Man’s sensitivity to the little things and insensitivity to the greatest are the signs of a strange disorder? Blaise Pascal (1623-1662) Commentary: What was true of the 17th Century was true in the 1st Century and is true today in the 21st Century! Jesus in the scripture above in the Book of Matthew addressed the religious leaders of his day the Pharisees by saying you hypocrites you screen out gnats and swallow camels! Pascal was born towards the end of the Reformation period of the 16th Century and witnessed the abuses of his own Catholic church! Our politicians are not immune from this same disorder! We are concerned about the borders of Ukraine yet ignore the invasion of illegals on our own southern border? Now they are flooding across our northern border! Letting a spy balloon transverse our entire continental United States over our sensitive military sites? Letting China buy up land around our military bases? Shutting down our Keystone Pipeline putting thousands of Americans out of good paying jobs and claiming we can just safely transport oil by rail with over a thousand derailments per year here in America? Claiming you are for the environment yet allowing millions of illegals in with no requirement for COVID shots? Yet punishing Americans including our military for not taking the shot? China and India are buying the Russian oil on the world market funding Putin’s war in Ukraine yet no sanctions for them by Biden? Under Trump oil was 57 dollars per barrel and now it is 80 dollars per barrel under Biden! Russia sells 10 million barrels of oil on the world market mostly to China and India! Do the math how much more money does Putin get at 80 dollars per barrel than at 57 dollars per barrel? Yet Biden continues his war on fossil fuels? Flood our market with oil and the price will drop starving Putin’s finances to fund the war in Ukraine! A proxy war with Russia can lead to a nuclear war! Claiming you are for the environment and letting China off the hook for over a million dead from COVID? Claiming you are for the environment with a missing generation of people through abortion? Look I could list more examples but you get the point! Humanity needs a Savior which God has provided yet history has shown us that if man rejects the Savior and his sacrifice Christ made for us then men will continue to sacrifice other humans to get their way for power and control over other humans! Our biggest enemies are nations like China, Russia, North Korea and Iran where dictatorships through socialism control millions of people under the iron fist of absolute power! There is blood all over their hands and if our political leaders take monetary bribes from these nations and then look the other way then our freedom and democratic rule will one day end and be absorbed into the socialist states! What about our church here in America that looks the other way because of the 501c and will not politically enter the fight against the abuses of our own government? God Bless America! Commentary: Your little son asks you why the sky is blue? Why does it rain? Why does our dog wag his tail? Why does our president fall down all the time? So what is the definition of reason? It means according to the Hebrew and Greek to accept something as fact! During the Vietnam war my government told me that agent orange would not hurt humans! They lied to me! The same government 60 years later told me this experimental vaccine for COVID would not hurt me? Some believed them but I just have been around too long to not be reluctant of their claims? Some took the vaccine based on reason and some people did not take the vaccine based on reason! The reasons were different but a lack of trust in the facts presented were the biggest reason for the reluctance to take the vaccine! God has all the facts but we limited facts! Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden used reason to eat the forbidden fruit! Lucifer convinced them that God was a liar! Faulty facts was the basis of their decision! You can use one fact in a decision but not even know the other facts that will determine the outcome of your decision! Facts can be deceptive and not always true! All men are liars but God is true! God knows all the facts because he is creator of everything that exists! Would you trust him who knows everything about everything? Without faith it is impossible to please God! Time will not change God! Facts will not change him! God can be trusted to tell you the true facts! Heaven and earth will pass away but not his words! We are to live by faith! To trust him with our outcome not relying on faulty facts! Did you ever try reasoning with a woman? Like convincing an alligator to come out of your swimming pool! They are just wired differently! Not a fault but for function and purpose! Without trusting God and his Holy Scriptures we become fools! There is only one good reason to trust God! He is God and there is no other! People almost invariably arrive at their beliefs not on the basis of proof but on the basis of what they find attractive! Blaise Pascal. I.Q.-195 Commentary: What was attractive to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden was what God said not to do! They thought if we do what God said not to do then we can become God! In Islam if we can die for God then we can become God! Never mind God died for us! We want to take the place of God! In Hinduism it is attractive to belief we can make God in our own image! These millions of idols surely must represent God somehow? We make God! Never mind God made or created us in his own image! That would make God greater than us! That is not attractive! I want to be God! Satan at one time worshiped God in heaven! Now he worships himself as God and has become the devil! The most destructive ideology is to deny the living God and make yourself God then anything goes! Any sin is now desired and promoted in a culture headed for destruction! Pascal had this figured out over 400 years ago and truth will always be truth and the lies of deception and sin will always be true transcending time!
