Blessings & Cursings?

So where do you hear these words the most spoken here in America? They are; “Jesus please help me! Help me Lord! I need your help bad!” You would be surprised not in church but at the Las Vegas gambling table just before the dice are thrown! But after they lose their bets what words do you suppose come out of the same mouth? I cannot print them here is this forum! Source: Mike Huckabee Show.

New Year Resolution 2021

My new year resolution is expressed in only one word! SURVIVE! We do not want any of our viewers out there to have a going away party for you that is a funeral for 2021! We do not live in fear but to be careful where we go and who we see during these troubling times! Your social life could get you killed! Limit social contact with yes even relatives! If the truth be known they do not like you anyway! Use that time that would otherwise be wasted to spend time reading your Bible and praying for our families and nation! Do not take trips from your home that could be consolidated with you doing more things in one trip. Did you know when we get to heaven all this stuff we are doing down here will stop! Use this time to prepare for heaven! Worship him in your own home for a change! Corporate worship will be on hold for some time! You will find out that you can live without everything except Jesus! Your pastor and your church cannot save you! Only Jesus! Once this storm passes we can get back to corporate worship! We must use wisdom during these difficult times! Keep your masks on and limit social contact! It is not all about me but all about them! Continue to use hand sanitizers all the time! When you have to make a decision think about your family and the implications of your decisions! Trust God to take you through 2021 and if it is our time to go home to Christ so be it! Live Through Him!

1 John 4:9 “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might[live] through him.” Commentary: A marriage would be a good example of one person living through another person! The two become one and the production of children! The word “live’ used in this scripture in the Greek means to live spiritually and eternally together! This word denotes a particular way of living. Christ quickens our mortal bodies! We live Holy and just justified by his sacrificial death on the Cross! Our mortality is swallowed up in the immortality of our Savior! His death for us brings his life into us! Death is conquered for us and our resurrection is guaranteed in his resurrection from the dead! God has a life independent of us so whether we live or die he always is! Eternal! We partake of his eternal life in relationship to us as he lives through us and we live in him! He is independent yet we are dependent on him for our existence came through him! We live under the constant guidance of his Holy Spirit! We receive as a gift what he has given us and what he is preparing for us! His plans become our plans! His will for us becomes our will regardless of what comes! We do not reject him because life gets challenging! Thy will be done! We trust him for our outcome according to his will! Not my will be done but your will be done! All things work together for good! His purpose for us is only found as we live in him! Let us look at the Apostle John! If the only snap shot of his life was to see him boiled in a pot of oil you might get discouraged! If you saw another snap shot of him being exiled to a slave labor camp on the Island of Patmos you could get discouraged! However as you read this scripture and the Book of Revelation written with the pen of John you would say I get it now! Every life is lived through someone else with very different outcomes! Was Robin Hood a Thief?

Proverbs 22:16 “He that oppresseth the poor to increase his riches, and he that giveth to the rich, shall surely come to want.” Commentary: According to Robin Hood legend he stole from the rich and gave to the poor! Sounds like Democrats again! The problem is Robin was still a thief! He stole from the rich! Did you notice in this scripture that robbing from the poor and giving to the rich are equal sins! How does this happen? This is what politics is all about! Raising taxes on the poor then taking these millions of dollars to get favors from the rich (donations) and then craft laws to favor the rich! The Clinton Foundation and the Biden Chinese accounts would be two good examples! Abortion is another example of robbing the poor of their children while being funded by our tax dollars to pay thousands of wealthy abortion providers the funds millions of dollars to suppress people in our inner cities in Democratic districts across America! Sadly the African American population are the biggest recipients of this butchery! Do you remember the rich young ruler? Jesus tried to minister to him! He told him he lacked only one thing! Sell all you have give to the poor and follow me! The guy could not give up his stuff! Jesus said give your stuff to the poor but he did not say rob from the rich to give to the poor! That would be socialism! Bernie Sanders says the rich must pay their fair share! When is he going to start? The fact is 90 percent of the taxes collected are paid by the rich already! Fifty percent of Americans do not pay any taxes! God asks us have we robbed him of our tithes and offerings? Stealing from God would probably be a bigger sin but that sin precedes all other sins! Jesus said render unto Caesar (State) what is his and render unto God (Tithes & Offerings), what is his! What 2020 has shown us is that everything is in the hands of God! Our life, resources, past, present and future! I will continue to follow Jesus in 2021! How about you? He has taken me through the shadow of death more than once in my life! He will do it for you if you will trust him more than anything else in 2021! Help the poor! Do good! Encourage the lost! Pray for the sick and our nation! This too shall pass!
