“And there was another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another; and there was given unto him a great sword.” Commentary: There are some things Jesus said in Matthew Chapter 10 that are quite sobering! He said you would be hated by all men because of me! Endure until the end and be saved! He said they will persecute you because of me! I did not come to bring peace! Did you know the political divisions today in American culture are because of Christ! Christians vote Republican and atheists or Darwinists vote Democrat! Orthodox Jews which make up 50 percent of the American Jewish population vote Republican and the other half of the Jews atheists or Darwinists vote Democrat! When you side with Christ you will be persecuted! If you do not side with Christ you will be the persecutor! We and some believe the seven seal judgments happen here following the Rapture of the Church during the seven year tribulation period climaxed by the second coming of Christ. In world history we have always experienced these troubles listed in Revelation Chapter six! Christ brings peace to those who accept him as Savior! Peace between God and man! Salvation! However at the same time those that reject Christ will hate you for loving God! Hate and love have always existed together since the beginning of time because the war is really between God and Satan! You cannot have one without the other! Love and hate! Two different sources! Jesus said I did not come to bring peace but division! War has always existed and so has peace! God brought peace between himself and man through his Son Jesus Christ! Sacrificing his Son for our sin! The judgment listed here in Chapter six is a war against those who war against Christ and his followers! Satan loves war, hate, sickness, death and disease because he has authored them! God came through his Son to redeem the men who have received him and rejected the ideologies of death! God has saved men from their own destruction! Those that reject Christ war against God and continue the ways of Satan! Here in Chapter six God wars against those that war against his Christ! Satan wars against those that follow his Christ! So even war itself can be good or bad depending on who is authoring it and for what purpose? Is it to take peace from the earth to destroy Satan who wars against all men and their God to destroy God’s creation? All have to make the decision who they will follow!
