Gay Marriage

Adamson vs. California 1947 “In my judgment the people of no nation can lose their liberty so long as a Bill of Rights like ours survive and its basic purposes are conscientiously interpreted, enforced and respected so as to afford continuous protection against old, as well as new, devices and practices which might thwart those purposes. I fear to see consequences of the courts practice of substituting its owns concepts of decency and fundamental justice for the Bill of Rights as its departure in interpreting and enforcing the Bill of Rights.” Justice Hugo Black   Bill of Rights 8th Amendment. “The Powers delegated by the Constitution, are appropriated to the departments to which they are respectfully distributed so that the legislative branch shall never exercise the powers vested in the Executive or Judicial branch, nor the executive the powers in legislative or judicial, nor the judicial exercise the powers vested in the legislative or executive departments. The powers not delegated by this Constitution nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved for the States respectively.” Comment: Clear separation of Powers according to our Constitution! Hugo Black in his wisdom saw the light at the end of the tunnel and it was a train! Ramming gay marriage into American culture by the Supreme Court was a violation of the 8th Amendment of our Constitution by passing the will of the people who should have voted on this issue through the legislative branch! Judges are to interpret law not make law! That is the legislative branch responsibility to write and pass law! I do not like Executive Orders either! They are a violation of the 8th Amendment! Our freedom’s are violated every time one branch of government tries to do the job of the other branches of government! Hugo Black warned us of the disaster coming if we violated these principles!
