Johnny hated school. He loved the outdoors and did things like hiking, hunting and fishing! He was in the 5th grade and his teacher thought she might have to hold him back a grade! His father and mother left for work on Monday morning at 7:00 AM. Johnny’s school bus picked him up at 8:00 AM. At 7:30 AM sharp Johnny called the school. The principal just happened to answer the phone! Johnny tried to make his voice sound like an adult speaking in a very low tone and he placed a cloth over the phone receiver! He said, “This is Mr. Wilson Johnny’s father and he is sick and cannot come to school today! The principal had a hard time understanding his words so he asked him to repeat what he said! Mister my father said i do not have to come to school today!!
