But we all must start with our neighbor that is ones living closest to us! I took my neighbor to the gas station he ran out of fuel in his car! I loaned him some tools to work on his house. I have given him advice on his job and his financial condition! I have helped him make decisions about his life! I have shared the Gospel with him! Take time to be Holy says that old Gospel hymn! He wanted to experience the full pain for our sin to be the perfect sacrifice for us! Jesus created this earth and all the minerals and elements within the earth that are used to make medicines but he is above creation and would not submit to it even though it would have helped relieve his suffering! Let me be clear medicines are not bad but even good when they are prescribed by a doctor to help manage our health but the point here is there is only one Jesus who denied himself anything that would thwart his purpose and mission for our redemption! “If the foundation be destroyed or torn down what can the righteous do?” Commentary: King Saul the political leader of Israel cast aside his fear or reverence for God then no longer regarded truth or justice and then the righteous men had no security for their lives! President Reagan told Russia to tear down that wall of injustice and tyranny! However he did not say to tear down our walls of liberty and justice! Hopefully yesterday liberty and freedom did not die with Pat Robertson! As a young man he fought in the Korean war as a field grade officer in the Marines and thought America was worth dying for along with fifty thousand young Americans who did not come home from the war! They did not take bribes from our enemies but died for what they believed in! The assault on freedom and liberty over the past two years is historic! It is as though Lady Liberty has been raped! She lately has been giving American middle class citizens the middle finger! She has become the mother of a thousand harlots! A corrupt government can only stay in power by continuing to be corrupt! When justice stares them in the face they look the other way! They corruptly tip the scales in their favor! Patrick Henry decided if I cannot have liberty then life is not worth living! That is the same decision millions of young Americans made when they answered the call to military duty! If someone or something is not worth dying for then it is not worth living for! This is the clarion call of liberty! When I heard the report of a loud bang in the Washington D.C. area my first thought was did Joe fall again? Fall in his basement of the White House? When he saw the Air Force F-16’s flying overhead he probably though those Air Force cadets are trying to sand bag me again! Sadly all the noise was connected to the pilots trying to reach another pilot and passengers whose aircraft was in trouble! The Air Force pilots reported the pilot of that aircraft was slumped over in the cockpit and that aircraft went on to crash with loss of life! Our prayers to the family members for our Lord to comfort them in their time of grief! Did you know life and living is risky at best! You have a greater chance of dying in a vehicle crash than an aircraft accident! Home falls are deadly! Did you know according to my Bible dying is more risky than living! What do I mean? Dying without Christ means a separation from God forever! Life is short here on earth at best but eternity is a very long time! Forever is forever! No getting out on probation! No commuted sentence by the judge! Jesus one day will judge the living and the dead! But his justice will be perfect! He will not make a mistake! He came to earth as our Savior but his second coming as judge of all! He took your judgment on the Cross for your sin! But if we reject his redemption for us who took our judgment upon the Cross then the only thing left for us is his judgment! Condemned and separated from him forever! If I live my life down here on earth apart from him then I also have chosen to live my life apart from him in eternity! But it is all my choice! We choose heaven or hell depending on what we do with Christ! Accept the gift of eternal life or reject it? Source: Christian Post. Commentary: Zelenskyy the Ukrainian leader a Jew says Putin is the Anti-Christ! The Russian Orthodox Church controlled by Putin says Zelenskyy is the Anti-Christ! Russia historically has enlisted Muslim nations such as Iran to go after Israel! Crimea is 12 percent Muslim and Zelenskyy is enlisting them to fight against Russia! War makes strange bed fellows! It would be a cold day in hell if American Christians would have to rely on Putin for protection from our own government? Syrian Christians are thankful to Assad and Putin for giving them minority status and protection! We live in a crazy world! Remember the Anti-Christ will not come to power by war but by offering peace to the world! He will make a covenant with Israel and then break it! If Putin or Zelenskyy are my protectors then I need two alligators in my swimming pool to protect me from the frogs! Putin has done war crimes against the Ukrainian people! “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” Commentary: Remember the old high school pep rally songs when the saints go marching in? I want to be in that number when the saints go marching in! That was high schools 55 years ago so now maybe not politically correct? Throw Jesus out of our entire culture but we are reaping the whirlwind! The word “saints” used here in the Hebrew Old Testament is an interesting word! This Psalm was written 3000 years ago! A thousand years before the Cross! This word Strong’s #2623 refers to the holy one to come! Jesus the Messiah! The Jews were always looking forward to their coming Messiah! So much the prophets received from God where he was to be born and the time he was to be born! Sadly when he did finally come some Jews especially the religious ones rejected him and plotted his death which was also prophetic! They were looking forward to their promised Messiah and we as gentiles look back to the Cross and the purchase of our redemption! However we are also looking forward to his second coming which is also prophetic more scriptures on this event than his first coming! Here is the problem the Jews will face who rejected his first coming! A Jew will appear on the scene who they will mistake as their Christ but will be the Anti-Christ! He will deceive them and let him into their rebuilt Temple at Jerusalem and 3 1/2 years later when he demands worship from them they then will realize they have been deceived! The Messiah is a Jew but the Anti-Christ will also be a Jew! Which Jew are you following? One will lead you to heaven but the other will lead you to hell! Jesus said if you are not for me then you are against me! Jesus second coming is not as Savior but as judge of the living and the dead! His first coming mission was as Savior! It says in scripture when the whole world observes his second coming there will be cries of agony and grinding of teeth and people trying to escape him by hiding under rocks! However he will leave no stone unturned! Only his first coming can save you! A saint is not one who wears a long robe or a cape but trusts his God for his redemption something only God can do and has done for us! We just have to receive the gift of salvation!
