same laws we have to live by! Elect people who will enforce the laws on our books and bring consequences to those that do not live by the law! God has a reason for a heaven and a hell. Everyone needs a reason to follow the law including our leaders! If the system becomes so corrupt that people believe they do not have to follow the law then chaos and anarchy will follow! The young Americans who on D-Day sacrificed for the present you and me that we would have a better future! When people sacrifice others for themselves then we have no future! God sacrificed himself on a Cross to give us a future in heaven separated from hell forever! Lawlessness is Satan wanting to sacrifice you! Which sacrifice will you do? For others or for yourself? Romans 11:5 “Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.” Commentary: So what is a remnant? According to the Greek translation it is a group of people who fail or refuse to be absent! That is they are intentional! They live with purpose not by accident! The word time here means today in this season! Not yesterday! Not tomorrow! Living with opportunity in this season! Time is respected because it is a gift from God! His election! God chose you! God cast his vote for you! By his grace! He expects no return! If he did he would not have gone to the Cross for those that reject him! He died for you whether you appreciate it or not! There was a time when I rejected Christ! Then I recognized my error and repented! God did not change for he is the same yesterday, today and forever! I changed! I only serve Christ today because only he made it possible! So does God pick winners and losers? No! You decide whether you are a winner or a loser! He voted for you now you must decide to vote for him! For he died for the whole world! Grace allows you the time to recognize you cannot save yourself and you need the Savior! James & Hamsa Sasse.
