I John 3:8 “He that commiteth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For the purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” Commentary: Did you ever notice good and evil are formed around partnerships? The devil by definition is the false accuser of believers! Believers before God! Remember Job? Take away Job’s blessings and he will curse you! To whom and where did the Devil first accuse? God in heaven! Then he lead a rebellion with 1/3 rd of the angels and they all got kicked out of heaven! Today they roam the earth looking for who they can destroy! Ever notice 1/3 rd of the population on earth are Christian? So for every angel that rebelled against God there are believers in the earth that have replaced them! The worship has not been lost but increased! Judas had to have a partnership to betray Christ! The religious rulers conspired with him! After the betrayal Judas repented to them but they rejected him and he went out and hung himself! Never repent to the unrepentant! We have a Congress that partners together to create good and evil laws! We have an electorate that partners together to elect evil or good leaders! Hitler won a majority to come to power! We have a court that partners together to create evil and good laws! Our elected President will promote either wickedness or righteousness in our land! As a Christian what excuse do you have not to vote? Jesus came to destroy the works of Satan! Those that reject Christ promote evil! Did you ever notice that those who falsely accuse others will look for partnerships to agree with them! Like the impeachment hearings! Russian collusion theories! If you agree with them they will be your friend until the day you disagree with them and then you are their enemy! I was saved through Christ in 1973. We attended a small Assembly of God church in Denver Colorado. We had a missionary couple from Africa who had done ministry there for twenty years! They were precious people! They planted the mission fever in us during those two years! Then an evil partnership formed on the Church Board of Directors! One of the members had a son who was graduating from Bible school but had no job! So they voted and forced our Pastor out of the church! They went back to Africa! We walked away from that church and never looked back! We found ourselves on the mission field a few years later in India! Be careful who you partner with? When I got saved in 1973 and born again the Holy Spirit moved in and I have a partner in Holiness! A partner leading me to heaven! Everyone has a partner so who is your partner? Christ or Satan?
