The number of car crashes is indeed plummeting due to lower traffic volumes but the injury and fatality rates are actually up! In Minnesota there were 24 crashes and 28 road deaths between March 16 and April 7. During the previous year between the same time period there were 12 crashes and 13 deaths! We need to flatten the curve! In New York City more motorists died in the period between March 2 and April 8 though vehicle traffic has dropped 80 percent! Commentary: With the cancel culture movement and the anti-cop movement I have here in Atlanta noticed more bad attitudes by drivers is much more prevalent now! I have witnessed drivers running stop signs and stop lights which I have never seen before? If you have a green light you need to still look both ways through every intersection! A lawless attitude has come across our city thinking the cops are afraid and not going to stop me! This attitude is proving deadly across America! We do not want traffic deaths to exceed COVID-19 deaths for 2020! Lawlessness always brings death and destruction regardless of nation or culture! My attitude as a Christian is that God gave us laws to protect life and property and even if the police do not see me God knows the thoughts and intentions of my heart! Devil in the Details!
A securiy guard at a auto production plant took pride in screening hundreds of employee’s at the end of their shift looking for stolen property. This guard opened lunch boxes, thermos bottles, pockets and if employee was caught stealing had them fired from their jobs! One particular employee was really troublesome to this guard because he would come out of the plant wheeling a wheelbarrow with about 6 inches of saw dust in the wheelbarrow? The guard would carefully move his had through the sawdust everyday but found nothing? One day in frustration the guard asked this man what he was stealing from the plant ?
