The Christmas Baby!

He was created of a mother who he created! He was carried by hands he formed! He cried in the manger in wordless infancy! He, the Word without whom all human eloquence is mute. Augustine, Bishop of Hippo, Regins in Numidin, Roman North Africa (354-430 A.D.) Commentary: So what is Saint Augustine saying here? Baby Jesus has no beginning and no end! Jesus is different from every other baby born on planet earth! The Word became flesh! The author of creation enters into a woman through the womb of a woman named Mary into his own creation! The Divine God incarnated into flesh to redeem man from the sin of his flesh! Compared to ourselves mere human flesh to him we are humbled and muted before our King! The only thing left to do along with the shepherds and the wise men from the East is to praise him! Join the chorus of millions of angels around his throne in heaven and praise him! Merry Christmas!
